An Inexperienced host and non-empathetic staff can hurt your business: My wife and I finally had all 4 of our kids home together this weekend and we were excited to catch up over Sunday breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants. Seeing Zero on the App wait list, we arrived at 9:30am, with just a few people in the lobby area, we thought we'll be stared soon. They asked us to wait for a table to be ready. Over the next 1/2 hr, the lobby stared to fill up and we watched tables of 2 and 3 go right past us, one after another. By 10:20am, we were standing next to a few newly arrived parties of 5 and 6. Hungry and frustrated, we asked if they could push 2, tables together to seat us, we were promptly told No. But they can separate us. By 10:30, we were hopeful, but a bit 'hangry', then they seated a table of 5 that entered around 10:10... we walked out after an hour of waiting. My wife was upset and crying in the car. We decided to go home to make breakfast. Before the kids leave the next day, we'd try again at a different restaurant. The food and service have always been great here! I can understand having new, inexperienced staff at a busy restaurant can be challenging, but unfortunately, this experience will leave a bad taste for a while. read more

A bit dissatisfied today as the food let me down I requested my corned beef hash well done and it was the exact opposite and mushy. I didn't eat it. Waitress offered to have it redone but of the 4 people at my table mine was the last to arrive by 5 plus minutes. I chose not to wait to have it redone. Stopped by with High hopes and repeat of great food from last visit. We'll. That didn't go too well. We got seated promptly and drinks brought over to wake my soul up. Well. All went well till the food showed up. Presentation of biscuits and gravy was perfect. However, it was very bland. I added some salt in hopes of making it taste better. That didn't work. I added some peppers but that didn't help either. My hot date said her salad looked very abused. See photo. Looked very old and rotten. Not good. When the server showed up, she apologized and replaced with fruit cup which was nice gesture. At this time, our hostess steps out of the kitchen munching on toast or bagel. Nice! We loved our brunch here last week! It was busy but we were seated quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I felt the prices were fair for the large portions. My friends come here a lot. They bring the parents, one of whom has challenges with Alzheimer's. The main reason I give five stars to this establishment is that Suzie (not sure of correct spelling) and her staff treat the mother with respect. They listen to her patiently and treat her like family. So many people are impatient these days that this kindness should be recognized. The food is not the draw for me. But Suzie and our server Mackenzie are friendly and personable. They checked on us and chatted with my friends, asking about the parents. I can get a meal anywhere but the service is special. The bacon avocado scramble I had was good. Fresh avocado and the potatoes not greasy. The homemade pork green chile was average. The English muffin toasted just right. This is located in a strip mall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday morning. Just like Denny's back in the day, they leave a container of coffee on your table (if you order coffee). I like that. I ordered the Bacon Avocado Scramble which was very good. It comes with seasoned potatoes, toast and a small portion of green chile. It was plenty of food for me. I'm visiting from out of town and my friend told me to try the green chile. Second time here. As I said I would from my first visit, I tried the banana bread French toast, and it was as good as I thought it'd be. Getting the option to add it with eggs, sausage, and potatoes was a great meal. One daughter had this same dish with bacon and also liked it. The other daughter wasn't as impressed with her corned beef hash skillet. It was really just corned beef hash with eggs. She did pay the extra couple of bucks to replace her toast with banana bread French toast, so that was a handy hack. My wife again got the Denver omelette without meat. She added guacamole, thinking it was avocado, but realized later she probably shouldn't have bothered. Veggies were also a bit too crunchy for her. Super cute restaurant with tons of options. We stopped in for a quick brunch recently and were delighted to find an expansive patio and menu with tons of options for any taste. The server was wonderful, she was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The food was good, I was craving pancakes and these definitely hit the spot. We stopped by here on a Sunday morning while we were in the area and got lucky with the timing in that our party of 3 walked in and were seated right away. All of the staff were friendly and service was attentive. Overall, the place was full inside and largely occupied on the patio. While we were here, the place filled up and a line started. Apparently, it is a popular place. The menu is quite extensive with breakfast food: standards like biscuits and gravy, chicken-fried steak, pancakes, eggs Benedict and French toast, though quite a few twists like French toast made with a cinnamon roll. I had the chicken-fried steak and it was a generous portion, served with a side of potatoes and a biscuit that was also under the gravy-blanket. It was plenty to keep me going for the rest of the day. The steak was breaded and cooked well and the gravy was creamy with a good flavor that didn't overpower the steak. The accompanying potatoes were OK, but nothing really special. The biscuit was not dry and had just the right amount of gravy on it. It may be on the pricier side of breakfast, but I'd still come back if I were in the area since it is a clean, comfortable spot with good coffee , good service and generous portions. Just be mindful of the weather and aware that there is not much space inside if there is a wait. read more

