The Exchange Coffee House in Castle Pines is one of those places that just feels good to be in. The coffee is always amazing (seriously, I've never had a bad drink there), but it's more than that--it's the atmosphere, the kindness of the staff, and the attention to detail throughout the space. One of my favorite parts is the adorable children's area. As a mom, it means everything to be able to sip a latte while my toddler is happily flipping through books or playing with the little toys they've set out. It's such a thoughtful touch, and you can tell this place was built with community in mind. Whether I'm meeting a friend, getting a moment of quiet, or bringing my little one along, The Exchange always delivers. It's become a really special part of our routine. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Love the ambiance of this place but it can be hard to find a good spot when it's cold outside. Sometimes the drinks take a little bit longer than expected and the food is good but a little pricey. I do wish the toast options were a little bigger for the price.

Wow, I can't believe this spot has been open 3 years and we only found it now! Such a quiet hidden gem.. highlights for us: - Breakfast "all day" burrito Super delish - lavender cardamom latte (subbed with oat milk) - vibes in the patio were perfect on a hot summer day - plenty of seating inside - on this particular Sunday they were hosting "music and mimosas" which we hope to join another time - coloring area for kids: THANK YOU to the staff for putting this here... you know how to make a parent's day - Bathrooms were very clean, unisex, and had a changing table My only constructive feedback is on the avocado toast.. didn't feel super fresh and could have used more salt flakes. Definitely worth a visit!!

This place has been on my radar since moving to the area. Today was a great opportunity to visit! I love how this coffee house is nestled in a housing community. It's off the beaten path and not located within a strip mall. As you sit inside this place, the views are wonderful and plenty of natural light pours in from many bay windows. There is also plenty of seating. They have various tables, chairs, couches and other comfy chairs to sit in. They offer a nice menu that features various coffee beverages, good options and a nice dinner, beer and wine menu. I opted for a 16 ounce drip coffee. What I liked about their coffee is that I didn't need any cream in it. I drank it black and it was really good! They have two couches that are back to back. One of the couches faces a beautiful gas fireplace. It was off today. Too bad because it was the ideal day to have it on. The other couch faces the main seating area. In front of this couch are two tables. I didn't like sitting on the couch with two tables in front of it. It's not a good couch to use for table seating. When you sit in the couch, it sinks too low and the level of the table is an awkward height for eating food or using your laptop. Especially using your laptop. The good thing is, the tables in front of the couch have chairs on the other side. You can grab one of the couch pillows and put it on the back of their chair for nice back support. They had a beautiful Christmas tree in a nice cove that features seating and beautiful bay windows. I noticed that another Yelp reviewer commented that this place feels like a hotel lobby. I agree with him. However, I like it because of the different feel over other coffee shops. This is a great place to meet friends or family. It's also great to ride solo; to read a book, write or work on your laptop. Overall, I enjoyed my visit here. I would love to return. I recommend checking this place out if you haven't already. It's a nice gem off the beaten path!

Ok. This came up on my list and I decided to go here. I just got an espresso. It has a full body and richness to it. This is actually a cool place off the path. The view is nice of the castle pine hills and it's nestled into a new housing community. The food looked good but wasn't hungry at the time. Very roomie and great for children and groups. The staff was consistently cleaning and making sure the turnover was great. Overall, I'll be back. It's a cool spot that is fresh and unique!

First time here today and I was really impressed, decor is modern and stylish, vibe is super chill. Plenty of places to sit, inside and out. Food was good too. I didn't have coffee this time but I will definitely go again!

Very chip & jo cookie cutter. If you know, you know. But that's not necessarily bad. Bring the farmhouse aesthetic, and you'll find southern hospitality and good coffee. The service was great, and everyone who worked there seemed genuinely happy about their day. My americano was served excruciatingly hot. But once cooled (lid removal imperative), it had a marvelous flavor. My date indulged in a vanilla latte, which was pretty good. This isn't the place where you'll find homemade syrups, but the execution is still decent. But again, excruciatingly hot. WiFi is excellent, especially download speed, and there's plenty of seating. It's really a great place to sit and get some work done. While I didn't take part in food, I sort of wish I did. It looked good! Til next time, I suppose.

