I've only been here a few times but this will now be the only place I get meat from. The quality of the steaks and ground beef I've had the last couple of times were clean, flavorful and just premium compared to your grocery store butcher/deli. This time we grabbed chicken legs, cheese, summer sausage, olives in addition to our top sirloin and ground beef. So we're excited and hope the new items carry the same quality. We figure they would be given most the cheese selections are from Wisconsin. As an original Wisconsinite, I beyond approve! The staff behind the deli is on top of their game. When busy, they have a ticket system and you're barely waiting long. Everyone behind the meat counter is ready to help. Space is a little tight to maneuver but very manageable. The best part is coming to the seafood section and not smelling the coast. They keep the space very tidy and clean. This is officially my new meat market for sure! read more

Went in recently and wanted filet mignon. The butcher selection was vast, but only bacon wrapped filets. They graciously cut me fresh filets and to the ounce size I wanted. Great service! I can't tell you how happy I am to have found Tony's Meats & Market! This is NOT your ordinary grocery store. Yes, they do sell meats, seafood, deli, produce, prepared meals, cheeses, bakery & pantry items along with freshly prepared sandwiches. But this different - is all gourmet, delicious fine foods. This family run business has been operating since 1978, (with two other locations, one in Littleton the other in Castle Pines). They offer only the highest quality of everything. It can be somewhat pricey, but the food is superb. It has the quaint charm of an European Market. Only the very best meats & seafood make it to Tony's. Their standards are high & all the produce comes from Colorado Farms. I went to Tony's because I needed some veggie & fruit platters for a party & wanted something special. I ordered from their catering menu. These are not your average platters with ranch dip. The Vegetable Crudités Platter not only had fresh hand cut veggies but the most delicious zesty lemon dip! The Caprese Tomato Skewers included juicy cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella & basil with the best balsamic vinaigrette I've tasted. Everyone wanted that recipe! Last but not least was the Fresh Fruit Platter, this included a good variety of fruit with a delicious homemade lime dip. All in all Tony's really made it something special! read more

We pre-ordered a roasted boneless turkey breast from Tony's Thanksgiving Menu. It was labeled on the web site menu and billed on my receipt as "Tony's boneless turkey breast" so naturally I assumed this would be a traditional turkey breast prepared and cooked in-store. I saw folks in line ahead of me walking out holding catering chafing foil dishes with what looked like homemade, dry-rubbed, roasted turkeys, so I was absolutely gobsmacked to discover that for $45.89 I received a packaged, processed DELI MEAT TURKEY BREAST from Golden Legacy, a company in Michigan; as in something you buy at the deli counter at Safeway. Unbelievable. Thankfully we were able to get a refund, but now we're turkey-less the day before Thanksgiving. Tony's web site and Thanksgiving menu are both very misleading. Beware! read more

Rudest staff of any of the Tony's locations. I'm drive across town before I'll go back to this location. The staff at the Littleton location is so outgoing, nice and eager to help. The staff at the Centennial location pretends they don't see you standing waiting for help, then they talk down to costumers and just act snooty in general. Yesterday, we experienced 2 hot headed employees in one visit who were just plain rude for no reason. Maybe you deal with too many snooty, uptight customers in that location and feel you have to portray that same attitude yourselves. I don't know, but whatever your justification we are done visiting this location. read more

I've been to Tony's a few times now, a few to pick up some good cuts of meat and sides. Most recently l used Tony's to pick up some sides for Thanksgiving. The service from the staff here was top notch and they had a really good system to pick up your Thanksgiving meal (tent on side of building, you check in and they give you all of your food packaged up quick and ready). The service was so great though, and really stood out. You could tell the staff, although really busy with pickups from customers, really cared about making sure everything was right. The food, too, cranberry sauce and stuffing was what I ordered, was very tasty. I would definitely recommend Tony's for catering or for shopping for your next gourmet meal. read more

For reviews I base mine of quality not price there is an extent where price differences can take place. For Tony's meat Market this is hands down the best quality almost everything for a store. I have never purchased a steak from here that wasn't perfectly cut and translates to amazing steaks at home as well. There twice baked potato's outstanding 8/10. I also love the crab cakes a solid 8/10 as well. Great place to pick up a few steaks and sides last minute and throw em on the grill and have a good night the food quality comparison is to a high end steak house everything you will get here. Now for what I love most here the Bakery is out standing the best sticky buns I've ever had 10/10 all day and there cinnamon rolls they have a couple different t varieties but wow 9/10. Tony's isn't your run of the mill market, they are a top notch butcher shop, with an array of different options for all tastes. Some people will say that they're on the expensive side, but if you value top grade products, and what you put into your body, you won't be one of those people. Decent selection of meats and adjacent items, however, in my experience going to several butchers around Denver, this one was by far the least accommodating. I wanted a 2.5 lb cut of skirt steak trimmed down 1lb, and for this particular cut of meat they couldn't do that. I understand that they have rules, but that's a very common request to witch I responded, "that's surprising, everyone else does that". Instead of kindly explaining their policy and offering another option, the woman in charge of the counter sarcastically said, "well, we're not everyone else", scoffed, and walked away. Maybe this shop is worth the convenience if you're close in the area, but the mediocre selection (compared to other Denver options) and general unaccommodating and arrogant nature of the management leads me to frequent other options in the city over this one. read more

Tony's used to have great cakes with really good buttercream frosting at a comparatively modest price. We've bought all our special occasion cakes there for years. But the last two times I've bought a chocolate cake there, the frosting has tasted like thickened chocolate syrup--not good at all, just overly sweet and way too gooey, Whoever is making their cakes for them doesn't know how!
