It was an early afternoon time around 1:30pm. Before I was going to my job assignment, I needed a quick coffee break. As I was coming out of the business right across from the street, this coffee shop didn't escape my notice. I wasted no time to rush to it to check it out. This shop is conjoined with a little country shop. Once you are inside the building, the coffee shop is to the right. A young lady welcomed me with a smile. I was the only person at the time of the visit so I was immediately helped. The drink menu is a good size. They also have a decent selection for breakfast and lunch items. My iced latte (16oz) was not even $5 after tax. I truly appreciate the small town prices. This place does look like something the town of Elizabeth had long been waiting for: another boost to make this quiet and quaint town could utilize to bring some curious visitors to come check out and see how cute Elizabeth is. After we returned home, I took another look at the receipt. Hidden charges were very apparent. This needs to be posted on the menu as well to inform customers! For example, Colorado sandwich with 7 Grain Bread. Additional $1.60! Vegan BLT with Cheddar Cheese no Bacon Add $.60! Matcha Tea with Oat Milk $1.15 plus adding Lite Ice $.30! I truly would like to be informed of these "hidden charges" before I order. This was a grand total of $3.65! Check out the $2.96 in local fees and taxes, too! Plus, I gave a tip! ouch!