When she went by me the third time while attending other tables, I flagged down a woman who seemed to work there (early 40s brunette) who was doing laps around the restaurant with her head in the clouds. I asked if she worked there and if I could get some service, immediately I was met with a condescending, "your server is at other tables, she will be with you in a second". The line was long BUT the wait was very short. So when you drive up and see a long line don't worry it's about a 5 minute wait which gives you time to review the menu. Once seated we were greeted by our waitress Mackenzie with a delightful smile and happy energy. We placed our order which was the Classic Benedict and the Crab Cake Benedict. We are here for the first time this morning with out of town guests. We all left very disappointed overall. I split the avocado toast and biscuits and gravy. Both were very cold. The avocado was sour from lemon and egg was overcooked. The biscuit was extremely dense but again, it was cold. The food was below average. But what really took the cake was the extremely rude staff. As we got up from the table my three year old, stood right by our table. A waitress came by and ran in to you, pumping her head into the table. She looked back at my daughter with a dirty look and huffed. She continued on into the back without a care in the world. We will not be returning. The huge cinnamon roll is the star of the show along with the tequila sunrise. Highly recommend you partner that with ANY of their chicken fried steak meals. They offer it a few different ways and I love the skillet version but I'd eat it any way they serve it. It's so crispy and has so much flavor. 10/10 do recommend. I don't recommend the grits as they were sloppy and not smooth and creamy and they had zero taste. The biscuits and gravy were HUGE. Hard to beat the lunch I had here today--1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad for $9.99. The salad I chose was the Half Cobb, and it was perfect with plenty of the expected ingredients (chicken, crisp bacon, avocado, full hard boiled egg, blue cheese crumbles). The chicken salad sandwich was also superb--with enough chicken salad to fill a full sandwich. Delicious Service was prompt and courteous (sorry I neglected to get the server's name). This place is busy but not overly noisy, and outside seating under umbrellas is prized. My only issue here is with parking--the lot is truly too small to accommodate all the businesses that share it, spaces are cramped, and there's only one handicapped spot, which I almost never get. This is not B&B's fault, but it does keep me from eating here as often as I'd truly enjoy. read more

Been here twice now and both times were pretty good. First time I got the biscuits and gravy with egg. I liked the gravy it just need a little something (not sure what). The 2nd time I got the quiche called something Lola I think and it was bit overcooked and chewy than I like my quiches. They have mimosas and coffee bar. It's very loud inside and This place stays pretty busy everytime I've gone on weekend. Only have had to wait 15-20 min but parties larger than 4 people I can tell it backs them up. I was drawn to B&B Eatery from a Yelp photo of an amazing looking Key Lime waffles, but when we arrived they did not have these unfortunately. This was not a factor in my review though. It was a pretty busy Sunday brunch for us and the staff at B&B sat us right away which was surprising to us since we expected to have a wait. Our server was prompt to greet us and take our drink order as well so the service was great. The food itself was very mediocre though. It came out very quickly but everything was only Luke-warm. Everything was overcooked as well, the eggs and the steak both were pretty tough and rubbery. From a flavor standpoint I felt everything was pretty bland too. When it came to the cost of the meal I would say that B&B has a slightly above average cost, but nothing that was outrageously overpriced, but given the quality of the food on our visit not worth the price either. The manager went above and beyond to make sure that my staff was able to be accommodated and for that I'm super appreciative If time is a factor, this may not be the best fit. I have been here once. It was fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. My girlfriend and I came on a Monday morning around 9:30. The service was top notch. Our waitress was on top of anything and everything we needed. It appears that they take care of customers as a group. We had a couple different waitresses help us take care of drink top offs, and cleaning up empty plates. They're a good crew. We started out the meal with a cinnamon roll. Wow. What a delicious decision it was! It is by far, the best cinnamon roll I've had in years... possibly ever. The roll was unbelievably fresh: the glaze was creamy and fully flavored. We both LOVED it. For our main course, I ordered the chicken and waffles, but I subbed in a pumpkin pecan waffle. That was a wombo combo right there. The crunch from the pecans was a good decision for this. It was a great texture and great tastes. I give it a 9/10. My girlfriend was too full from the cinnamon roll to enjoy her meal, so I'll save the review on that for now. They have a big menu with lots of unique and enticing items, which made it very hard to decide on what to eat. I opted for the Full Plate, which I got with two poached eggs, 1 slice of bacon and piece of sausage, fruit, and banana bread french toast. I loved that they easily let me get 1/2 bacon and 1/2 sausage and sub fruit for the potatoes. All was cooked perfectly, delivered quickly, and the banana bread french toast was out of this world delicious! This restaurant has a great local vibe with lots of room. Our server, Breyawna, always had a smile on her face and made sure to keep my coffee filled (with very good coffee btw). The prices are fair and there are many other items that I want to try ( 12 unique benedicts that all sound amazing), so I will be back here as soon as I can! read more
