Nice spot for a Saturday morning coffee in downtown Castle Rock! This is at the corner of Perry Street and 4th Street. Lost Coffee is local! They started out as a food truck then expanded into it's first location not too long afterwards. They have three locations: Castle Rock, Aurora and Littleton. I do not recall if I've been to the Aurora location in the past. This Castle Rock location is a great spot to enjoy a coffee then go for a walk in the downtown area or perhaps dine at a restaurant. There are nearby shops and restaurants. It's fairly busy, as expected for the location. There was a steady flow of patrons during my visit. I ordered a large drip brew coffee. It's served from a thermal coffee carafe rather than directly from a machine that brews it. I still love that Starbucks serves coffee directly from their brewing machine rather than the thermal coffee carafe. Heads up that this location is noisy due to it's location. It's probably not the best place for reading or writing. However, perfect place to meet a friend(s) or family. I love the fact that Lost Coffee is local and I enjoy supporting local businesses. The interior is clean and has plenty of space for seating with chairs, tables, high top bar and a few cozy chairs in a small corner. I like that you can gaze out the various windows and people watch. The coffee isn't bad. I feel that it's above average. Not exceptional, in my opinion. I've tasted a lot of coffees so it's challenging for me to give an exceptional or great label to a coffee. Also, there are so many great coffee locations in Colorado. Lost Coffee also offers various pastry options. Nice to go with a cup of coffee. One of the pastry options is a chocolate croissant. Restrooms are located in a hallway at the back of the establishment. It appears that you need to briefly leave the main area to use the restrooms. They're unisex and you need to ask a barista for a key to the restroom(s). I imagine they've had issues with patrons in the downtown area sneaking in to just use their restrooms. Also, there are plenty of tables outside to sit and enjoy your coffee. It's nicely shaded as well. Overall, not bad at all. They definitely nailed it with location! I would return here. I recommend checking this location out if you're ever visiting downtown Castle Rock. read more

My favourite coffee place in all of Colorado! I have to say, specialty cafes all over downtown Denver just don't hold a candle to this local chain. Their nitro cold brew is silky smooth but bold, with a little cream, no sugar needed. And specifically this location off the Main Street in Castle Rock seems to be the best brew I've ever had. Ever. I just got back after being away for some time and I'm noticing a lot of changes I'm mixed about! I'm loving the garage doors they're putting in but not loving the new decor. It's definitely trendier but I'm finding it a little sterile. It doesn't feel like the same homey cafe so I hope they can start adding personal touches in time. At least the drinks still tastes great. And the location here is fantastic! There's plenty of street parking and a lot behind the cafe, so even on a busy weekend, you're never parked more than a few blocks away. Come on a Summer Saturday, grab a cold brew and walk across the street to the farmers market. In the Winter you can get a hot latte and then walk down the street to go ice skating. Perfect coffee and perfect location, my absolute favourite cafe in all of Colorado. read more

We came in for two drip coffees on a cold rainy day. The baristas brewed fresh coffee but filled our cups as it brewed. This resulted in sour, undrinkable coffee at premium prices. I would expect untrained baristas at a grocery store Starbucks but Lost should know better. Also, as a coffee shop, not having a restroom is a faux pas. We were told that the key has been lost for a while. While this is on brand, it's a lame excuse for doing a bad job. You have lost my business. read more

Cute atmosphere, super tasty coffee. I had the seasonal 'Campfire Chai'. They use a spicy chai form Boulder (love small supporting small) and it was phenomenal. They have a good amount of seating, customer service was friendly, and they were willing to discuss what they used when I asked because it tasted so good. Would definitely visit again. read more

Rolling down the I-25, on way to meet work comrade to discuss biz ness... She picked castle rock as a compromise between Denver and C Springs but at another joint that frankly looked sketchy. I was early and as I tried to spot the usual locations a FourBucks would be located, there was only LOCAL coffee shops. So I whipped out the phone and used yelp to pick this. Free WiFi a couple of pastries and other nuclear heated choices (microwave) of burritos and breakfast sammie's. The option of oat milk was weird and intriguing enough to try it in a cappuccino; what the heck I'm apparently in a Starbucks free zone, already deviating from the familiar. But this place had the requisite restroom, working tables with electrical outlets and of course free WiFi. It wasn't bad, the steamed oak milk, whipped up a froth equal to half and half. And the oatty finish on the palette didn't suck. It was mild. The coffee wasn't the usual over roasted damn near burned flavor of FourBucks. It was mild smooth.... kinda refreshing. You know? If I decide to ever eat a bowl of oatmeal, pouring my morning coffee and cream in it on purpose may look weird but am pretty sure I know how it's gonna taste. And that ain't a bad thing! There were obvious regulars and because there was no fourbucks, the usual WiFi hoarders with backpacks and extension cords, strategically dispersed along the perimeter tables where the outlets were. So if you need a quick cup of Joe and have to deal with the mountain of emails I'm not willing to drive and dive into them, and maybe need a pottie break, check it out. It a little off the freeway.... enough that the restrooms aren't trashed the pace is more local and the coffee and vibe is what you would expect in this little town. read more

