Went by to pick a few baked goods for a brunch . Was definitely a hit and will definitely be going back in the future.

Honestly not really sure what the rave is about. The two slices of cake I got were harden and I ate it in about 5 hours, so either the cake just doesn't do well in the fridge and needs to sit out or they gave me day old cake slices, which is awful. I would assume they're freshly baked. I gave an extra star because I wanna give them the benefit of the doubt that I went in at the wrong time on the wrong day. The flavor of the hard cake seemed decent, not too sweet so that's good also. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch and was very pleased to see they still had a ham and cheese roll available - they are usually gone in the morning. My daughter and I shared that along with a blueberry cream cheese danish. Both were so good - this baker knows his dough! Flaky, buttery, just a little sweet - and I just can't seem to put it down. They have everything you'd ever want in a bakery including some savory items, salads, soup and sandwiches. They have a good selection of coffee drinks as well as teas. There was a pretty steady stream of customers even though it was mid-afternoon. The owner also runs the shop and we did get a chance to briefly chat with him. He was such a nice guy that I felt especially good about frequenting this local small business. They're open seven days a week and provide carryout. I highly recommend this bakery - it's so much more than just a bakery (as if that wasn't enough!) read more

An adorable bakery in Old Town Littleton with some delicious baked goods. We came in on a Saturday looking for some sweets and weren't disappointed. We came pretty early at 7:30 and had the whole place to ourselves. Everything in the display cases looked great but we ended up picking an almond croissant and blueberry scone along with a vanilla latte. Everything was great and I had my eye on a couple other items that I'll have to try at another time. The interior is absolutely darling and would be fun to hang out here. They have great seating areas and then a wall in the back with a bunch of spraypainted baking items. read more

So, I'm sitting here wondering why 4 people can not keep this store running. The customer in front of me was looking for a cinnamon roll. They explained they didn't have time to make more. Got the vanilla and chocolate buttercream cakes. Really flavorful, and you can tell the bakers have Asian influence as the cakes and frosting are not cloyingly sweet. Only critique is the buttercream, which was heavy on the fat and was too much in quantity between layers and the exterior. read more

I just went here for the first time this weekend because I was walking in downtown Littleton on Saturday and needed some dessert for Mother's Day. It seemed like they had limited options available for walk ins which is completely understandable given that it was a holiday the following day. Monday afternoon I got a call from a friend asking me to find vegan cupcakes for Tuesday. Not much notice and being an ex baker myself I went straight to Yelp to see what options I had. Most of the vegan options in Denver were coming in much further north so I reloaded my map to near where I live and Born2Bake popped up and sure enough I saw some vegan reviews. I made the call -and was told they normally need 48 hours notice. The girl took my order and down payment and then said if there was any problem getting them done she'd call me back. So grateful I did not get the call and my cupcakes were available Tuesday at 4:30. The cupcakes themselves were tasty, fresh and well done. Very happy with my new find. Visited Denver, Colorado family, but was brought to this quaint cozy bakery in Littleton. A neighboring city/town. The macarons were flavorful and delicate. Have been thrilled with their savory selections for breakfast in the past, so we came for lunch this time and were very happy with turkey & ham and ham & cheese sandwiches on wonderful mini loaves of bread. First of all, they absolutely bake in house. We got fresh out of the oven breakfast puffs today, and they were amazing. Gooey egg in the middle with pesto and juicy tomatoes, all snuggled up in hot, crispy flaky yumminess. So, don't believe everything you read in other reviews. Hovenly...Ovenly? Either way, they also get high marks for friendly customer service (without being cloying) and a quaint, cozy vibe. The place isn't trying too hard to be uber hipster, but still has a modern feel. I could've easily hung out longer, but we had stuff to do. As I said, food was killer and they cover a lot of bases with gluten free and vegan options. But I'd like to see them expand and provide more variety in the future. It just feels like a coffee place that serves pastries instead of a bakery that offers coffee. Gotta figure out that identity. Lattes were good, and they use Corvus. I just wish they'd serve coffee in real mugs vs to-go cups. It's also a tad small for the price (everything is a little spendy), and I hope they'll switch to almond milk made for specialty coffee drinks. The milk broke in my wife's latte and we had to ask for a new drink. And not to nag, but stevia would be super appreciated. For the most part, these guys are doing all the right things and will hopefully get better and better in time. We'll be back to try more delicious pastries soon! read more

Stopped in here today for the first time, and I definitely see many more visits in my future! I've always been surprised that downtown Littleton didn't have a bakery, so this place is such a welcome addition - and on top of that, they're absolutely delicious! Sampled the Berries and Cream and Banana Pudding cakes. The Berries & Cream is a three-tiered beauty, a perfectly moist vanilla cake with a light whipped cream frosting and plenty of berries stuffed in between layers. The Banana Pudding cake is composed of layers of banana pudding (I believe homemade, too - nothing tasted artificial!), chocolate cake, vanilla cake, more pudding and real bananas, and whipped cream on top. They were both absolutely heavenly...or should I say "hovenly"?! This place is absolutely adorable on the inside as well - white and grey with a cute little bricked-in fireplace and a few tables in the back, with old wooden floors and a wall full of white-painted kitchen gear. So fun! I'll have to go back soon to snag some Thai Chicken Curry croissants (the Matcha ones sound great too!) and some macarons. Not sure if the baked goods will stay for a while or be constantly rotating, but hopefully stuff sticks around long enough for me to sample most of it ;) This place seems to have changed their name soon after opening, so you might see them referred to in different places as "Hovenly Bakeshop" instead of Born2Bake, but they are the same! I hope these guys stick around for a long time and continue to churn out some awesome goods - they're already my new favorite place in downtown Littleton! read more

Also, the throw rug under the small table in the front of the shop needed serious vacuuming. Spinach feta puff was savory and delicious. Wow. Great place to have a brunch. They have a lot of dessert options but they have lunch as well. They make everything in house besides 3 items. Their breakfast pastries are just right. The have tomato pesto egg on a puff pastry and a bacon egg on puff pastry. Perfect for on the go. They also have a liquor license. So they are able to serve mimosas and so much more.
