My Veggie Avocado Whole Sandwich with Crispy Bacon Add On on Focaccia Bread
    Rika M.

I was quite surprised and impressed with the sandwich I ordered from Kneaders on Mainstreet today so I must write about it. It was between my side gig shifts where I didn't have the luxury of going home to eat. During the 2-hour break, efficiently using that time was crucial so I went here to get me some easy to consume. I also remembered that I had some sort of credit (bday or rewards balance); I needed to use that before it expired. Placing an order on their website was no problem. Easy to understand process where I was able to add on or modify to tailor to my needs for the perfect sandwich I'd want for my stomach. I went with the Veggie sandwich with add on of crispy bacon strips and to replace the provolone with swiss. On the focaccia bread sounded really good. I was able to claim the reward at the checkout process. Once placed, it said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I know I stepped inside the restaurant less than the promised timeframe and yet upon asked the young lady upfront, the guy in the kitchen who made my sandwich told her it had already been made and that it was in a clear plastic container. Wow, the service was prompt and on time. As soon as I returned to my car, I started savoring my good looking sandwich and oh boy, it was quite delicious. The focaccia bread tasted like it had been made recently, all the ingredients (the slices of tomato, avocado, lettuce leaves and red onion as well as the Kneaders sauce) were so fresh where nothing was brown or tasted old. This experience exceeded my expectations. Their prices are not so hard hit by the uprising of the cost of living where I only paid less than $8 after the reward. Not bad!! The store inside was clean (I have never found any of the locations of Kneaders I've been to before dirty ever. This was one surprisingly pleasant experience at place where people usually don't give them great reviews.

Paid $7 for 1/2 a piece of sorry looking cheese cake....exchanged it for equally sorry looking brownie. Paid $17 for my meal with a stale baguette. Soup was decent. So not impressed. Employee was sweeping the floor and went to dish my food without washing.... had to remind them to wash their hands. Not a good experience at all.

We ordered delivery and had a very positive experience. Will definitely order again! We had raspberry croissant , very good. Sweet but not too sweet! Sausage and egg croissant was also delicious. Cinnamon roll was fresh and soft, very impressed! Lastly we ordered the club combo + chips, pastry and drink. Club with a couple alterations. Replaced ham with bacon + extra bacon. Replaced kneaded sauce with mayo. The sourdough was very fresh and

What a ripoff . $14 for bread and a table spoon of meat. Also the soup tastes burnt and old.

    Chunky Cinnamon French Toast (take-out)

I get it now! I've heard for years that Kneaders makes a delicious French toast, but they simply haven't been on my radar for breakfast. Today that changed. I received an email touting a special $3 offer for French toast, today only, and I bit. Chunky Cinnamon French Toast is 2 hand-sliced, thick (1") pieces. (I ate only one immediately, saving the other to eat later at room temperature. Still wonderful!) It's served with sliced ripe, fresh strawberries and a nice-sized dollop of whipped cream, as well as warm, buttery, maple-y syrup. Even eating it in my car, I loved it. I ordered a side of bacon ($1.50) that was crisp and perfect. All-in-all, I was pleased and impressed. This location has a small immediate parking lot (although there is much parking close by around other stores) and it was full. Since I'm using a walker right now, I thought the drive-thru the best choice. Even with a 10-minute wait due to the special offer, the food was served hot and delicious. The cashier at the window was friendly and efficient. I'll order it again, and cheerfully pay regular price.

What happened to this bakery? Everytime I walk in here to get stuff their always out of everything!? 1. Dinner rolls are always sold out by 10 am-- with no given time of when they can replenish-- they just tell you we're out. , 2. The breakfast loaves use to have a variety and now , it's usually just one flavor with 3 loaves in the shelf. -- are you really that busy? By 10 -am on a Monday? Or do you need to hire more staff to cater to the community? The fresh bread area actually lacks fresh bread. I wound complain if it's like this once in a while but 2-3 times a week by 10 am the shelves are empty. To try and be my owns devils advocate we came here for breakfast on the weekend and the shelves are still empty!!!! -- it's freaking 8 am!!!! What is happening? Lol I just laughed, such a disappointment --- so, I started going to the Kneaders in castle rock and they have their shelves full all the time and will tell you when the next batch will be ready if they have something not in the display area. Just thought I would share as it wasn't like this last year... if your looking for a good bakery that has everything stocked all the time and keep with the demand-- try the castle rock location. The location in Parker seems to be struggling. One upside, the service is nice, people are pleasant to work with despite of the lack of baked goods.

    Bottomless French Toast

The best continental type breakfast that you'll find. If you want home cooked, look elsewhere. But if you want good bakery items or breakfast that includes unlimited French Toast with strawberries, cream, and Carmel drizzle, then this is your place. It's also a great place to avoid having to do the actual baking by getting your pastries and pies to go

    Chicken and pecan pumpkin waffles.

Kenzie was amazing, punctual, and great customer service awareness. The cinnamon roll was the best we've had in along time; and they are made fresh in house daily. The sweet potato scramble was amazing and loved the Irish coffee and they make it for the Irish ;) nice and strong. Great fresh food, friendly atmosphere, and amazing company.

    A raspberry "croissant"
    Julio R.

We ordered online. They were out of the Almond Croissants (the online picture for the almond one showed a proper croissant, the raspberry didn't have a photo), so we ended up getting two raspberry ones. Their Raspberry Croissants are NOT croissants, they're bear claws made with puff pastry dough, not flaky/layered croissant dough. Being deceived like this by restaurants is a huge pet peeve of mine lol. Also, the kitchen looked unorganized when I was waiting for me order, and they seemed to have a lot of new people. The foods not bad, but I won't be coming back. --Julio Pinchespendejadas

Sad turkey (supposed to be extra turkey) bacon avocado salad
    Melissa M.

I've ordered soup bowls from Kneaders before and they were decent. I had a long busy week and today (Friday) and ordered a salad from Kneaders - the turkey bacon avo salad + ordered EXTRA TURKEY...the pic says it all. :( I'm very salad + also still hungry. No more Kneaders for me.

Ask the Community - Kneaders Bakery & Cafe

Hello- does anyone know if they have Gluten free menu/options or can accommodate? Thank you in advance!?

They do have a menu- that has about 4 things on it. Unfortunately, we had to ask the girl serving us several times to allow us to see the laminated menu that they have one copy of behind the counter. They obviously do not enjoy serving gluten free:/

I'd like to say first that our server was super nice! She checked on us often and had great service the entire time. We ordered fries which came with a smoked aioli that was really good & ketchup. Chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. The chicken tenders were crispy but the meat was a bit tough to bite off and generally could have used some seasoning. We also got the Brussels sprouts w/out bacon and those were good! I did attempt to order a beer (cider) off the menu they had but was informed it hasn't been updated in a while so they didn't have it. The waitress did offer to let me try whichever other ones I wanted to find one i'd like but I ended up passing overall. Prices were on the higher side.

We understand they're probably still working through some challenges since this was only their second night back. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The restaurant's posted closing time is 10:00 p.m., but around 9:37 p.m. the lights were shut off while we were still dining, which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. To make matters worse, our waitress disappeared for the last 30-40 minutes of our meal. We never saw her again to check on us, refill drinks, or bring our check. We ended up having to get the hostess to help us so we could pay and leave. We genuinely wanted to support the restaurant and hope this was just part of the growing pains of reopening. However, if the kitchen or dining room needs to close earlier during this period, it would be much better to communicate that to customers rather than making guests feel rushed out before the posted closing time. We truly hope things improve because we've enjoyed coming here in the past and want to continue supporting the restaurant.