Driving through this lovely town, my eye caught the Lost Coffee shop and I'm so happy I got my coffee fix here. Everyone is happy and helpful whilst staying true to the incredible 'chill' vibe. Time flew as I enjoyed my delicious dirty chai latte and veggie burrito. The WiFi is 10/10. For the clean freaks: yes, the toilets are clean. read more

Super cute place! The customer service was especially friendly and helpful. Being inherently indecisive, they were particularly patient and informative to my many questions (ie "wtheck is a piccolo?") + an assortment of other likely obvious and dull questions they hear X number of times a day. Regardless, again, they get a 10/10 on patience. Also, the coffee was SO good. I had the cold brew with oat milk and it had amazing flavor...robust and rich. Just...yum. I visited the Boulder location. Part of a food court. Coffee was average. Prices average. All around average. I think I was disappointed because I thought this was going to be more a traditional coffee house. I probably would have given this place two stars for the coffee and atmosphere, but the guy behind the counter was upbeat and friendly and pushed the rating to three stars! read more

Made a pit stop in the morning to grab a latte with the family. Originally everyone declined the offer for coffee when we parked. Once they tasted my vanilla oat latte, I had to buy 4 more cups because they enjoyed it so much. If you're looking a for a solid latte, this is the place to go. read more

I absolutely adore this shop! The staff is always energetic and helpful! There's something I love about a shop that hands you your cup of coffee without the lid. Unlike Starbucks, they have nothing to hide and actually fill your cup up! There is plenty of bright, sunshiney space to stay a while and work! I also love that they are completely local! WOW. Great walk to town for our 2 O'clock coffee tea time ~ warm welcome by smiling efficient baristas ~ husband has his fav mocha ~ I'm enjoying the house-made chai. Finally a Chai that tastes like tea w identified several spices (cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg) withOUT the list SUGAR. Refreshing List Coffee is worth the stop. if on I-25 and want need a great cup of coffee or tea PLUS right next door is the authentic French Bakery, another must stop!!! read more

Favorite coffee spot in town! They would have different specialty lattes, teas & coffees every other month or so and it was wonderful trying their unique specials! For vegans, they have milk substitutes for any of the coffees! Also, if you love coffee, highly recommend becoming a rewards member - will save you money down the line! read more

I'm a huge fan of Lost Coffee. Was here just this morning. Mostly buy the small coffee. Sometimes pick up a large MachiChachi or a smoothie. Always great tasting, whatever I order. Prices are reasonable, baristas are warm and hard working, but what I like most is the flavor consistency. Always good, always quick. Great loyalty card system, too. Also, our church (Pathmakers) orders our coffee service through them. Been doing it for the last 3 years and couldn't be happier. Took "coffee in a box" for my office co-workers a few times and everyone loved it. I meet with people every week at Lost on Perry; great place to meet with one person or even a small group. Have worked using their wifi, too. And the kids love going in for a hot cocoa on a cold evening! Love the people, love the coffee, love the location! Sorry it only just today occurred to me to mention it. Keep up the great work! read more

I've only been to the Lost Coffee location in Castle Rock. It's in a super cute part of town and a great location. The staff are super friendly and will help you pick out a drink if you're indecisive like me . A great place to meet people for coffee or read a book. I am at lost three or four mornings a week. I actually choose it as my work location on Wednesday's. The staff is great and personable. The coffee is the best I've found in the area. They are always introducing new roasts and highlighting different beans. The atmosphere is welcoming and light. It is my go to coffee spot. read more

I got an Iced Chai Latte. It was not sweet at all and way too bitter. Had to toss it since we got it to go and left the area already. We also got a croissant. Would've like it to be heated up a little. Boyfriend's soy latte was okay. The interior is really pretty. read more

Fantastic local coffee shop in the heart of old town Castle Rock. The coffee is delicious and the ambiance inside is perfect for a meetup, studying, or reading. Seating came sometimes be at a premium but that is to be expected when an establishment is rocking it. They do offer sweets and savory treats. I just ended with a cake pop but would be interested in trying other items. The price of the coffee was about $13 including tip, my drink, and a cake pop. I think it's reasonable for the area and for what I received. They have a drive-through so if you are in a rush in the morning, it would be a very easy stop and they have a lot of seating space for people to work and converse. They also have these really cute swing chairs that I enjoyed. They have a rooftop bar and ample outside patio seating however it was really windy the day that I came so I stayed on the main floor. I tried their strawberry milk tea back in February when it was on the Valentine's Day menu, and it was SO good--I still think about it and really wish they'd bring it back! I wish they had more options for drinks though. The space itself is cozy and inviting, with spots to hang out with friends or even settle in with your laptop to get some work or studying done. There are several food vendors: a Bar at the top, a restaurant I've yet to visit alongside it, as well as several spots to eat downstairs. Downstairs they have : - A bagel spot (get there early for the best selection and don't be disappointed if they run out- that's what it means to have fresh baked daily!) - A great BBQ spot (this is coming from a KC native and BBQ critic!) - Apres coffee - a cute coffee shop with alternative milks and Italian sodas options. - A stuffed pita restaurant (I'm sorry I don't know the name!) - Gluttony and Graze, for salads and gourmet hot dogs and burgers - And don't sleep on the cute little kiosk to order Mexican food! I didn't get a chance to check it out, but it's next on my list to try! Though, please note all of these places have different operating hours - though you're mostly safe Wed-Sun.
