Had the privilege of visiting this very lovely "boulangerie" when I was in the area...had all sorts of items: 1) spinach salmon quiche - delicious 2) a plain regular croissant - they warmed up for me: was light, fluffy; delicate that had a wonderful buttery flavor. 3) Almond pain au chocolates - every bit so lovely 4) French flan caramel - sweet decadent and wonderful end to any meal. All washed down by an Americano. The décor of the bakery was demure and modest which I liked Lastly the loveliest person attended to me as I was making my choices. The experience here was wonderful in every way! I may not be back for a while but happy I had the experience and know where to go for next time. read more

Unbeknownst to me, this delightful bakery cafe changed owners last September. Yesterday I met the new owner, Katrina--who is not French but has an extensive background, having lived in many countries. As I expected, the food was great, and care of customers was superb. Jennifer also was a delight. We went for a late lunch, which was perfect timing, as it can get very busy here. We felt so welcome! I loved introducing 2 friends to this special place. They are doing some remodeling, so I'm excited to visit again in a couple of weeks to see the changes. read more

Love everything about this place. The food is fantastic and so are the owner and staff. Remodeled recently and adorabs! Highly recommend. read more

Service is also clearly terrible.... How this place is still in business must be afloat from the pastries only. . They need a lesson on quality warm dishes or take them off the menu or charge less & service. Much rather get a legit breakfast from a sit down restaurant like the Perfect Landing or something similar.... read more

La Baguette de Normandy - Extremely chewy/tough breakfast sandwich & potatoes that were probably made the day before and reheated for $17!! . - Bakeries Near Me - Parker, Colorado

Stopped by here on the way to a friends house. It was around 11am and I was lucky there was still some goodies left. I decided to pick up a box of various pastries: fruit tarts, cookies, croissants, turnovers, bear claws and a baguette. I arrived at my friends' house knowing they don't really like sweets.. but perhaps they would try some after lunch with some coffee. We cut most of the pastries in fours so we can each get a bite (I have me a sweet tooth...) but to my surprise, they loved every bite!.. and they don't even like sweets! The croissants were buttery and fluffy, the fruit tarts were divine and the baguette was perfect. They were surprised this bakery was right around the corner from their house and insisted on the address as they said they'd want to come back to check the place out. I told them there were lucky to have such an amazing bakery so close to their place. Whenever I'm in the area, I stop in for a treat. One to share, two for me! The employees are always super friendly and helpful too. Definitely a place to check out! It will become a favorite! read more

Fantastic bakery with great customer service. They clearly take a ton of pride in what they do. Food service times can get busy, but you can call ahead for takeout instead. Easy access of Lincoln & easy parking too. read more

Tres Bon! We were the very 1 st one today. Pulled into the parking lot not sure of their hours. Open 6:30 am on Saturday's. The owner greeted us with that French accent. This adds the extra touch that other bakery can not add. She says lots of choices and she wasn't kidding. The whole bakery case was filled to the rim, shows casing all of their delicious goodies. Ended up getting salmon quiche from the cold case, almond croissant, very beautiful looking blueberry tart and berry croissant. Came out just below $30. We could had table side service but to-go was our option. I could see bunch of pâtissier working hard in the back. ~~ Now I m loaded with extra carbs ~~ Bon appetite! read more

Very busy as u would expect a good local bakery to be. Homey and humbell! Friendly and service up front customer first!

A gem in Parker - was amazed when I walked in so many treats. Eclaires, fruit tarts, napoleons, all kinds of tarts and French cakes. Breads and croissants and adorable cookies. I got the Croque Madame, cookies and a Napoleon and plan to be back for some special order Petit fours and other goodies. read more

I've been buying items from La Baguette for a few years, so am surprised to see that I haven't reviewed them yet. For starters, I always look forward to stopping in. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful, and there is always so much to choose from! So many sweet and savory items! It's always difficult to choose from so many gorgeous selections. Lately, I have been buying their whole Forestiere Quiche (mushrooms and bacon). The whole quiche is about $40 and serves 6 generously. I buy it for the two of us, slice it, and freeze four of the slices for later (thaw it overnight in the fridge and it reheats very well). For birthdays (when a cake is too much), we've started buying an assortment of their one-serving pastries to have over two or three days. I'm glad they're close (but not too close) to us. This is our go-to place for quiche. read more

