Pretty good first visit here last night. The happy hour specials are fantastic. Not sure where else you can get at least decent margaritas for $7-8. I started with a mango, but then switched to the spicy hibiscus. Both were good. My wife enjoyed her standard Tino's margarita. I tried one Chile relleno, which was fine, and a good bargain for $3. We split an order of the queso poblano dip, which tasted ok but had a bit of a grainy consistency. Also on the happy hour menu, it was a good value for $8.50 but not sure if we'd get it again. Always looking for reputable fajitas in Colorado, my wife and I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas and split them. Doing it this way seemed to be a better bargain than ordering the combo fajitas (for one or for two). Both meats were good, and there was enough for both of us. Peppers, onions, guacamole, and the salsa verde were all good too. A little odd the food basically comes ala carte...no rice, beans, etc. we had plenty of food but still noticed the lack of sides. Service was friendly and fine for the most part. There were a few times our primary server disappeared but someone else was around to take our next drink order, get our check, etc. With so few good Mexican options around, I'm guessing we'll be back. read more

Craving really tasty tex mex? Tinos is definitely way better than a typical casual Americanized Latin restaurant. The food is actually really really good considering location in suburbs. Service was excellent - I was immediately offered a coloring menu for my toddler, food was out quick and water refilled without my asking. We tried Nachos, fried zucchini, steak fajitas for 2, and lava cake. Fajitas came out sizzling (see photo) and onion and peppers perfectly charred and carmelized. Service was quick and food came in decent time. They have plenty of breakfast options, I ordered the Denver Skillet with a pancake side instead of toast & hubby got the breakfast flautas. By participating in the Agave Challenge for the Denver Metro Area in June of 2025, we came across Tino's kitchen. Tino's has a menu filled with many a cuisine. Mexican? Yes. Irish? Yes. Italian? Yes. So many options! The space is nice and offers a variety of seating-bar, booth, or table depending on what you need. I went with the Tamarindo Margarita for my first beverage. It was good at first sip, then became sweeter over the course of drinking it and left a banana after taste. Perhaps my taste buds, but not the flavors mentioned in tamarindo's profile of sweet and sour. Not my favorite. The Smoky Hibiscus Margarita was delicious. We split a half order of chicken nachos (half is more than enough) as well. The dish was fine- a bit on the mild side for flavoring for my taste. To me, this place has my heart. It's because if their menu of solid dishes, spacious dining and not so over the top atmosphere where single diner can casually walk in and have a breakfast or lunch or dinner. Let's not forget, the workers are pretty welcoming and pleasant as well. After a hike in nearby park with friends, they wanted to go to the usual spot where they only had so called "bar food". I was famished (I only ate breakfast) so I knew bar food wasn't going to satisfy my hunger; I needed better food than that. I thought of some casual places in the neighborhood and then Tino's hit me. It was a Monday night. I knew the restaurant wasn't going to be busy. Upon arrival, I stepped into it seeing only a handful of tables occupied. Yay! I was immediately seated by a very welcoming host, Loretta (and she became my server as well.) I appreciated her enthusiasm and peppy demeanor. She was also attentive. As I thought of sitting at the bar as I was solo and yet since it wasn't busy, I requested a booth. I definitely wanted some quality protein so I went with Tino's Citrus Salmon ($22.85 as of mid July 2025); decent price I thought.) The salmon is placed over angel hair pasta where you can change it to gluten free option which I did. If you do however, the pasta will be gluten free penne. I kind of regretted this as I could have easily consume pasta with gluten although sometimes gluten gives me a lot of gas (lol!!!) I could have suffered where I wouldn't have minded! Not that I have dined at Tino's many times in the past but this dish is now my go to one here. The portion size, how citrusy the whole dish with other seasonings is (as the name of the dish says it all where it doesn't lie) you can say a lot about the ingredients as you eat it away. This dish exceeded my expectations to my surprise. If you want to avoid an overcrowded high-end restaurant where portion sizes aere small, go here. You'll be quite surprised and pleased. read more

Tino's kitchen had very friendly staff and decent food, with a large menu but seems to suffer from the same fate a lot of restaurants with massive menus do. While everything we ate was good, nothing was outstanding. Though to be fair average is a good bar for a regular lunch spot that has enough variety to not feel monotonous. Excellent food. Service is great. Atmosphere is casual and could use some updating. They open late for breakfast. Most people want to stop for breakfast on their way to work during the week. They should open by 7am. Weekends they open at 8am. They are missing a critical hour of breakfast which is the largest profit center. Weekdays they miss by 30 minutes opening at 7:30am and usually open the doors late. Most of the restaurants for breakfast are open between 6am and 7am. Friendly service with a big, open dining area with roomy booths and tables. The menu is large and confusingly varied--Mexican, American, Italian--take your pick. The split nachos was a generous portion but lacked spice even though it had jalapeños and Pico de Gallo. Drinks were expertly crafted. The location is adorable. They have a full bar! The food was fresh, well prepared and delicious. The only reason I'm knocking a star was our server was a bit curt until we were ready to pay/leave. He warmed up a bit, but it was odd. We will definitely be back for other meals. read more

