Good .loved the icecream and flavors.Everyone at home enjoyed the icecream a lot .Will try it next time as well

Used to be our to go to place since moving to Parker almost two years ago. We totally get that prices everywhere has gone up, but for a pint size that used to be $7, is now $11??? Wow! I guess we'll go back to Haagen-Dazs Also, service is not as friendly and attentive - always busy on their phones, making customers wait until they were done with their personal calls. read more

Butterfield's Ice Cream - Cappuccino chocolate chip - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Parker, Colorado

The ice cream is delicious, but your containers that supposedly, but there is not room for 2 scoops, Your chocolate cookies are very tasty, I was considering purchasing 1/2 dozen, but when I learned ,they were $3.18, each, (See photo below) I posted) no way especially for $3.18. Your Sugar Cookies and Chocolate Chip Cookies are twice as big I do suppose, when a business decides to accept credit cards for payment, that is their choice; but to pass on an extra charge to the customer, is totally unfair. My card comes directly out of my account, not like a credit card. Some people prefer not to carry cash due to theft. read more

Butterfield's Ice Cream - Chocolate Cookie - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Parker, Colorado

Ice cream is really tasty (recommend caramel Oreo and chocolate Oreo combo!), but it is on the more soft side (a little melty if that makes sense). I personally enjoy mine like that BUT I know a lot of people do not. The shop is honestly plain and a little run down looking inside unfortunately. Every time we've gone as well the staff (same person) has been very unfriendly and not welcoming at all, and often has an AirPod in. read more

It's good ice cream, with some very interesting flavors. All 4 of us thought it was good. But perhaps not as good as the reviews (which got us to drive over from Castle Rock) made us think it might be amazing. read more

What happened to Butterfields?!? First, I noticed that the benches out front were filthy and covered in melted ice cream. So much so that I decided to stand. The store itself seemed dirty which is an immediate turn off. The employee behind the counter was incredibly unfriendly and said nothing to us when we walked in, and could not even be bothered to turn around. Eventually we had to tell her we were ready to order. She didn't know what a root beer float was. One of my kids asked for sprinkles but she still didn't put them on her ice cream. We had to ask for straws for the floats because they hoard them behind the counter and then act annoyed when you ask for one. This used to be such a cute little ma and pa store. Such a shame. read more

This review is long overdue from multiple visits. Service here is always pleasant and ambiance is homey. When you walk in your smell waffle cones, candy, greatness. We come here often during the summer months with our grandkids. They love the choices of flavors mainly the superman. We enjoy the vanilla or coffee with jimmies on top! Wish they would add gelato to mix but other than that a solid ice cream shop! read more

They have gotten stingier with their portions since the first time we tried them a few years ago. In the past, a medium double scoop would overflow the waffle cone. This last time we went, a large triple scoop didn't even fill the waffle cone. That's definitively one way to keep costs down. read more

Butterfield's Ice Cream - Coconut Almond Crunch and Malt Chocolate Heath are both so delicious! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Parker, Colorado

Great small batch ice cream in a large variety of flavors. You're sure to find one or more that you love. My wife loves the butterdoodle (snickerdoodle), having it almost every time. read more

The ice cream here is outstanding. Our favorite local place for ice cream. All of the flavors are packed with flavor and the scoops are generous. read more

I've been here about 3 times and each time it is so delicious. It is definitely a Parker favorite as I ask people where to get some good ice cream and they always recommend Butterfield's! I got the butter pecan and my sister got the strawberry sorbet which were both realllllyy good! read more

Finally made the decision we will not return after our last visit. Not sure but maybe new ownership but they are obviously having a hard time running a business. Portions have gotten dramatically smaller. Cost has increased and now surcharging me to use my card. Will not allow 2 flavors in a pint so they would rather me order a large for less money and get two flavors. Too many other options just as good-Andy's, The farm, Handels and even cold stone will move to the front of the line. BTW discharging cards and pushing people to cash is a great way to get young people robbed at closing time. read more

Local to Parker, the Butter doodle ice cream is a classic flavor and a must have in our house! There are many flavors to choose from. The cones are dipped in chocolate, sometimes they also have sprinkles. The case in the front is filled with ice creams to take home and drinks in case you want to make a root beer float. It's located in a strip mall with Kingsoopers. There's plenty of parking. The staff here has been friendly. And there are some places to sit inside. I definitely recommend giving this ice cream spot a try the next time you have a craving. read more

The ice cream is very good. The new owners are running the greatness of the old store into the ground. The costs have almost doubled. The cones have shrunk and the scoop size has shrunk also. Service is unfriendly and very mediocre. It is a shame this once great ice cream parlor has gone this far downhill. read more

We have been coming to Butterfield's for the last five years. There has been a marked decline in their service over the past year. Employees are no longer cheerful or helpful. They all look like they're there to just collect a paycheck. We're lucky to get greeted when we enter the store. This evening, we got there 45!minutes before closing. The man behind us in line had two daughters with him and one of them ordered a milkshake. One of the workers said, "we're not making shakes tonight." It was clear that they were cleaning up and didn't want to have to clean up the shake machine again to make one for the customer. Just plain laziness. I understand that they hire school- age kids - this is likely their first job - but these employees are simply not friendly at all. This is a poor reflection on the the new owners: they will apparently hire just anybody with a pulse instead of getting enthusiastic, friendly employees who make customers feel welcome and valued. We will go across town to another great place for ice cream in the future: Butterfield's isn't the only place in town. Their ice cream is good, no doubt, but not worth the disappointing experience and lack of customer service. It's a shame that the new ownership just doesn't understand the importance of customer service and retaining customer loyalty. read more