After looking on Yelp for bakeries, I saw this French bakery in Parker. When I walked inside, it looked just like patisserie's in Paris. Lots of croissants, cookies, quiche and gateaux. They have multiple breads to make sandwiches. They offer sweet & savory crepes. I was served by the owner's wife to get my first Cafe au Lait and a heated Pain au Chocolat. Very fresh croissant. After looking at the large menu and the refrigerated cases, I got a second Cafe au Lait and a slice of Forestiere quiche made with mushroom, bacon, onion & rosemary from Blanca. Good price of $9 for the heated quiche on a plate ($7.79 for takeout). I met some regulars having their classic French breakfast, Petit Dejenner. Blanca said they have been here in Parker for 18 years after moving from Normandy. No additional service charge. The only restroom is difficult to access in a wheelchair. The menu posted on the wall is old with covered up prices. They freely offer 2 menus. read more

Authentic French bakery, yes. You'll find everything you're looking for and more. It's like stepping into Disneyland's cafés but better. The owner was there and was speaking French to a customer. This place got really busy while we were here so it's well sought after. Yelp suggested this place and it was a spot on suggestion. There's a full menu outside to peruse before going in. Both dine in a take out were available. Seemed like a nice light lunch spot. What I didn't love was that there were no prices on anything outside of the pastry counter. All of the prices were blocked out on every menu. And Yelp's pricing must have been from 5 years ago. Aka the last time someone posted a picture of their menu. Because when we ordered two crepes, they came out to $34 after tax. Ummmmm. I almost wanted to walk out and go somewhere else. But we tried it out and our consensus was it was authentic, delicious, and their bechamel was really good. Was it worth it? Depends on what you are looking for. Would I come back for the crepes? No. They were very filling and delicious. Don't get me wrong. I'm not doubting the quality. I just wish they were more transparent with the cost. Their breads and bakery options may be worth a shot. read more

Wonderful little local French bakery with many sweets and treats to choose from. Bread is fabulous, and the quiche is my favorite. Croissants and pain au chocolate are also delicious. Service is generally friendly, sometimes I can even speak French with the owner. Ambience is quaint, could use some updating. Pricing is fair, yet expensive; in line with what I would expect given the high-quality product received. A wonderful choice to pick up special occasion cakes, and desserts! read more

La Baguette (The Bread Stick) Napoleon requested the round loaf of bread to be made into skinny stick shape with specific measurements to slide into the soldiers' uniform for better travel. de Normandy (Of old French Normanz meaning "northman") is a region of modern day France. In 1066CE, the Norman Conquest led by William the Conqueror (Duke of Normandy) defeated Harold II (the last Anglo-Saxon king) and became the new King of England. Pâtisserie are delicate treats requiring well-trained hands that can execute them flawlessly. France and Belgium have laws to restrict its use to bakeries who employ licensed maître pâtissier (master pastry chefs). Boulangerie means bakery, the difference is that while pâtissiers work with mostly cold ingredients, a boulanger (or baker) will master the techniques and processes of warm rising dough. Viennoserie refers to the style of Vienna, Austria. While they did not originate in France, viennoiseries rose to prominence after an Austrian military official, August Zang opened a bakery Boulangerie Viennoise in Paris, who invented the famous croissant. 21 FEB 2023 AD/CE I went back to my old Parker stomping grounds to find Le Bakery is still there. The shopping center has Stonegate Cafe, hot wings, and a USPS store at the end. I've played poker couple times at the Irish bar, now it's called Triple Bs. Alright since we've gotten the history out of the way, let's talk about the dough. I got the last Sourdough Miche to go and the palmiers were only $1. They don't have many tables for large groups, but the setting is very Parisian like and they also serve quiches and crepes. *Napolean ("Mille-feuille" means thousand-sheets") it's made up of three layers of puff pastry (pâte feuilletée), alternating with two layers of pastry cream (crème pâtissière). They have a berry flavor and also a praline one that adds crunch to the bite. I've had many pastries from here and they were all good. I've seen some reviews saying the service can be unfriendly sometimes. The alternative is to go to Starbucks for better smile service and eat microwave foods. I've been frequenting La Baguette de Normandy for years and I am long overdue to give a review. This is an attractive, petite restaurant and bakery. They consistently have a beautiful display of baked goods five days a week (see pictures). The food is real French food and delicious. The name of the place reflects their award-winning traditional baguette. They make the best baguette I've ever had in the US, the best since I was in France decades ago. And it won best baguette across Normandy, which means it is the best of the best. There is free, ample parking at the location as well. Closed Sundays and Mondays. read more

