Came in from Utah and stopped by to get something. The service seemed a little understaffed but the wait was. Well worth it.

Unfortunately things have gone down hill here since the so card pandemic. No samples anymore due to "waste". Tonight we stopped for a scoop after supper. I normally get a malt and they are good. Tonight's was the worst malt I have ever had! Scoop sizes have gotten much smaller and prices went other direction in last couple years too. I used to eat this ice cream all the time. Hands down the best ice cream in the Parker area! I've come here multiple times and always love the ice cream! They have a bunch of different flavors and will let you have lots of samples! It's homemade ice cream and you can definitely taste the difference! They also milk shakes and different toppings if you're looking to have more of a sundae. Waited in line for 30 minutes on a Tuesday to get to the front only to be told by the employee he didn't know how to make a sundae. I read him what the description was on their menu (2 or 3 flavors with a sauce, topping, whipped cream, and a cherry) and he reiterated it was his third shift and he didn't know how to make a sundae. He asked if I wanted anything else and I said I would wait for the other employee and he could move on to the couple behind me. neither the other employee nor the one that came out from the back waited on me despite hearing me say that I would wait for her. The couple behind me got the last of the flavor I had wanted and when they asked if there was anymore the employee again said it was his third shift and he didn't know. I understand being new but complete lack of customer service or even attempting communication with coworkers is pretty poor. I ended up walking out after being ignored by the other two employees even trying to get their attention. For the record there were 11 people ahead of me when I entered the store and it took 2 people 30 minutes to serve those 11. The majority of which appeared to have single scoops in cones. read more

My family and I have been coming in for the last 5 years and the ice cream is always absolutely amazing however the customer is always crap. Every time we've gone in the kids working are always really rude. We keep coming back because the ice cream is fantastic but I will say since the customer service is always bad it makes us not want to come in. read more

I loved this place. I always bring my out of towners here We went today and there are stools in front of the glass basically obstructing anyone's view that isn't an adult. My sweet girl couldn't see. I understand everyone is doing there best right now but what's the difference between the candies they have out for kids to touch and grab and then touching glass. Won't be back. I rarely eat ice cream, only on days that end in Y. ;) So naturally, I'm a self appointed ice cream connoisseur. Butterfield's Ice Cream is super delicious, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. It's not too sweet to be sickly sweet, but it's not lacking in flavor either. The only thing I would change about this place is to have a toddler size, even their smallest is way too big for my kid. I didn't care much for the Coconut Nut Chip - it didn't have a lot of flavor at all (I basically threw that flavor out.) They had quite a few other original/yummy sounding flavors as well.
