Ate here today and it was so good! The sandwiches were perfect and the staff were SO friendly!! Will be coming back here again soon.

This place is cool and clean, but sooo expensive. 7.50$ for a kids small sandwich, drink, and cookie? Oh wait, they forgot my cookie. I will never forgive this place for forgetting my cookie and I will never come back. read more

Super soft bread. The turkey was really juicy, almost too juicy for my liking but I can't hold that against them. Definitely what I would consider the bottom rung of the top tier of sandwich shops. I really liked the hot pickles on the Hot Ones Hook and Ladder but I would suggest getting them on a roast beef sandwich. Nice heat that left my lips tingling but not so hot you couldn't eat it. read more

Good quality sandwiches and fast service for a busy location, will be back definitely

Stopped by Firehouse Subs while out running errands. Decided to get the Limited Pork/ Slaw Sandwich and some chips. This sandwich was delicious! The pulled pork was moist and tender and the slaw was crunchy. The sauce was tangy. Might possibly be the best fast food sandwich I've ever had. Service was decent . Restaurant was clean . read more

Griffin Burch is a great employee very kind, and flexible with my crazy order. I will be coming to this location more often.

They almost always make nice sandwiches with care and well balanced ingredients. I've tried several and they're probably my favorite sandwich chain at this point. I get online to go orders most of all and they're usually perfectly made and don't have issues. Any issues were kindly fixed when discussed. Would recommend! read more

Food was great! Got all our sandwiches right and tasted great. Ordered online and we were very happy.

Do NOT pre-order food to pickup. Wrong breads for the sandwiches, ingredients left on that should have been taken off, condiments not put on sandwiches, missing items. This is the second time this has happened. I should have known better. ‍ read more

We had such great service. The people are so kind and helpful. The food is also delicious!

When you think of firehouse you think of mid sandwich joint. This firehouse specifically is awful! I have found hair in multiple of my families sandwich's and have seen that they have some nasty and impolite workers. As well as my 4 year old boy wanting a fire hat they refused and yelled at him. After that altercation we will never be returning to firehouse! I think a jersey mikes would fit perfect in this spot. read more

The food is fresh and made well but it doesn't seem to be clean. Manager appears grumpy at times.

Hair in all of our sandwiches, rude workers, yelling at me because I didn't know what came on a sandwich. Didn't give us our pickles.. we love pickles. Don't go if u like pickles bc u don't get any. DONT COME HERE read more

Was in the mood for a hoagie, sorry sub, and I had seen Firehouse Subs a short distance away since moving to Highlands Ranch, so naturally I turned to Yelp first. 3.5 stars was its rating, I try to stick to 4 stars and above, but I read their menu, saw that some proceeds go to firemen, so I figured what the heck. Since we're in the Corona virus age now, they recommended call ahead, which I did, Jackson answered the phone and took my order. Very professional and thorough when taking it, gave me the total and it would be ready in 10 minutes, great. When I got there I was pleased to see that all the guys behind the long counter were wearing masks, I wish I could say the same for the 5 people waiting to pick up their orders. Don't get me started on that topic! I got the Brisket & Cheddar cheese sub, while the misses got a build your own Smoked Turkey, provolone, lettuce and tomato, and requested it cold. They steam the meat and cheese to add some heat and get the cheese melted, then it goes on a lightly toasted roll. I've been eating brisket for around 40 years, so I think I know a good one. Their menu say it's smoked for up to 16 hours, comes with mayo and Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce (great choice BTW), of course I didn't expect NY fresh cooked brisket, but I must say I was extremely happy with my choice! It really was a nice sandwich, or should I say sub. The wife was very happy with her smoked turkey as well. After looking at the reviews, most of the lower rated ones complained about the staff being rude, some said the staff was great, but no one complained about the food, which is a great thing. You can teach people to be courteous but it's hard if the food sucks. That definitely wasn't the case here, nice staff and the subs were really good. Now don't get me wrong, this wasn't a Philly sub, but I've lowered my expectations since moving to Colorado, and I was pleasantly surprised with Firehouse Subs. I'll definitely be back, and love that it's less that 5 minutes away! Good job guys! read more