Grabbed a seasonal iced latte - vanilla lavender and an iced mocha. Both were made very well. Also got an avocado toast with cranberries, feta and an egg for a quick bite. The toast was a little expensive for what it was but it satisfied a peckish me so not complaining much. Beautiful day, so got to enjoy the sun and sit outdoors. Super friendly service too! The seating options are plentiful, varied for different activities and incredibly well designed! Will definitely be back. They also have a punch card so grab those coffees and then get yourself a free one!

What a quaint adorable place to meet people and just hang out. It is bright and airy, well decorated, and busy! Our family came after church on a Sunday and ordered four breakfast burritos and four drinks. This place would have received four stars but for the wait for the burritos (almost 30 min!). But we weren't in a hurry and we enjoyed just hanging out together. Service was good but not amazing and food and drink was just okay. I can't wait to come back and try the wine and apps in the afternoon sometime.

The Exchange Coffee house is located in the Canyons community, and it's for sure a hidden gem! It's very spacious (inside and outside), and I absolutely loved the decor. Can definitely see myself spending quite a bit of time here as there are plenty of quiet corners for someone who is trying to work/study as well as common areas for bigger groups with a fireplace and large tables. Coffee was delightful, and it's definitely one of my new favorite places!

I'll be the one not giving this spot 5 stars unfortunately... Yes, the atmosphere is nice - great spot to meet up with friends, sit and relax, or get some work/reading done. Really feels like a hotel lobby to be honest so... To me that's not a coffee shop vibe but serves the purpose and some might enjoye it, plus tons of seating available which is important to a lot of people. Though if this is a coffee shop I will be rating them mostly on their drinks and the one drink I had here, a steamer, has been a huge disappointment. Which, really, shouldn't be too hard to make since it's just steamed milk and flavoring... The first time it came out it wasn't even hot. Calling it luke warm would've been generous and it tasted just like milk (I'd asked for lavendar flavor). They reheated it and said added an additional pump of syrup. Drink comes back - now luke warm, maybe, and again tasting like milk only. I've had lavendar steamers in a lot of coffee shops and this was just not even close to being satisfying. I gave up and ordered a Chai latte instead which sucks cause I wanted a drink without caffeine, hence a lame steamer, but figured this shouldn't have too much caffeine at least. Tasted like milk, barely any flavor. Also had their coffee and it was... OK. Nothing wrong with it, but not good. All in all, this is more of a meet up, work spot and the coffee/beverages they have seems to just be incidental. They do have food too though which is very nice. Had the almost toast and it was not bad at all. Definitely very nice to have more "fresh" food options vs just pastry as you have in most other coffee shops.

Sun shines right in the face of customers. If only they could figure out blinds

Rude baristas. Glade plug in smell ruins the coffee house vibe. When I'm at a coffee house I like smelling coffee not chemical flowers.

The burrito was OK but the frozen ones I have at home from Evol is actually better and larger. Grilled cheese was OK but just that. My coffee was good as was the smoothie but I do not understand how they did not come out first.

The food was delicious, service was quick and friendly, and you can tell the staff cares about what they're doing -- something that's hard to find in the restaurant industry. Some of the negative reviews feel like they come from people who don't understand how busy breakfast/brunch spots operate. This is a lovely, casual spot with great flavor and a welcoming vibe. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to friends looking for a tasty breakfast or lunch.

An Inexperienced host and non-empathetic staff can hurt your business:…read moreMy wife and I finally had all 4 of our kids home together this weekend and we were excited to catch up over Sunday breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants. Seeing Zero on the App wait list, we arrived at 9:30am, with just a few people in the lobby area, we thought we'll be stared soon. They asked us to wait for a table to be ready. Over the next 1/2 hr, the lobby stared to fill up and we watched tables of 2 and 3 go right past us, one after another. By 10:20am, we were standing next to a few newly arrived parties of 5 and 6. Hungry and frustrated, we asked if they could push 2, tables together to seat us, we were promptly told No. But they can separate us. By 10:30, we were hopeful, but a bit 'hangry', then they seated a table of 5 that entered around 10:10... we walked out after an hour of waiting. My wife was upset and crying in the car. We decided to go home to make breakfast. Before the kids leave the next day, we'd try again at a different restaurant. The food and service have always been great here! I can understand having new, inexperienced staff at a busy restaurant can be challenging, but unfortunately, this experience will leave a bad taste for a while.
