On top of which, my own iced breve lacked any flavor, despite the fact that I'd requested an addition of three separate flavors of sugar-free syrup pumped in at the end. Seating was pretty limited, as most tables were taken by students of all ages hunched over open laptops, alongside tubby backpacks. The temperature in the lodge was nothing short of stifling, and as this has been an unseasonably warm winter, the high degree seemed extreme. I found myself sweating, even after shedding several layers, and had to walk the property in order to cool down at one point. Thankfully, the surrounding scenery of panoramic mountain views offers its own mesmerizing draw, in this particular location erected off the beaten path. Parking is tight and can be tricky when snow patches take up half the lot, as another review mentioned. I appreciated the fact that the bathroom was clean and housed lots of charm. There are sugar-free syrup options on the menu, alongside gluten-free pastries, which is always helpful for those with dietary restrictions like myself. I did fall in love with the colorful little library, cheerfully offered at one end of the lot. Books, like coffee, bring a community together. This place is worth a visit, but I wouldn't recommend going in the summer, unless they know how to actually use the air condition.

It was an early afternoon time around 1:30pm. Before I was going to my job assignment, I needed a quick coffee break. As I was coming out of the business right across from the street, this coffee shop didn't escape my notice. I wasted no time to rush to it to check it out. This shop is conjoined with a little country shop. Once you are inside the building, the coffee shop is to the right. A young lady welcomed me with a smile. I was the only person at the time of the visit so I was immediately helped. The drink menu is a good size. They also have a decent selection for breakfast and lunch items. My iced latte (16oz) was not even $5 after tax. I truly appreciate the small town prices. This place does look like something the town of Elizabeth had long been waiting for: another boost to make this quiet and quaint town could utilize to bring some curious visitors to come check out and see how cute Elizabeth is. I was shocked to see how FAST the internet is here at the cafe. 130bps Down and 125 mbps Up. Absolutely incredible. It's not drop off daycare, but you leave your kids in the nursery while you have a coffee with your friends, or work etc in the coffee shop. You can't see the coffee shop from outside because it's inside the church building. They separate the kids according to age levels. The little kids play with toys, older kids get storytime and games. If it's warm they play in the playground outside as well. Very well organised. The drinks are all very reasonably priced. My 16oz tea was $1.75 and the coffees are a little more. The seating area is clean and comfortable, everyone is very friendly. There was even a child safety seat in the restroom if you don't want to leave your kid strapped to the change table! Will be back!

They have great fresh baked pastries. Staff is always friendly. Sometimes their staff can learn to speak up and to speak with confidence. It doesn't take that to get my beverage and be on my way. I also like how this coffee shop is relatively close to I-25. So if you're traveling up or down 25, consider this place a pit stop. Also, I like their gift shop. It's setup near the register. So when you're waiting in line it gives you an opportunity to browse items, pickup a bag of coffee or other item before ordering. Looking forward to my next visit!