12/24 noon. Wanted to try their burgers. Looked legit on Yelp photos. This location use to be under different name and served breakfast. Upon entering, noticed the specials at the front counter and the bar to the back. Nice! All went well till the arrival of food. All good except toast. The lady did say she will bring the toast. All good. Well, finished my meal and still no toast. Lady finally stopped again to check on us and I still wanted toast even though done with my meal. She acknowledged and .... went to another table to take order. I see where the priorities are. Few minutes later, another guy brings the toast. I like the reasonably priced drinks and few things that was unique. Flight of margaritas or mimosa? Wednesday burger specials ($3 extra fries) might not be that special. For 3 stars, it's ok. We arrived pretty around 8:30a on Saturday morning. They had a few tables already served. The waiter greeted us and directed us over to a booth. I tried the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was flavorful, overloaded with sausage for my tastes though. Service seemed to dwindle as we ate, more customers coming in. Four of us came here for dinner and everything was absolutely delicious, our server was very kind and welcoming, mojito was fresh, margarita was nice and strong, bloody Maria was perfectly spicy. Got the chicken Francese and was actually one of the best Ive had, came out hot, perfectly juicy breaded chicken and pasta. Fajitas were tender and delicious. Salmon cooked perfect. Randomly stopped in here one night and so glad we did. The waiter was so friendly and kind and the ambience inside is very cool. We ordered the southwest salad and Buffalo chicken wrap and we're both wowed with how good they were. The seasoned French fries were awesome as well We liked it so much we got take out from here a few weeks later with some friends. We did shrimp tacos and the nachos and everything was still so good even with delivery. Went for Taco Tuesday and wasn't disappointed at all. Very good! We had following tacos: Quesobirria, Chicken, Fish and Ground Beef & Cheese Crispy. All were delicious with plenty of filling . All prices are very good value at $3.50 to $4.00 each. Nice clean ambiance with beer, wine and good margaritas. Service is acceptable as at times staff is stretched. Have also had breakfast here numerous times as well as other Mexican dishes. Never had a bad meal which why I continue to return. Pricing is very competitive. read more

We figured it would be busy on Easter Sunday but we wanted to try Tino's, glad we went. No reservations, just 2 of us and we were greeted and seated right away. Service was attentive. There were actually a few open tables at a couple points. But they were hopping (no pun intended). A number of large flat screens with basketball on. They have a full bar and quite a lengthy drink menu. Seating options are booths or tables. I did see that they take reservations and that might be what we do next time to make sure we can get a seat. My wife ordered the egg whites omelet with hashbrowns, me, I got the Denver skillet, added Jalapeños, of course. Everything was delicious! So may options, and watching what was coming out of the kitchen, we will be back to try more! read more

I've been wanting to check this place out so we stopped in for brunch. It was inviting when you walk in. We were seated immediately. I ordered the mimosa flight. It came with orange juice, hibiscus, lavender & pineapple flavors. I also had the chorizo breakfast tacos which were amazing!!! Hubby had the protein packed (alotta meat) skillet & a creme Brule. It was all great & came out pretty quick. Server was excellent and definitely attentive. We definitely want to come back for lunch sometime. Or maybe their taco Tuesday night. read more

The server/hostess was quick and food came out fast but a little disappointing. They get 2 stars because of how filthy both restrooms were. They didn't look like they had been cleaned in weeks. I didn't even stay in long enough to take a picture but the trash hadn't been taken out and the floors didn't look like they had been swept in at least a week. read more

My experience at Tino's was mixed. The staff is very nice. The selection of foods and pricing is good. But the execution was just not the best. For a start, I had to wait at least 10 minutes before someone came to take my order. It felt like a very long time. When they came to take my order, they realized they had given me the breakfast menu but were now serving lunch. So I had to spend more time considering what I wanted to eat, and wait again, not as long this time, for the server to come back. The food came relatively quickly, and I asked for ketchup for my French fries. The server handed me a bottle from a nearby table. But the bottle had never been opened, and I had to take the top off and pull off the little sanitary cap inside. I don't feel like it's my job to do that. Not a big deal, but on top of the other things . . . There is a Yelp offer for a free appetizer, which I confirmed with the server. When they brought my check, the appetizer was on it and I had been charged. Of course they took it off right away and it was no problem, but it was one other small issue with the meal. The one other weirdism was that the booth bench I was seated on behaved like a seesaw with the person sitting directly behind me. Whenever either of us moved, the whole seat would go up and down. It was not pleasant and had a certain tendency to make me seasick. I can recommend trying Tino's in spite of these various small glitches. Perhaps they were just having a bad day that day. And I hope they see this and fix that bench. read more

My party of 3 came in because we saw the higher ratings from other folks. We were seated at the time there was only 3 other tables of customers. We were given our menus and at the time we ask for coffee. We kept trying to get their attention that we were ready to order so after 15 minutes waiting. I stood up and waved my arms. Tina is a newer restaurant in a shopping center just east of I 25 off Lincoln Avenue with plenty of seating and modern decor. The interior is decorated in a modern country style. I went with a friend for brunch On a Monday and was seated quickly without any need for reservations. The menu was Mexican cuisine with some traditional breakfast items. Service and ordering was fairly fast. I ordered a breakfast skillet, asking for the ham to be omitted and unfortunately it was served with ham. However, the food was still fine. My friend enjoyed her dish as well. Apart from that minor mistake the food was good. Our waiter offered to get a new plate but I just ate around the ham. The restaurant is reasonably priced for breakfast and a place that would be a good alternative to a chain breakfast restaurant. read more