Stopped by this evening with my husband and toddler. Service was quick and friendly, we tasted a few before we settled on our flavors. My daughter got the mango sorbet and I've never seen her eat anything that fast! I got the almond coconut chocolate one which was a perfect mix of all the flavors and my husband got the mud pie that had a cappuccino chocolate mix which was delicious! Bathrooms were out of order which wasn't ideal with a toddler in tow but otherwise good place for ice cream, we will be back for more! read more

Fabulous ice cream - lousy service. The gal had a personality of a dead fish and wasn't very communicative. She doesn't understand customer service and as a result, she didn't get a tip from me. read more

Their ice cream flavors are so delicious here! Such a large variety and the NEW owners are so sweet and friendly. The seating now is much better as it is more comfortable and can seat more people. Took the family for some great ice cream and this place never disappoints! Roughly 30 flavors waiting to be enjoyed along with milkshakes and cakes. Limited seating inside but most people sat outside on a bench, walked around, or took the ice cream back to their car. Great spot to enjoy a frozen treat on a summer night! read more

The ice cream here is fantastic! They have lots of choices, you can't go wrong with any flavor. The store itself is a little sad, needs a fresh modern makeover. But the ice cream itself is so worth it. read more

This world is getting better and better as more little shops make their own ice cream full of yummy chunks of goodness like I love them. Been eying this place for a while now and finally the time and place arose. For $6 you can get 3 generous scoops - the only challenge is narrowing it down to 3! Based on how delicious the options were that I chose, I suspect that any choice would be satisfying. We went for the chunky chocolatey options - caramel Oreo, s'mores, and and turtle. There's a reason the caramel Oreo is the most popular flavor. It is quite good. But every single one was excellent. My only issue was that they put it in a pint container, which means the scoops are stacked on top of each other and you cannot try the flavors at the same time easily; you have to eat one layer and then the next and then the next. Also they still don't allow samples even though we can fly without masks - I guess maybe ice cream places have decided that is a decision to stick with post-COVID? but I sure enjoy trying things to make sure that I want them. Minor complaints in the grand scheme of things. read more

Love this local, family-owned ice cream shop! Always a treat to choose from many delicious flavors of homemade ice cream - from traditional choices like vanilla or chocolate mint to yummy creations like Salted Snickers or Coconut Almond Chunk - they are all winners! Courteous and swift service with a smile - you can't go wrong at Butterfield's! Tonight we enjoyed the seasonal flavor - Peach Crisp - made with fresh Palisade peaches and crunchy bits of waffle cone, loved it!! And to top it off, they treated our pup to a cup of whipped cream! So happy to have Butterfield's as our neighborhood ice cream shop!! read more

Always awesome! Super ice cream and nice folks serving it! They also know their ingredients for us allergy people. read more

The last review I gave, I said that the ice cream was great and I complained that they were still not giving out samples which was something they started during the pandemic. We were just in there today and clearly virtually every business has discontinued practices they started during and because of the pandemic. Well not Butterfields. But now they have a different reason for not giving out samples. They don't give out samples in order to reduce waste and overhead...so it's really about the money...not the customer service. Well just fyi, Kilwins gives free samples if you want to check out a new flavor. read more

Best Ice cream in town go their we we can serves is fast and the place is clean! love this place!

This is the best ice cream!! Im usually a vanilla girl because I think all the crazy flavors are just too rich. But not here! I tried 3 flavors and honestly loved all of them. I landed up getting salted snickers and smores! Both were incredible! Also the girl working made the experience even better, she was so sweet and very attentive! Now, I can eat ice cream, I am no stranger to a 2 scoop cup, but wow, 2 scoops is too much! I'm wondering if this is Parker's best kept secret because today it was about 95 outside and this shop was deserted. Part of me thinks that maybe it's the unfriendly staff member that drives people away? I'm the only one in the store and I get two items, double scoops and she barley cracked a smile. Then I see the loyalty cards, (didn't ask if I already had one or anything) I grab one and ask her to stamp it - it's for a free single scoop or $4 off after 10 visits - and I get 1 stamp. I spent over $11 on two ice creams, that should have warranted at least a second stamp. My hubby got a waffle cone, salted caramel and espresso chocolate chip. I got a cup with lemon cream and caramel Oreo. All of them tasted great but the caramel Oreo was pretty rich. Needless to say we skipped lunch today read more

We loved coming to Butterfields with there fresh homemade ice cream and waffle cones. But in the last few months this establishment has gone downhill. The first time a few months back we went and they were out of 90% of the flavors. Very disappointed and the girl said new ownership doesn't know how to make all the flavors yet and to boot they had no waffle cones. We go back next month and this time the girl was taken back that she had paying customers because she was to busy giving free ice cream to her 10 friends that came in. She was taking pictures of herself and them to post on social media and not one of them paid for ice cream. We were up next and she was so unfriendly and we left after getting our ice cream - no tip for her for her lack of customer service and us witnessing her giving free stuff away which annoys me bc someone owns this place and she's stealing. Today we come back wanting ice cream at 6:30 after dinner to the establishment being closed! Why weather is fine and it's early! We go to Google and now it says temporarily closed! Sad and we are not close to the location. Get it together!! read more
