I was hoping the small coffee would be free with purchase of bag, but I guess it wasn't. The bag of coffee wasn't cheap, so I was disappointed in how over-roasted the beans were. Adjusting grind levels and water temperature, there was always a bitterness or too watered down. The other flavors present in the beans, however, we're quite nice. I was hoping that they would have real kona coffee, but unfortunately their supplier suffered from disaster in Hawaii. Not going to blame them for that, but objectively speaking, if a Hawaiian coffee shop doesn't have Hawaiian coffee, then I am sad about it. Colfax might be a better choice. I parked on Colfax but nobody else did, so I hope it was OK. I didn't get a ticket and I didn't see any parking restrictions. I't s busy street though. OK. Sorry about the parking thing. I live in LA so parking is always something I keep in mind because parking is such a hassle there. Anyway, Jubilee is awesome! There's tons of seating, so you can likely easily meet someone there without having to worry if you'll find seating. The place has a great vibe and the staff adds a lot to the super cool vibe. Not only does it surpass their competitors (like Starbucks,Allegro, Otis and Corvus, etc) but the biggest difference for me and my family is THE PEOPLE. Joe, Alyssa, Josie, Tyson, Jason, Noah, Esmee, are the best baristas and friendliest with their customers every single time we come in.
