Welcome to Alice & Kate Boutique Bakery
Corey B.

We were told there was a soft opening this weekend. The bakery had a few people on it while one of the owners worked to get listed on a social media platform. When she was done she offered us a couple of macarons. We had the Cookie & Cream and Strawberry. Both were delicious. The bakery itself seems small but was brightly lit to show off the baked goods.

Breads and several pastries taste stale like freezer burn; over priced and the owner is very rude and comes across very self absorbed.

The ambiance is a cute little french bakery on the corner of the building. Now with a rotating me u its hard to keep up, but here are some thing we have tried. 1. The Parker- oh my is this delish! Flakey with the right amount of sweetness For $28 it is a pretty penny but can be split between two people at least! 2. Stonefruit Tart: about $24 and the fruit was perfectly sweetened, however the tart portion is like a cookie and it was not my fav 3. Choux: passionfruit and mango are such bright flavors and such a complimentary pairing! 4. XL Macarons: all flavors have been amazing! and just different- absolutely a must try! Savory: 1. Spinach Artichoke: this was okay, not a strong flavor but a nice and flakey crust 2. Ham and Cheese: definitely the best savory option, a slight bite from the mustard but a great meaty flavor 3. Pastrami and Sauerkraut, i loved this one but you have to like sauerkraut because it pulls through! Overall this is such a great bakery, my only fault is truly price. It can climb...quickly!!!

Some places are so good that you forget to leave a review and take pictures because you're too busy…read moreenjoying the food. That perfectly describes La Fillette. We've dined inside before, but yesterday we stopped in to pick up pastries and were reminded why this is one of our favorite bakeries in Denver. We grabbed an éclair, a blueberry muffin, and two ham and Swiss croissants. Every single thing was outstanding. The croissants are incredibly flaky and buttery with the perfect ratio of ham and Swiss, the blueberry muffin was moist without being overly sweet, and the éclair disappeared embarrassingly fast. We always have every intention of taking pictures... and then we take one bite and completely forget. That's probably the best compliment we can give. We loved sitting inside, which is intimate, cozy but still roomy. We are looking forward to sitting outside in their patio space. Staff are also exceptional!

We were visiting Denver for Labor Day weekend and obviously we needed to find good breakfast spots…read more La Fillette was highly recommended. The place was modest and quirky, with a random small chandelier adorning this bakery. Families, groups of friends, and cyclists were in the mix of patrons on a Saturday morning. All servers were very friendly, helpful with dish descriptions, and fast! The ham and cheese croissant and a shared cinnamon bun was in the cards. The pastry was flakey, buttery, and very tasty. The sesame, roasted onion and garlic sprinkled on top of the pastry was delightful. The warm cheese and ham inside were also good. The cinnamon bun was a nice mix of croissant and cinnamon bun; also flaky and buttery. I am guessing flakey, soft, and buttery is their signature! One minor thing, that coffee was not good, but the food made up for it. Overall, this was a very nice place that got us interested in all the pastries with that buttery flavor. For sure a recommend for visitors and locals.
