Latte and scones
Molli S.

Cute coffee shop in a convenient spot around downtown Castle Rock. (Next door to a bakery, so hop into the store next door for a fresh cinnamon role!) I always grab an oat milk latte if I'm going to grab some coffee, and this was pretty good. Though, even for a smaller size, it was a bit too milky for me. I prefer to taste a bit more of that espresso, personally, but it was still decent and better than a few other options I've had downtown. They have a few pastry options, and cold breakfast burritos from Kiowa. The burrito was great! Flavorful. Several spots to sit in and eat/drink, and a few cute bistro tables/chairs outside on the sidewalk. The one thing missing for me was the service/hospitality. The staff couldn't be bothered to respond to a thank-you, and the demeanor was just a bit strange overall for a customer service role. They were happy to chat amongst each other, though. Maybe it was just an off day, so who knows, we might try again. Overall, I'd recommend giving it a shot.

Hot Spicy Chai Latte, Iced Vanilla Latte and Lemon Poppyseed Scone
Hannah F.

We recently tried the Castle Rock location after having a good experience at the Highlands Ranch location last year. Overall they have really good coffee and yummy food. This location has plenty of seating and cute decor. We tried the breakfast burritos and they were delicious. The lemon poppyseed scone was good too. The spicy chai was definetly spicy but not in the way that I was expecting. Instead of a stronger traditional spiciness associated with chai (such as cloves, cinnamon, etc) there was an unpleasant burning flavor/sensation in the back of my throat after I swallowed each sip - almost like a cayenne or something. It ruined the whole drink and now I know to avoid the spicy chai and I will just opt for a regular chai next time. My husband enjoyed his iced vanilla latte. Make sure you go early on the weekends otherwise there will be a line out the door and they will be sold out of burritos and pastries.

I tried this cute little shop based on the yelp reviews and loved it. The cafe was bright and clean and my server was cheerful in addition to being super helpful. I got a matcha latte and a raspberry pastry and both were very tasty. I would definitely suggest giving this shop a try.

This coffee shop is truly a local gem! They offer a variety of unique latte flavors, and I absolutely loved the sourdough chocolate chip cookie -- highly recommend it (not too sweet, with a tad salty)! We also got the black sesame latte and spicy chai. Both drinks had strong flavor profiles, the spicy chai lives truly up to its name - spicy (however we loved it). I also ask to have less sesame in my latte to tone down the sweetness and for me, the drinks were great no complaints. The staff was incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions about the drinks. There are multiple seating options, with both low and high chairs, making it a comfortable spot to hang out or work.

The parking lot in the back...

I visited this coffee shop today for the first time. The location was somewhat convenient in downtown Castle Rock, CO, there was adequate parking (although I could barely find a place to park in the rather large parking lot on the side of the shop and in the back), the outside of the shop was not decorated in any interesting way, I was greeted upon entering, the front counter looked quite attractive and interesting and the employees looked fairly friendly, the shop was average size, had some interesting decorations on the wall, etc., was clean, and had an average amount of seating (not sure if there was an upstairs), my (food) lunch item was delicious, service was really good, my coffee was excellent, and the free WiFi worked well with a password.

Pretty hip, clean coffee shop. My bf and I stopped by after seeing how cute their holiday specials looked online. We parked in the lot behind the main street-- a bit cramped and difficult to maneuver, but it's free so whatever LOL. LostCoffee is right on the corner of Perry and Fourth. TEA LATTE (jade cloud, oat milk + honey): Don't see this type of green tea often! Their blend is more milk-heavy but still very silky and herbal. EGGNOG LATTE (oat milk): Tastes just like eggnog. Not for me, but my bf said this was one of the best lattes he's ever had ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Interior is very modern, minimalistic. Staff are super peppy and kind, and drinks come out quickly. One thing I wish they had would be coffee sleeves since their drinks come out REALLY hot, but otherwise impressed by this spot. Note: checking in gets you a free shot of espresso! And happy hour is from 3 pm - 5 pm daily.

I wasn't too impressed with the establishment, but the coffee was okay! I tried their seasonal Candy Cane Iced Latte. I liked that it wasn't very sweet but it had a very mild peppermint taste. We did have to wait a bit for our coffee, but they seemed to have their hands full with orders and not many machines to work with so they did the best they could! I didn't like that their menu didn't show any of their prices. One day I'll be able to buy what I want without having to worry about cost, but for now I'm a girl balling on a budget and would benefit from comparing prices. Parking - there is a lot around back! If it's full there's street parking available too. Not going to lie, we drove through the parking lot out back a couple times until someone left!