After a year of swinging by here once a month, I think its about time for me to write a review! This local gem is located right on the outskirts of Parker. Their staff members are always friendly and keep the line moving. However, if you plan to stop by on the weekend, I highly suggest coming in earlier in the day and allot at least 30 minutes for the visit. It gets super busy and sometimes, they do run out of their goodies. Pastries are always made with quality ingredients and so delicious! I would recommend trying their chocolate tart, raspberry glasses cookies and one of their savory items. They have all their sweet items on display, it is so tempting to buy it all! If you are money conscious, make sure to keep track of how many you get because I, unfortunately, am terrible at keep track so my bill comes out ~40-50 dollars. To me, it is so worth it because of two reasons: pastries are always so amazing and it is a small local business! read more

Right when you walk into La Baguette de Normandy, the smell of a fresh bakery hits you. You immediately see the case full of intricate, decadent pastries. I notice the customer in front of me is conversing with one of the workers in French. Good sign! I am then greeted by another employee ready to help me. I start ordering trying to flub my way through the pronunciations of whatever is catching my eye. The lady helping me was understanding and patient, actually taking the time to make sure I got everything I was wanting. It was now the next customer's turn to order. She also ordered and conversing in French. Double good sign! We opened the pastries upon returning home. OH MY GOSH! Everything tasted fresh and fantastic. I could tell that these were made with actual ingredients and not a bunch of shortcut mixes. Time and experience went into these. I can't wait to come back and try other things! read more

We've been here several times and unfortunately found it to be uneven: - Quiches- 5. Excellent when hot, wide variety. - Pain au Chocolat (chocolate croissant)-3. We got this at 2 pm and it was already dry. Costco croissants actually better! - Mixed Berry napoleon- 1. looks great but the cream was thick like a stick of butter. Inedible after first bite. - Lemon meringue tart- 3. Too sweet. Good lemon flavor but drowned out by sugar - Baguette- 5. Just make sure you get there early as they sell out and the baguette once bought loses its freshness within hours - Blueberry danish- 1. The one I got had not been fully baked so the cheese was mealy and thick. Maybe associated with this, a few hours later had intense abdominal pains for hours. Often crowded. Decent service. But be careful what you get and make sure to go early. Closed unfortunately Sunday just when breakfast or brunch would be ideal (also closed Mondays). read more

The pastries were wonderful- and the owner is clearly a French woman who brings the passion of her heritage to the food she creates. I thought the cinnamon roll was especially delicious because of the way the sugars had melted and formed something like a toffee almost at the bottom - mmm, so good! -the pastries were served cold, and they were not as flaky as the pictures made them look to be. -the ambience in the cafe is a bit drab and run down- although the owner's personal presence somewhat makes up for this... read more

Ooh la la! This place is legit! Great breads, croissants, and cookies galore. The service here is very good and the staff are friendly. What a delightful surprise! It may look small inside and outside, but the selection is vast and the staff are amazing and inviting. This lovely lady, presumably the owner, greeted us and helped us out in picking our pastries. I had an incredible Napoleon, and my brother left no crumbs with his berry tart. They also have breakfast and lunch options such as crepes and quiches, so I will definitely come back for those! They also pack up things quickly and in very cute dome boxes. A wonderful little French bakery! Breads and pastries, and breakfast and lunch items are available. The pastries and breads looked fabulous. There are a few tables so that you can dine inside with a couple of tables outside also. Or stand in line to order your Parisian delights. My husband and I dined in. I had the French toast and a café au lait and he had the breakfast crêpe and coffee. The food was excellent. The coffee taste like it does in Europe. The service was excellent and very attentive. This place is really one of the gems of Parker. I've been lucky to go to France a few times in my life, and it's such an unexpected surprise to have a wonderful French bakery in our little town. From desserts to breakfasts to sandwiches, LBdN has a great selection in a small, but lovely atmosphere. It gets REALLY busy on Saturdays, but it's otherwise totally manageable during its limited, daytime-focused hours, which really make a lot of sense because this wouldn't really be a dinner spot (and I'm sure they're in here VERY early getting everything ready daily). The many eye-catching desserts are usually about the same price as a fancy cupcake, which makes this a great place to stop by if you're responsible for picking up dessert for friends. They also have full loaves of bread that cost much less than bread you'd pick up at Denver Central Market, and it's much less mass produced. If you're in the area and it isn't late, stop by LBdN. You'll be glad you did. read more
