I ordered a tuna melt combo and received what was basically three pieces of bread stacked with two slices of cheese. By the time i realized that there was no tuna, i had already eaten a few bites. Honestly I love this place and have come here for breakfast and lunch. Sadly the one close to us closed so we can't go as often but we have tried many items from this location and mostly everything has been very good. their French toast especially the Pumpkin Cream is to die for in my own opinion but the regular one is just as good. Hands down my favorite sandwich from them for lunch is their grilled cheese. I will happily drive out of my way to come and get it because I have never had one like it. I was quite surprised and impressed with the sandwich I ordered from Kneaders on Mainstreet today so I must write about it. It was between my side gig shifts where I didn't have the luxury of going home to eat. During the 2-hour break, efficiently using that time was crucial so I went here to get me some easy to consume. I also remembered that I had some sort of credit (bday or rewards balance); I needed to use that before it expired. Placing an order on their website was no problem. Easy to understand process where I was able to add on or modify to tailor to my needs for the perfect sandwich I'd want for my stomach. I went with the Veggie sandwich with add on of crispy bacon strips and to replace the provolone with swiss. On the focaccia bread sounded really good. I was able to claim the reward at the checkout process. Once placed, it said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I know I stepped inside the restaurant less than the promised timeframe and yet upon asked the young lady upfront, the guy in the kitchen who made my sandwich told her it had already been made and that it was in a clear plastic container. Wow, the service was prompt and on time. As soon as I returned to my car, I started savoring my good looking sandwich and oh boy, it was quite delicious. The focaccia bread tasted like it had been made recently, all the ingredients (the slices of tomato, avocado, lettuce leaves and red onion as well as the Kneaders sauce) were so fresh where nothing was brown or tasted old. This experience exceeded my expectations. Their prices are not so hard hit by the uprising of the cost of living where I only paid less than $8 after the reward. Not bad!! The store inside was clean (I have never found any of the locations of Kneaders I've been to before dirty ever. I get it now! I've heard for years that Kneaders makes a delicious French toast, but they simply haven't been on my radar for breakfast. Today that changed. I received an email touting a special $3 offer for French toast, today only, and I bit. Chunky Cinnamon French Toast is 2 hand-sliced, thick (1") pieces. (I ate only one immediately, saving the other to eat later at room temperature. Still wonderful!) It's served with sliced ripe, fresh strawberries and a nice-sized dollop of whipped cream, as well as warm, buttery, maple-y syrup. Even eating it in my car, I loved it. I ordered a side of bacon ($1.50) that was crisp and perfect. All-in-all, I was pleased and impressed. This location has a small immediate parking lot (although there is much parking close by around other stores) and it was full. Since I'm using a walker right now, I thought the drive-thru the best choice. Even with a 10-minute wait due to the special offer, the food was served hot and delicious. The breakfast loaves use to have a variety and now , it's usually just one flavor with 3 loaves in the shelf. -- are you really that busy? By 10 -am on a Monday? Or do you need to hire more staff to cater to the community? The fresh bread area actually lacks fresh bread. I wound complain if it's like this once in a while but 2-3 times a week by 10 am the shelves are empty. To try and be my owns devils advocate we came here for breakfast on the weekend and the shelves are still empty!!!! -- it's freaking 8 am!!!! What is happening? Lol I just laughed, such a disappointment --- so, I started going to the Kneaders in castle rock and they have their shelves full all the time and will tell you when the next batch will be ready if they have something not in the display area. This Kneaders used to be fantastic. I am so sad that it has gone downhill in the past year or so. If you are going here for soup, it tastes great and is warm. That is what has been very good about my past few visits. Unfortunately, there are so many other issues that I won't return for quite some time. The main issues are that the sandwiches consist mainly of bread and hardly any protein/filling and the food takes a very very long time to arrive. You can wait 30 minutes for them to prepare a sandwich and bring you baked goods that have already been prepared before you arrived (like cookies and eclairs). Then, they'll get your order wrong and leave some items off altogether. When you go back to ask for your missing avocado slices or salad dressing, they say they'll bring them to you, but they never do. You used to buy orange juice and the cups were filled to the top. Now, they're filled up about 80% of the way. OK, maybe they don't want you to spill. You let that go. I have the Kneaders app on my phone and I get rewards from time to time. However, on the app, many times you can only redeem rewards if you order ahead online. You order ahead, pay for your food with your credit card, and then get to the restaurant and they are out of half of the items that you ordered. They replace those items with breads, soups and other items that you didn't really want, but they have never offered to refund my money. Finally, this restaurant used to be toasty and warm inside. The gas fireplace has been off every time I've been there lately and it was so bone-chilling inside the restaurant that all the patrons had to wear their winter jackets while seated at their tables. read more

The food is pretty good for the price if dining in, and we buy all our bread for home from here (the sourdough is the best we've found in Parker so far). The staff is friendly (although we've had a couple questionably hygiene experiences including the checkout person sneezing into the open air with no effort of covering it while also wearing gloves to handle the machine and cash, then touching our food). A couple times now they've offered us a free loaf of bread with our order which is both nice and encouraging that they're only selling fresh bread. Avoid the drive-thru at all cost though, unless you want to sit and wait for your order forever, just go into the store. The drive-thru really needs a system where you order and pull around to the front to wait, but instead you have to wait for them to make and deliver the entire meal for everyone in front of you. There's also no by-pass lane in the drive-thru so once you're in, there's nowhere to go. read more

Can I rate a Zero? This place has really gone downhill. I've been coming here for years, about once a quarter. But the last few visits the tables aren't cleaned up, making it challenging to find a place to sit. I started bringing wet wipes in with me to wash my table after I clear my own table. This shouldn't be necessary. If customers are expected to clear their own tables, the merchant should still take pride in their location. Make sure the seating area is pleasant and welcoming. Not filthy. It's off-putting, shy of disgusting. This week I was there for lunch on Monday. It was the worst. Not only was the dining area dirty, but they didn't have any pastries, their soups weren't warm so thus unavailable, and they were out of key ingredients for some menu items. Okay, so they're closed on Sundays. But if the staffing shortage is to blame, work on Sunday to prepare for Monday. The staff at the counter needed to leave in the middle of lunch and was more concerned with telling the boss than with helping the customer in front of her. They would have been better off being closed for the day. It was the final time for me. I will go to the one on Lincoln or find a competitor. They need a serious change! I arrived at 3:55pm and was standing in front of the front doors maybe 3 ft away while waiting for my disabled father who was using his cane slowly to get to the front door and the lady locked the front doors and not even acknowledging us or letting us know she is locking the door as we were entering and my father can't walk well. She just turned her back and another guest noticed us while my father was trying to stand and they let us in. The register girl was very nice and took our order. This is your average little bakery with salads, soups and sandwiches. Very similar to a Panera Bread. Every time we have come the service is good and the food is very average. My girlfriend always likes to try something new hoping it will be different. The only thing I come for now is there French Toast. THE FRENCH TOAST IS DELICIOUS. It comes perfectly toasted with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and fresh strawberries. The caramel sauce is amazing! The other find that we didn't know about was there Carmel apples. They serve a wide variety of Carmel apples. So this was a pleasant surprise. Although the two food items were my favorite the overall experience each time and the typical food average.