So it's 50-50 with this store. I order from here on occasion but sometimes they follow the instructions and other times they don't. This time was a no. Food was good so they get a pass. If they just hurry less and pay attention more, I'd be willing to give them more stars read more

Quite and oh so good. Had a medium hook & ladder and my husband got a steak and cheese. Yum yum

A few miles away is a Firehouse Subs in Lone Tree. Go to that one. The one in Highlands Ranch can't even remember to add banana peppers. It looks like it got run over by a car. Every time. I just gave them another chance and it happened again. The one in Lone Tree is worth the drive even though I can walk to the one in Highlands Ranch. read more

Gave me food poisoning and had to skip work for multiple days. Quality was absolute trash.

Apparently no one cares. Visited a year later and 5 people working. The line keeps growing with one person taking orders, one making sandwiches, one standing near the grills yawning while waiting for a faxed letter to be useful, and one waiting for the sole sandwich maker to wrap them up and place them in a bag, and one person watching everyone. Two years later this place hasn't improved at all. I think the owner / manager should go under basic six sigma training. Food quality is on par with Panera: Nothing special. At least I don't have to wait a half hour for food there. read more

its staffed with super nice people. there is very wise gentleman who is super courteous and super genuinely interested in helping you out with that perfect meal we all craving for. last few times I was there, it was the same gentleman who greeted and took the order from me. you order the meal and have a seat and they will bring it to you. my sandwich was piping hot, well portioned for the price and with the slice of pickle, it was definitely full filling meal. I am always watching what I eat and the medium size was considered as cheat meal. I m definitely coming back again and again and maybe stop by for some Italian ice cream next door. read more

Good tasty subs, a great selection of hot sauces. 4+ stars for the food. Slow and disinterested service without a smile. 2- stars for the service. MUCH better than the Firehouse in the Belmar section of Lakewood, where the staff hollers "Welcome to Firehouse" every time someone walks in the door. read more

Turkey bacon is fire as always. Decided I'd try the Mac n cheese for the first time today. Avoid it, it's worse than microwaved mac n cheese, like cheese soup with some mushy noodles and tastes freezer burnt. read more

Even though I gave 3 stars - I think the food is a 4. The subs are always hot/toasted - plus they serve Coke products (sorry Quiznos). I had never tried hot sauce on a sub until coming here and I must say I am addicted. The sauce selection is great! Unfortunately - the service is always slow and average. I have learned to avoid this place on weekends as they tend to get a bit too busy (meaning really long wait). If you haven't tried a Firehouse Sub yet, I recommend swinging by. read more

I am a sub guy and always like to hit up new places. I know this is a chain and sometimes that means not the best attention to details. But I went to firehouse and had the steamer this week and fell in love with this place. Great meat really sauce (I am and sauce guy) sub and great atmosphere. I likes it so much I went back the next day and tried the brisket and loved that one too. The cherry lime aid is a little sweet but a great compliment to the cubs. read more

Firehouse subs is a sub restaurant dedicated to firemen. Proceeds and donations can help fund firefighters. At the end of every order they ask if you would like to round up your total to donate, which is a neat idea to help firefighters! It can feel a little crowded in here with the layout and when it's busy, there isn't much room to stand to wait in line near the order cashier. Your kind of standing on top of tables if there is more than 1 person ordering. They have a wife variety of subs to choose from, I'm a huge fan of the turkey bacon ranch. Very delicious. They steam all of their meats to bring out the true flavor, and it's noticeable compared to a subway sub. The only con, is it takes about 5-10 minutes after you order until you receive your food, where other sub restaurants are on the spot after ordering. The restaurant had about 5 employees working during lunch hours, and it was slightly busy. This is an above average tasting sub, and definitely worth trying if your a fan of sandwiches. read more

Extremely disappointed with this Firehouse. There have been mistakes on the past 3 to go orders we have placed. I do not see this improving any time soon. We will be going to jimmy johns and Jersey Mike's in this area from now on. read more

