Cute coffee shop in a convenient spot around downtown Castle Rock. (Next door to a bakery, so hop into the store next door for a fresh cinnamon role!) I always grab an oat milk latte if I'm going to grab some coffee, and this was pretty good. Though, even for a smaller size, it was a bit too milky for me. I prefer to taste a bit more of that espresso, personally, but it was still decent and better than a few other options I've had downtown. They have a few pastry options, and cold breakfast burritos from Kiowa. The burrito was great! Flavorful. Several spots to sit in and eat/drink, and a few cute bistro tables/chairs outside on the sidewalk. The one thing missing for me was the service/hospitality. The staff couldn't be bothered to respond to a thank-you, and the demeanor was just a bit strange overall for a customer service role. They were happy to chat amongst each other, though. We recently tried the Castle Rock location after having a good experience at the Highlands Ranch location last year. Overall they have really good coffee and yummy food. This location has plenty of seating and cute decor. We tried the breakfast burritos and they were delicious. The lemon poppyseed scone was good too. The spicy chai was definetly spicy but not in the way that I was expecting. Instead of a stronger traditional spiciness associated with chai (such as cloves, cinnamon, etc) there was an unpleasant burning flavor/sensation in the back of my throat after I swallowed each sip - almost like a cayenne or something. It ruined the whole drink and now I know to avoid the spicy chai and I will just opt for a regular chai next time. My husband enjoyed his iced vanilla latte. Make sure you go early on the weekends otherwise there will be a line out the door and they will be sold out of burritos and pastries. read more

They offer a variety of unique latte flavors, and I absolutely loved the sourdough chocolate chip cookie -- highly recommend it (not too sweet, with a tad salty)! We also got the black sesame latte and spicy chai. Both drinks had strong flavor profiles, the spicy chai lives truly up to its name - spicy (however we loved it). I also ask to have less sesame in my latte to tone down the sweetness and for me, the drinks were great no complaints. The staff was incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions about the drinks. The location was somewhat convenient in downtown Castle Rock, CO, there was adequate parking (although I could barely find a place to park in the rather large parking lot on the side of the shop and in the back), the outside of the shop was not decorated in any interesting way, I was greeted upon entering, the front counter looked quite attractive and interesting and the employees looked fairly friendly, the shop was average size, had some interesting decorations on the wall, etc., was clean, and had an average amount of seating (not sure if there was an upstairs), my (food) lunch item was delicious, service was really good, my coffee was excellent, and the free WiFi worked well with a password. read more

We parked in the lot behind the main street-- a bit cramped and difficult to maneuver, but it's free so whatever LOL. LostCoffee is right on the corner of Perry and Fourth. TEA LATTE (jade cloud, oat milk + honey): Don't see this type of green tea often! Their blend is more milk-heavy but still very silky and herbal. EGGNOG LATTE (oat milk): Tastes just like eggnog. Not for me, but my bf said this was one of the best lattes he's ever had ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Interior is very modern, minimalistic. Staff are super peppy and kind, and drinks come out quickly. I didn't like that their menu didn't show any of their prices. I've only been here once, but have walked past it for years. It's next to a cake shop, which pairs well. There's a cool vibe to the place and they have a lot of seasonal options. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This was my first time at this location. I ordered an hazelnut iced latte and it was the worst latte I have ever had. There was no taste of espresso, or any syrup. It tasted just like a cup of whole milk. I could have made a much better latte at home. Plus it was $7 for a small iced latte. A quick glance at the menu and I knew I had to try the maple cinnamon latte with oat milk! I wish I had realized that the cute little toasted marshmallow skewer was a $1.50 extra (barista did not mention it although it is on the bottom of the "specials" page) because I wouldn't have gotten it but at least it made for an aesthetic pic! First time visiting. The staff were friendly and the menu was diverse. We order a pumpkin latte, green tea and two iced coffees. Also a chocolate croissant. All the drinks we ordered were served fairly quickly, we found each to be enjoyable. Unfortunately, the chocolate was forgotten by the staff. We had to ask for it as it was left in the oven/microwave. The good news is it was still warm and very tasty. Overall it is well worth your time to visit. The parking is fairly limited, the interior seating was a little uncomfortable, when compared to most coffee houses. The hot lattes are supposed to have three shots of espresso in them, but they taste so milky. When I've watched them make the drinks it definitely hasn't been a full two shots and the "third" was a teeny splash top off. This has been consistent across going almost every week day for two weeks. Plus their cream cheese croissants DONT have cream cheese in them. And they were incredibly salty. Employees always chit chatting and often don't serve the drink/food orders in order from when they were placed. And my food is consistently forgotten, so I have to remind them to heat it up and essentially wait 20min for what should be a quick in and out, even during the times the place is busy. Also the seating is super uncomfortable so it's not a good place to work remotely or take a meeting for an hour. Just inefficient, the coffee isn't that good, and feels scammy. read more

It's comparable to a big city block or corporate/office coffee shop rather than a "traditional" shop with deep lounge chairs, space to spread out, or tables to meet. Although, there is a coffee bar table top with lots of plug-ins for your electronics and seats are situated at nearby outlets. The cappuccino was somewhat of a disappointment but it still did the trick! Located in downtown Castle Rock, Lost Coffee has always been one of my favorite coffee shops. It's sad to see a lot of stores around it going out of business because of covid so I hope things turn around soon... Anyways, coffee is always great, and staff is very pleasant. I don't recommend their pastries: they have never been great and I would always get something at the bakery store next door but, as it's not longer around, I decided to give LostCoffee croissant another try and was super disappointing (I understand things are tough but $5.50 for a pretty bad pastry is very steep). However, coffee and tea will keep you happy so if you want to support a local business, I would definitely recommend this place! read more

I have found myself preferring other shops, as the cold brew and lattes I have had from Lost Coffee were on the watery side, with poor extraction and flavor. Giving two stars due to how this place USED to be. Last year / two years ago this place deserved 5 stars. Amazing customer service, fair prices (not to mention great coupons to loyal customers regularly) and most importantly delicious coffee. Had a nice strong coffee taste to whatever you got, didn't taste too sweet, and not overly milky. Since last year they have risen their coffee and food prices by close to 20%, the quality of the coffee has gone down drastically, to the point where I almost sarcastically ask for some coffee to go with my sweetened milk, 5% off coupons are handed out quarterly, and with a $1 tip I am in the double digits for a cup of coffee. The only thing that has stayed relatively the same is the service and the ambience is still very nice and welcoming. I used to go here once every few days, now I go once every couple months to see if they went back to how they used to be. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed every time the past 1/2 year. read more

Everyone makes chai tea lattes different but this was very disappointing. It was lacking the chai flavor. Not much cinnamon or cardamom to be found. I also checked in to redeem the free espresso shot. The employee at the front did not seem to know so he grabbed the manager on duty. She said "That's weird and I've never seen that. It's just for an espresso shot.. that makes no sense". I explained and showed her how it's on their yelp page. She said I know nothing about so sorry I can't do it. Then to top it off after waiting 5-7 mins after my coffee came up I had to remind them about my pastries I ordered.
