I really wanted to love this place more than I did. Our family is a huge fan of Fika coffee located in downtown Parker, just off of main street. But this location does not offer the same level of excellence in service, or in expertise when crafting coffee. Not only was my husband's warm brew incredibly watery, but he said he could taste grains inside, swimming at the bottom of his mug. On top of which, my own iced breve lacked any flavor, despite the fact that I'd requested an addition of three separate flavors of sugar-free syrup pumped in at the end. Seating was pretty limited, as most tables were taken by students of all ages hunched over open laptops, alongside tubby backpacks. The temperature in the lodge was nothing short of stifling, and as this has been an unseasonably warm winter, the high degree seemed extreme. I found myself sweating, even after shedding several layers, and had to walk the property in order to cool down at one point. Thankfully, the surrounding scenery of panoramic mountain views offers its own mesmerizing draw, in this particular location erected off the beaten path. Parking is tight and can be tricky when snow patches take up half the lot, as another review mentioned. I appreciated the fact that the bathroom was clean and housed lots of charm. There are sugar-free syrup options on the menu, alongside gluten-free pastries, which is always helpful for those with dietary restrictions like myself. I did fall in love with the colorful little library, cheerfully offered at one end of the lot. Books, like coffee, bring a community together. This place is worth a visit, but I wouldn't recommend going in the summer, unless they know how to actually use the air condition. read more

This is my happy place. Sitting out on the veranda on top of a hill with a scenic view of the mountains and Tall Meadows Park and Trail, with my dogs is a wonderful experience. (You can tie up your horse too!) The ambiance is great, as this building was the original developer's community center, so it was designed to fit into our neighborhood. While 3-4pm may be a little hectic due to the nearby middle school and high school students, it is a great place to stop on a stroll/hike along the trail. For Idyllwilde neighbors, its location next to our community pool and the Great Hall is a great amenity. How many neighborhoods have their own coffee house with such great options and a great location? The staff includes some young adults learning the food service business, so the owners are not only our neighbors but invested in serving our community every way possible. Thank you! read more

I was convinced via social media to find this place. Would I have come across this coffee shop otherwise? Probably not, which is why I need y'all to know about it! Tucked in a quiet neighborhood in Parker near the main road, you can find this log cabin esque coffee shop. Filled with cozy couches, family style tables and chairs, this place is very popular for a reason. Unfortunately there's not really any food options. Some microwaveable burritos and limited baked goods that don't seem to have been made there. But there's dozens of flavored coffee options. I tried their Funky Monkey which was a banana flavored latte. It was like drinking a Korean Banana Milk and coffee. I loved the uniqueness and variety. I think if I lived in the area I'd be crazy not to come here to enjoy the calmness and ambience. But I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. This coffee shop is a great find. At first we came here because a friend was being interviewed here. It happened to be a beautiful day and we sat outside to enjoy the view. I didn't order anything but It sold me on the ambiance alone. The view was amazing and we plan on bringing the fur baby here. It seems like a lot of highschool kids hang out here and study. My friend ordered a latte and I plan on ordering next time. Perhaps the baristas can make a good suggestion. Or stick to my go to double espresso. A go to favorite coffee spot in Parker. The beans are okay. We enjoy ordering the cortados. They have a lot of fun drinks and teas to pick from. They have ice cream as well and breakfast burritos you can heat up for yourself. It's a cozy cabin feel. The natural landscape is pretty. With some walking trails around. Parking depends on how busy they are. I recommend avoiding the time when school down the road lets out. The place swarms with teens, and you won't find a spot to sit. During the school year around 3:00 is when it's busy. It settles down by 4:00. Otherwise it's usually fine. The lot is shared with the neighborhood pool. You can find parking on the side street as well. There is outdoor seating. The views are beautiful. The staff is friendly. read more

This location of fika COFFEE HOUSE is nestled quietly in this residential area in the southeastern part of Parker. I was on my way to Elizabeth yesterday afternoon but needed to grab a quick double espresso. I was already on Parker Road past the heart of Parker so when I did a quick search for an independently owned coffee shop, fika came up so I gave it a try. This location of fika is absolutely adorable. It's got that quaint log house appearance and feel. A huge 'fika' sign outside welcomed me first and took the time to take a picture of it. I appreciated the little education on it as to how the name is pronounced and what it means. It was a nice warm afternoon yesterday. With my winter jacket, I felt a little toasty inside but I didn't mind it at all (I bet it'd be nice to sink in one of the couches on a cold winter day sipping your favorite drink with a book.) The two young ladies at the counter were welcoming. I asked them about what appeared to be pumpkin scones; they said they were seasonal ones and weren't sure as to what flavor and with what ingredients as they had just gotten them. I gave it a try. It sure was pumpkin. And it was only $2.95! With my double espresso, the total wasn't even $6. I appreciate a place where the prices are so reasonable. If I'm not mistaken, I've been to the Mainstreet location (not recently however.) I highly recommend this Idyllwide location because it's away from all the busy city feel; it's a nice place to relax and get lost in a book. You can also walk around it as it's in a beautiful setting. I certainly enjoyed it! And dog friendly, too! read more

