I keep telling myself I'll review Born2Bake when I have a picture to post but the baked goods always get eaten before I have a chance. So here I am to say how amazing this bakery is, despite not having pictures to post. Born2Bake is everything you want in a bakery and coffee shop. They are a locally owned small businesses making things from scratch and you can tell how much care went into your food every time you visit. The pastries are fresh, expertly made, and there is a lot of variety from croissants, to savory breakfast items to some really decadent cakes. It's located in downtown Littleton, and the inside ambiance is a cozy and welcoming environment to either stop in for a coffee and some pastries to go or sit down at one of their tables. Our granddaughter ordered a couple dozen cupcakes for our great granddaughter's 3rd birthday party and we were assigned to pick them up. Located in the cute downtown area of Littleton, parking was easy to find for us to run in an pick them up. Cute, clean bakery with lots of goodies on display. They also offer sandwiches, soups, coffee, etc. and there are tables to sit at. Saw several yummy cakes, pastries, cupcakes I'd like to eat! So the two dozen we got were a combination of chocolate, vanilla, carrot, chocolate peanut butter, funfetti, lemon, almond, etc. And each were decorated with hints as to the flavor you could expect. The cakes were light, fluffy, and airy and the frosting was spectacular. They use a creamy buttercream with no grit, just light and tasty with flavors that match the cupcakes. I purchased 3 cupcakes for my birthday Sunday. Only "1" of them was fresh, the other two were stale and not edible. I guess I should have inquired about their "freshness" but didn't know I would have to as all other bakeries sell old cupcakes as "day old" with a reduced price. It is the transparent, smart thing to do. To inform your customers exactly what they're buying and not try to pass off the old cupcakes as fresh at full price. I was so disappointed that I have decided. I will no longer purchase any treats from this establishment and will drive to Centennial to cake heads. Be aware! I happened to be in Littleton with my man over the weekend, and we spotted this cute little bakery in the heart of downtown Littleton. I love cake and coffee etc and once I peaked inside I knew we had to grab us a pastry from behind the counter. I got a crispy chocolate croissant that was just the right amount of sweetness for a Saturday morning. I also got a mocha latte which hit the spot. Customer service was very friendly and our sweets came out very quickly I was impressed. Everything tasted very good and fresh, including his almond butter croissant as well. My friend has the most epic 80's themed cake made by this bakery. I totally assumed the cake was mostly fondant and it was not. The buttercream was amazing and not sickening sweet like you find in many cakes. The design was phenomenal. The cake was so delicious. I am not a big sweets eater, but I had two pieces. After visiting multiple bakeries in the Greater Denver Area, we chose Born2Bake for our wedding cake. What sold us was that their cupcakes were nice and moist and packed with so much flavor. We started with a cake tasting which gave us the opportunity to try four different cake flavors, fillings, and frostings. There were so many wonderful tasting options so it made our decision difficult. When it came to ordering the cake, Nicha was so helpful. She walked us through different cake sizes and servings so we could decide what to order. We had two cakes, one for an intimate ceremony and one for a large party, and she made the process so easy for both of the orders. We had told her we would be making a long drive after picking up the small cake, so she even froze it for us so it would keep safe during our travels. On the day of the delivery for the large cake, she was so patient and helpful with getting the cake set up, and even did last minute decorations for us when she saw we were busy with other set up. We cannot thank Nicha enough for her help and service! The cakes were such a hit with all of our guests. We also ordered gluten free and vegan cupcakes, and our guests with dietary restrictions were so excited to have delicious treats they could eat. My wife got the bacon and egg croissant, and I got the sausage croissant and a spinach and feta puff, along with black coffee for me and cappuccino and a bottomless mimosa for my wife. Ordered a custom cake 2 weeks in advance and sent reference photos. The day of pickup I arrived early. While waiting, one worker let me know their printer was running out of ink so the cake toppers were discolored. I ended up having to come back a few hours later when they had it fixed. At first glance, the cake looked really nice and I was impressed. But once I got home I realized the cake toppers were still discolored! I pulled up the reference photo for the first time in weeks to compare, and the difference was disheartening! The cake itself was about 3 shades lighter than the reference, and the icing details weren't as intricate. Also looks as though no work was put into shading the fruit rollups. And my friend (who the cake was for) pointed out that the Wanda didn't even match. They used a photo of her before she even becomes the scarlet witch. I'm just frustrated because the toppers weren't prepared, were STILL discolored, and weren't even the same. & I even paid extra for them! But I honestly could have over looked all of that if the cake was actually good. Unfortunately though, that wasn't the case. The cake was super dry. And the top icing seemed to taste off. We didn't even have 3 bites before I tossed it out and I went to get a store bought one. The women at the shop were very nice. They just weren't prepared for this order. Okay - I'm so lucky that this place is so far from my house because it is seriously dangerous. It's so delicious and cute. We recently attended a farmers market outside of their venue and saw how ridiculously packed they were so we skipped them. Then , about a week later My husband bought me a lemon, blueberry cake from them since I had a medical procedure that put me out for a couple of days. Holy grail of lemon cakes. I mean... this thing was deliciously moist and the frosting was perfection in good form. I highly recommend to anyone looking to impress someone with baked goods. They really are the real deal! Okay!! Let's talk customer service... this adorable small bakery cafe has the sparkle for sure! I called today for some last minute cupcakes and the gentleman I spoke to took the time to tell me what they had baked. Not only that, I asked if he could maybe put some aside for me and I would swing over quickly. He was agreeable and I drove that way! Let me say the store is just darling and had the sweetest scents!! I was greeted promptly and not only did the gentleman I spoke to put the cupcakes aside for me, he had them beautiful packaged already too!! This bakery is simply amazing. After moving to Littleton, I have been in search of a good spot for baked goods. After some research and failed attempts, I stopped into Born2Bake for pastries and coffee. Firstly, the space is so cozy and comforting. When you walk in your are greeted by the warm smell of sugar and butter baking. Our pastries were amazing! While there, the cakes in the window caught my eye, so I kept this place in the back of my mind for when we needed a cake for a special occasion. A couple months later I ordered one for my daughter's birthday. The cake itself was beautiful and wowed all of our guests. What's more - it was so delicious and moist. The buttercream frosting was not too sweet. I can't tell you how many times we have ordered a cake that looked amazing but was dry or just tasted bad. I was hanging out in downtown Littleton, which is such a cute area. I walked by Born2Bake and thought it looked really sweet so I had to stop inside. The desserts looked delicious. I tried the cinnamon roll. They heated it up and brought it out on a plate. It looked amazing and tasted really nice. The roll was sweet with a buttery and flaky texture. The cream was really smooth. I fell in love with Born2Bake last year by having their lemon blueberry cake at Grande Station. The offerings in their store are even better. This is just the best little bakery and coffee shop. On my most recent visit, I had a chai tea latte and shared a lemon tart and Biscoff cake. The tart was the perfect lemon flavor and a good mix between sweet and tart. The cake was even better!
