3 stars for service…read more The service was hands down superb- everyone was super friendly, and the food came out quickly! As a big BBQ lover, I was excited to try this, but it just wasn't for me. I've never had pulled pork bright pink in color, with such a different smell and a flaccid, chewy texture. After a couple bites, I just couldn't do it. The mac & cheese was basic, the baked beans could have used seasoning, and the BBQ sauce was a huge letdown - no smoke/spice there. Everything smelled amazing and looked great, so I really wanted to love it, but the food just didn't deliver. The service was excellent, if it was just about that. Maybe it's just a different style of barbecue. I like a lot of seasoning, flavor, and spice and I didn't get any of that here. Nothing stood out as decent. Recommendations? Is there something better on the menu I missed?

They made great suggestions that did not disappoint. The food was amazing, fresh, unique, and really flavorful without being over the top. The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. We have now gone back to the brewery just because we knew Meaty Boyz was there! The first time we tried the empanadas, and the brisket bowl. The empanada dough was perfectly tender and the meat was seasoned just right. The bowl had delicious smoked brisket, roasted sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, and chickpeas, drizzle of tahini sauce, and BBQ sauce. The second time we went my husband got the pulled pork bowl again (he liked it too much to change!) and I got their Chopped Cheez. OMG. I have had many days since that I have craved that dang chopped cheese! This was the first chopped cheese I've tried, but since then I've tried a few others and they don't compare at all! It had ground beef chopped up (like a burger patty) with grilled onions and melted cheese all on a really delicious roll, with lettuce, tomato and an awesome white bbq sauce... my mouth is watering! The awesome part of them being at Resolute (and other breweries) is that we get to enjoy delicious beer and bring our pup! She LOVES it!

We got one "Back Bay"(Clam Strips with a side, he chose fries) and one Lobster Cakes with a side (Baked Beans for me) and we HAD to sample the potato salad after seeing the person before us dig into theirs. The baked beans were filled with bacon and the flavor of the love that went into making these traditional favorite. Karen, the owner, is the real deal. A nor'easter to the bone, and she loves enlightening the uninitiated to the ways of Boston, whether it's her wicked awesome food, her New England Patriots paraphernalia (You'll forgive her quickly once you taste her food), or her super friendly nature. Pancakes were great, nice and fluffy sausages had a good flavor and crispy bite. Scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy. For my own taste, I'd prefer real eggs instead of egg beaters.But. that's just me. Also, they had toppings also. Strawberries, whipped cream , syrup. You know the usual stuff So. All in all. I'd recommend this crew to come to your place and treat your team to a good pancake breakfast. Sorry, no pictures, but I promise. You won't be disappointed.