Charming coffee house! The coffees are tasty (I ordered the Midnight in Paris - Lavender + Vanilla latte at half sweetness). The service is quick and friendly. The ambiance is by far the reason to go. This Fika is settled into a cozy, lofty cabin, befitted with a fireplace, a wood burning stove, and a chipper crowd. Seating is limited--at busy hours, you'll be lucky to find an open table. read more

I discovered this place several years ago while living in Aurora. I visited here many times and plan on many more visits. I love how this Fika location is situated "off the beaten path." It has a really nice view of the surrounding area. I love visiting, bringing a book and having coffee while sitting in their cozy seating area. It's not too noisy here as well. For those warmer weather days there are some nice places to sit outside. They have a nice wraparound porch with tables and chairs. I love when you order coffee here they provide a ceramic mug rather than ask for it like so many other coffee shops require. They usually feature about three coffees in carafes. It's also self serve and the half & half is next to the carafes. Free refills for when you're having coffee there. They also sell some pastries to go with your coffee. Also, Kaladi Coffee is their featured coffee brand here. If this place isn't too far away from you, I recommend checking them out sometime. This would also be a nice stop if you're in town visiting to taste one of the finest coffees in Denver and to take in the beauty of Colorado. The staff is great, the inside has lots of different seating options and the outside has many places to sit too. I was scoping them out as a possible place to study. It can be loud as it is a family friendly coffee spot in the middle of a neighborhood and across from a school. There are many drink options and a few pastries. I really wanted to give them 5 stars! Especially because I LOVE the Fika on Mainstreet. I walked into the establishment, and one of the workers was not friendly or respectful. The shop is very cute and cozy and the workers are always very nice. This shop is very clean. The vibe is giving comfy cabin in the woods. All the pastry's are delicious, and so are the drinks! I love chai and matcha, and this coffee shop does it best! It feels like a great place to chill out and get some work done. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This coffee shop must be the cutest one around town by a huge margin. Tons of seating options both inside and out, great coffee shop vibe, perfect spot to meet up with someone or get some work/reading done. Not too busy on weekday mornings. Relatively speaking, plenty of parking available in the front though fills up rather quickly on weekend mornings. Their coffee is actually good, they also have a ton of interesting beverage options with a variety of flavors. My only disappointment with this spot has been their pastry so far, specifically their scones. We've tried their scones (lemon blueberry and also the almond apricot) and while the lemon blueberry could pass as a scone and actually had some flavor, the almost apricot scone was just... Not a scone. It honestly was just weird bread with some almond icing on top and calling it a scone is an insult to the scones of the world. So there's that. The sugar level of the scones I'll say was great though so at least that's good? They weren't overly sweet which a lot of scones could end up being in coffee shops. Overall though this is a fantastic coffee shop and we will continue to come back! read more

I would love to give this place five stars the food is good and usually fresh, the rustic cabin aesthetic really creates a nice cozy spot to work, and the workers are usually accommodating. The only reason I wouldn't give this place five stars is there does tend to be a very large amount of rudeness from the high schools that come from the nearby high school I just avoid the place on weekdays between 2-4pm. Out of many coffee shops, this one has a more home-like feel to it. The inside is is like a cabin that makes it a relaxing environment to do work on your computer or just relax. The outside patio is absolutely beautiful as it overlooks a park and an outdoor recreation center. There are several tables outside to come outside to relax. In addition the patio is pet friendly with several water bowls for dogs. In regards to the coffee, there are several flavors to enjoy, many of which satisfy the sweet tooth while also tending to ones coffee craving. I enjoy karma nut which had a hint caramel. I also got the almond joy which I did not enjoy as much as it didn't really have any coconut flavor. I would definitely come here to study again or just to relax. read more

I came across this coffee place when searching for an establishment that makes a good chai tea latte--not weird ones made by chains like Starbucks. I also prefer to shop local that corporate. So when I came across the review from another yelper about this place serving an incredible chai, it caught my attention and I am so thankful it did. The chai was a perfect blend of spice, sweet, and smoothness. I went with oat milk, which is my go-to when it comes to chai tea lattes and highly recommend (especially if one is lactose intolerant like myself). My husband truly enjoyed the house coffee and the cinnamon bun.