I wasn't overly impressed with this location. Coffee was just ok and the staff was blah. Plus parking is a nightmare. I would like to try another location to see if they're any better. I think it has great potential! Just wasn't showing on the day I went.

I worked here with my coworker and it was a great spot. The area is large with outside seating along with inside and a 'bar' counter area. There's plenty of plugs for working and free Wi-Fi. I loved the large windows overlooking the street in downtown Castle Rock. I got a seasonal coffee with lavender and it was delicious. Their ham and cheese croissant was also delicious. It was warmed up to the perfect temp to make the cheese runny

I was in the area on a work trip and my boss wanted to drive through Castle Rock (she used to live in the area). We came upon LostCoffee and decided to stop in. It was a BUSY local coffee shop but was super cute and was good! I ordered a basic vanilla iced latte but it was by far one of the BEST I've ever had. Most places have a bitter coffee so I have to cut that with sweetener, NOT the case with LostCoffee. The way I ordered it was PERFECT!

Located in downtown Castle Rock, LostCoffee is a cute little coffee shop marked by the black and green little "LC" flag. It is connected to a cute local bakery/cupcake shop next door. A quick glance at the menu and I knew I had to try the maple cinnamon latte with oat milk! I wish I had realized that the cute little toasted marshmallow skewer was a $1.50 extra (barista did not mention it although it is on the bottom of the "specials" page) because I wouldn't have gotten it but at least it made for an aesthetic pic! The latte was creamy and smooth and the cinnamon flavor was prevalent enough to add an kick to the latte! Definitely would recommend making a trip to this cute local coffee shop!

First time visiting. The staff were friendly and the menu was diverse. We order a pumpkin latte, green tea and two iced coffees. Also a chocolate croissant. All the drinks we ordered were served fairly quickly, we found each to be enjoyable. Unfortunately, the chocolate was forgotten by the staff. We had to ask for it as it was left in the oven/microwave. The good news is it was still warm and very tasty. Overall it is well worth your time to visit. The parking is fairly limited, the interior seating was a little uncomfortable, when compared to most coffee houses. Also the in stock coffee was fairly diverse, but had a limited amount of stock for purchase.

I need to come here more! Such a cute, local coffee shop! They finally have some gluten free snacks so I grabbed a strawberry bread to go along with my oat milk latte! Both were delicious!

It was a little out of the way in terms of the normal hustle and bustle of Castle Rock as it's not near the outlets or Main Street, but I'm actually really glad that I did stop by because this space is so beautifully decorated and has such a welcoming feel that it made the drive worth it. Because I had been on the road for a while, I did have to use the restroom when I first arrived and I'm happy to say they were extremely clean and they had a changing table. They're definitely welcoming to littles as I did see a few kids under five so thank you for considering families. They have a very large menu that's contains coffee and coffee based beverages as well as some Italia sodas and some energy infused Red Bull drinks, smoothies and non coffee drinks. I asked the barista for a recommendation and she told me to try the maple bar, which was a white mocha with maple and I'm happy to say it is fantastic. I would order it again. They do offer sweets and savory treats. I just ended with a cake pop but would be interested in trying other items. The price of the coffee was about $13 including tip, my drink, and a cake pop. I think it's reasonable for the area and for what I received. They have a drive-through so if you are in a rush in the morning, it would be a very easy stop and they have a lot of seating space for people to work and converse. They also have these really cute swing chairs that I enjoyed. They have a rooftop bar and ample outside patio seating however it was really windy the day that I came so I stayed on the main floor. The only thing that would make the space better is if they had some sort of couch or relaxed seating. I was looking for something a little cozier than metal chairs I would recommend this place as a cute date, meet up spot, a place to hang with friends, or a place to work. I will definitely be back.

Downstairs they have : - A bagel spot (get there early for the best selection and don't be disappointed if they run out- that's what it means to have fresh baked daily!) - A great BBQ spot (this is coming from a KC native and BBQ critic!) - Apres coffee - a cute coffee shop with alternative milks and Italian sodas options. - A stuffed pita restaurant (I'm sorry I don't know the name!) - Gluttony and Graze, for salads and gourmet hot dogs and burgers - And don't sleep on the cute little kiosk to order Mexican food! I didn't get a chance to check it out, but it's next on my list to try! Though, please note all of these places have different operating hours - though you're mostly safe Wed-Sun.