Kinda blah this visit. Maybe because it was on a weekday at lunch and the restaurant is staffed with high school kids behind the counter during this period. The steak sandwich I ate tasted more like roast beef. The peppers tasted kinda sweet - even by sweet pepper standards. Finally, it was full of obnoxious Highlands Ranch high schoolers who basically left trash behind them wherever they went while manipulating two cell phones at once. The last point may not be the restaurant's fault but it is annoying none-the-less. One positive - this location has updated to the new style mix-your-own Coke machine that seems to be making an emergence around Denver. Overall it was a solid 3 - meh, it was okay but not worth going out of one's way. read more

Honestly this is the worst looking sandwich I have seen. EVER. This thing is completely wrong not even close to what I ordered. Really changes my mind about this place. read more

Firehouse has the best subs of any sub shop. They use high quality boars head meats and cheeses and they toast everything which makes the flavors glow. The best sub though is the meatball sub. The meatball flavor is the best I've ever had and when you dump some of their many choices of hot sauce on it, it will explode your tastebuds. read more

The Firehouse makes great subs! Love the medium Hook, fully involved, on wheat. Make it a combo with chips a drink and your out the door for $7.98. Also, appreciate a business that is always busy and the keeps making improvements. Check out their fancy high tech touch screen drink dispenser, pretty cool! At 690 calories and 26 grams of fat the Hook and Ladder is not necessarily a great wellness choice. However it is head and shoulders above a healthier Subway sub in flavor. Had about 2 tablespoons of tuna on a foot long sandwich. Pretty much had a bread sandwich.

Pretty close to where I work, and a very nice change from Subway. They have good choices and fresh ingrediants, and a wide array of hot sauces to choose from. There's not much else to say about it, a sandwich is a sandwich, after all. But I do like the place, and come here often. The downside, it's slow. Every time I come here the employees take their sweet time making the food. The wait really seems excessive for what's being ordered. That's my only real critique, I will probably keep coming back, just not when I'm in a rush. read more

From Florida I try to find my favorites up here and did NOT think I'd be finding a Firehouse Sub!! I am a die hard fan of the Hook 'N Ladder on white, fully involved. I can't tell you how good it is. You must go there now, and find out for yourself! They even guarantee you'll love it, or it's on them. My husband has got me stuck on the steak sub though, minus the onion and peppers, yes on the cheese, mayo & mustard. Hello heaven, how are you? I go to Subway to get my usual chicken sub on a salad now, and when I want a sub, I'll gladly drive the distance from Aurora to Highlands Ranch for these beauties of a sub. They also have a new Coke machine that you can add custom flavors to your drink. I'm a sweet tea girl and it always tastes the same, as do the subs. read more

After living in Florida for 2 years I fell in love with Firehouse subs. Upon moving back to Colorado I had to come to grips with the fact that there are no Firehouse Subs within any immediately surrounding states, yes I would have drive hundreds of miles for a hook and ladder. When this Firehouse subs opened I made an immediate trip. I have missed it as badly as I miss not paying bills. I cried as I took my first bite of hook and ladder with that beloved firehouse sauce. Needless to say I purchased a bottle of sauce to take home and we have been back numerous times since. If you need a sandwich and want the best then this is the place to go. Hopefully they will open one that isn't a 30 minute drive from my home. read more

I like this restaurant. They seem to hire courteous young adults. The food is hood. My only complaint is ordering on the phone is very disappointing! About 50% of the time the ohone is busy. Firehouse Subs - 4. Italian Sub - Sandwiches Near Me - Highlands Ranch, Colorado

I'm still torn between giving the restaurant 4 or 5 stars. I still think the food is fantastic and workers are very friendly. But I was there recently and the door to the bathroom was a little sticky and several of the tables still had crumbs on them. I know it's not 5 start dining or a formal restaurant. Other than those things, the place is still great. They have a new sodapop dispenser which has a touch screen for selecting your drinks, similar to a jukebox. It's pretty cool. I found out that they sell 5 gallon buckets for $2. Much cheaper than Home Depot. These are leftover buckets that they buy their pickles in. I needed a bucket for brining a turkey. The only bucket we had at home was used for home improvement projects and even after cleaning it with bleach, I didn't feel comfortable putting food in it. So anytime I need a 5 gallon bucket in the future, I will buy more from Firehouse Subs. read more
