Service The young man was nice but did not listen well. He asked which cone I preferred. I said whatever was the standard cone. He said it did not matter, so I chose the sugar cone. At checkout he charged me a dollar for the cone. I asked why and he said it was a custom cone or something like that. (The dollar didn't bother me; the lack of transparency did.) I asked why he didn't tell me when I had asked. I got a shoulder shrug. Then when I looked at the bill (not including the sugar cone price), I saw the cone was priced higher than what was stated on the sign showing all the cone prices. I asked why; he said it was a price increase. Again, it is not the increase that bothers me. It is the fact that it is unethical to post one price and then increase it at the register with no warning to the customer. Quality I am an ice cream fan..a big one..and I know a lot about ice cream. This is slightly above average ice cream. Needs a little more butterfat and much less sugar. In fairness, it is not priced like the premium stores so the value is acceptable. What did bother me is having green colored mint chocolate chip. Mint is a colorless flavoring; adding green dye is not healthy. I suppose most people want to see green to signify it is mint, but true ice cream lovers know this is not a good sign of quality. read more

She wasn't thrilled that we had arrived that close to closing and you could tell it wasn't pleasing her at all that she had to stop and help us. Sign me up to live on The ice Cream Farm! I came here with the intentions of eating at GQue BBQ next door and having dessert here. That plan went out the window when I saw how crowded the BBQ joint was! So, my plans changed on a dime! The shop is located at Park Meadows Mall. Parking is free, but a little challenging. There are parallel parking spots along the store fronts, but they are quickly gone. I was not lucky enough to find one, so I drove out to the lot and walked over (less than 5 minutes). It was sprinkling out that evening, so I was hoping to nab a closer spot ... just like everyone else! Do "Colorado Cows make the best ice cream"? I cannot aver that as a fact, but I can say that this ice cream is quite delectable! They make all their ice cream right there, in house. They had 15 flavors to choose from the night I went. 8 Flavors which are available year-round are: Tahitian Vanilla, Bourbon Butterscotch, Chocolate Truffle, Banana Pudding, Strawberry, Cookie Dough, Grasshopper, and Salted Caramel Oreo. I chose the Bourbon Butterscotch & Peanut Butter Brownie Time. Both were superb and they went well together! The ice cream was indeed creamy and delicious! It was melting as I was trying to take pictures, but the #cameraatefirst as usual! TIP: Be sure to join their Moosletter to get free ice cream scoop! There are a few tables inside to take your ice cream with you to sit and enjoy. It was sprinkling out, so it was nice to not have to eat it outside. I really like this place but the last time I went I got cut by a young man who came in after me who then yelled at me when I made it clear to him I was next. He antagonized me until I left the store. I felt bad for the teenager working there who couldn't do much to help me. I don't think that would happen again but probably won't be back because of it. I drove down from Denver to try their ice cream as their Instagram had amazing looking treats: specifically their salted caramel Oreo. I went 'wild' and got the waffle bowl with 2 scoops, topped it with more crushed Oreos and caramel. Totally not necessary but still tasty. I liked the ice cream but did have a couple bites that tasted a little icy. This might not be their top seller as I saw some other flavors were completely bare, and that could be the issue. I try not to get the ice cream but my will power isn't that strong. I also taste a new flavor each time I'm in there but as good as it tastes I always end up with the Bourbon Butterscotch.
