We enjoyed eating at Potbelly in Illinois, so I was pleased to see one in Colorado. We were on our way to Ikea and decided to stop in for lunch. The interior looked familiar and relaxed, just like I remembered. I ordered the skinny roast beef sandwich with blue cheese and their vegetable soup. I opted not to have any other toppings added to the sandwich though there were many I could have chosen. Every time I go, I'm tempted to get a milkshake but again I didn't. Though I did make a last minute grab of one of their chocolate chip brownies that was at the register. The food was delicious and my memories of warm, comforting meals at Potbelly remain.

8/10/25- I got the medium size and the overall quality to price was not worth it. The chicken salad was very bland and so dry it sucked the moisture out of your mouth. Even having them add mayo and their garlic sauce to it didn't help because the base chicken salad was a disaster. I don't know if they make the chicken salad in house or get it already made, but this chicken salad needs some real help. The meal deal is also not worth it. They only have one brand of chips, lots of different flavors, but all the different chips for this brand are not good and the bags barely have a 3rd of the bag filled with chips. Also we had a hard time finding a clean table and had to clean one ourselves. I've had better experiences at different locations in the past, but it's been at least 5 years since I have been to one. I remember the food being good and a good price for the quality, but that doesn't seem to be the case now.

This was my first time eating at a Potbelly. I was happy with our toasted sandwiches and service was fairly quick. Meat and cheese are toasted and then toppings are put on the sandwich. One of my pet peeves at restaurants, stores, etc is when no one acknowledges me and just stares at me until I order or pay ... just looking for a simple hello or acknowledgement - nothing formal. When it was our turn to order the guy just stared at us until we finally started to order. He exchanged no words ... the guy who finished our sandwiches was more pleasant. Since it was our first time here, their customer service didn't give us the best first impression.

I've always wondered about PB. Their name sounds delicious! I went for their TKY with broccoli cheddar soup. It's a very good combo on a toasted bread. Their skinny is a great option if you're not that hungry. The soup was not bad. It's comfort food personified. Meaning you don't worry about the fat or calorie content. Capiche? Clean place, awesome menu options already thought out for you. Nice-especially if its the first time you landed in one of their locations. Tip: place your order with the guy making the sandwiches not at the cash register. If you didn't do this kindly don't cut in front of people who are more observant than you. Or you will get your very own Colombian Tie.

My ham sandwich was pretty good, the service didn't rock but there was only two employees working so I'm guessing they were exhausted.

My first stop left me less then impressed. My pizza mania appears to look more like a glorified hot pocket. With a name like Potbelly I would think it would be a bit more. I got the regular sandwhich. I noticed him take 1 meatball and break it into 4 pieces. I did a mental..what the hell was that? But being a first time I waited. Then I had requested no Mushroom, luckily I was paying attention, he went in and grabbed a handfull. No mushrooms I repeated quickly. In to the oven thing and down the line I went. I noticed a sign..don't lean it's not attached. This is what the raised counter said that they give you your sandwhich on. I notice you've been open a few months...FIX IT! The last little treat was listening to whom I think was the store manager tell the high school aged girl ahead of me to let all her friends know they were hiring for the summer and really needed people. Then walk away when I tried to pay for my sandwhich because the several people behind the counter couldn't seem to get a to go order together. Yes, it appears they do need help. With a few things.....

The food is "meh," but totally overpriced. That's really all I have to say about it. I think I prefer Subway.

Tastier, but perhaps more authentic, which can be both good and bad. There are tastes that I'm used to and tastes that I'm not. Since I go there regularly, my strategy is to walk down the menu and try as many things as I can. Quite a number have been excellent. My two favorites so far have been Himalayan Curry and Kaida. I ordered something that I had never had before whose name I don't quite remember, but it had the word Puri in it. Let's just say that it was a very unusual taste and I'm glad I tried it, but I probably wouldn't have it again. The service is always very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. If you are a fan of Indian food and haven't tried Urban Village Grill, I strongly suggest you do so.

The bar itself is small with an even smaller stage, but where it lacks in size, it excels in everything else. There are clearly a good amount of local regulars that go there and for good reason. The alcohol selection seemed decent (I can't say for sure as I am always happy with cheap beer) and although I didn't try the food there, my bandmates said that the hot dog was really good and the birria grilled cheese is to die for. I always feel very welcome and comfortable there. As to the food, I am pretty much stuck on the famous chicken salad. I have it virtually every time I go. I have also enjoyed the tomato soup with gin, one of the salmon dishes, and the occasional vegetable. The food is all fine and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a very attractive modern look and as I say, is very comfortable and appealing. I've never quite understood the decision to keep wrapped silverware in neat piles in plain view rather than out of sight, but I've gotten used to it. Going to the restaurant has recently been made somewhat easier by the repainting of the mall parking lot, during which the parking space is were enlarged, making the process of getting out of and into one's car much less of an athletic event than it was in the past. It should be obvious what my advice is here -- go get a nice meal and let the staff charm you. You won't regret it.

SPACE: Located in a strip mall off Clinton St, the place is bright in color and easy to spot. Parking is rough, but spots can be found up front or in the surrounding parking lots. However, they fill up fast, so be warned! The interior features a variety of seating options with bare bones designs but one hell of a menu. SUSTENANCE: The menu offers a wide variety of options - from signature salads to traditional to build your own, there is literally something for everyone! I opted for a small Los Cabos salad - which was loaded with freshly grilled steak, over a bead of romaine lettuce, along with cheese, avocado, corn, cilantro and drizzled with southwest ranch dressing. YUM! My husband opted for something similar but with grilled chicken, which we also found delicious. Portions are HUGE despite how tiny the empty container looks on the counter when ordering. My small was massive and gave way to two meals, to which I happily enjoyed! SERVICE: We were greeted with smiles and hellos upon entry, which was super welcoming! I might do a Cobb salad next time and there will be a next time. My only suggestions - being a lady of the 90s and salad bars- is the sides could be more. The menu offers a variety of items and what we ordered was delizioso, I really enjoyed the Artichoke and Hummus starter which gave all at our table a taste of the unique way it was prepared. Very good and reminded me alot of the prep when we visited Italy. The Seabass was fresh and cooked to perfection and the Scallops on a bed of Risotto was amazing. FOOD Overall good food, if a little odd. The baked gnocchi and cherry tomatoes in a pesto sauce turned out to be a lot soupier than I expected. My son's pork was well-received. The house-specialty flatbread we had for the table was good. Desserts are served in, effectively, shot glasses. I don't know that it means the portions were any smaller than on a plate, and it made it convenient for the waiter to bring out a display carrier, but it was still a bit odd. One thing that struck me was that everything -- from the flatbread, to the Caesar salad, to the gnocchi, to the dessert, was just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Not offputtingly so, but a little surprising. SERVICE Service was reasonably good, and our waiter generally showed up when we needed them. I had a dirty knife (promptly replaced with a full utensil kit). ATMOSPHERE The place is just plain noisy. At a booth for four, we had problems with conversation, and in hearing the waiter. Part of this is because they have about a half-dozen too many tables squeezed into the main dining area, among other things guaranteeing you'll brush or bump into chairs on your way to your table, even on the perimeter. One the one hand, it's a good sign that they're doing good business in pulling in a lot of customers; on the other hand, it contributes to making it not a good place for an intimate date. NET-NET We've eaten here before, with similar noise and crowd issues (the holidays are especially challenging). I wouldn't object to be invited by someone to dine here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make reservations here myself.
