Love this place haven't been in awhile since we moved in Thornton but my mom brought me some the other day and my new favorite are these cheese flatbread sticks!

***DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER's BAD REVIEWS! NEW OWNER*** They made my best friend's birthday cake. She's a pianist, and look at this lovely decorations!!! Since then, i basically order all my friends/families/loved ones cakes from here. They're very flexible too. I don't like too much sweetness and they made it perfect for me. Just ask!! Highly recommend this hidden gem

We got a sweet potato cake from this bakery and it was absolutely delicious. We are going to go to this place again. 100% recommend

I don't have to explain what that is, right? Taken June 6, 2013. This cake was actually in the display with 6 others

If I could give this bakery a Zero, I would LOVE to....because that would be the honest score of the place. *see pictures* The other day I bought a small bread thing. There wasnt much to choose from, so I just chose the one that looked freshest. The cashier (she seemed to be the owner?) was too busy talking on the phone to bother with me, so I took the time to look at their display case. From a distance I saw yummy looking creme cakes. As I got closer I started feeling a little queasy but I thought, nahhhh, that CANNOT BE what I think it is. SURE ENOUGH, IT WAS. IT WAS MOLD ON THE CAKES, EVERY SINGLE ROTTEN ONE. Please see the pictures that I uploaded. You cant tell from the pictures, but the middle of the cakes were sunken in, because the middle rotted obviously. The top of the cakes had orange, strawberries, and the remnants of kiwi....... I think? It was too deformed for me to tell exactly what the fruit HAD BEEN BEFORE it rotted. If this is any indicator of how they deal with hygiene.... They are obviously too lazy to even take a quick glance at their cakes and think "oh, that's mold. I should probably trash that and sanitize the surface, then replace the cake with a FRESH one." This is rude and just plain gross.

Love this bakery! Very polite and friendly staff! The cake and pastries are beautiful and delicious. I received a complimentary bread with my cake purchase which was a nice surprise! I highly recommend it!

The ube latte was perfectly sweet with a strong ube flavor. The crème brûlée cruffin had a top that was so crispy from the toasted sugar that I couldn't cut into it, and the bottom was just stuffed full of cream. It was super messy to eat and impossible to share- next time I am getting my own. We also had the pandan coconut cupcake, which was good but not as exciting as the cruffin. The pandan and coconut were both equally strong flavors- I liked it better than my husband did. The Thai tea cake in a cup was also excellent, but outshone by the cruffin. They were out of a few other things we wanted to try by 11am on a Saturday, so get there early if you want something specific. The gentleman running the counter was very friendly and efficient, even when they were busy. Seriously, get the crème brûlée cruffin. I know I will be back for it.

The space is cozy, welcoming, and a great place to relax with a cup of coffee. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee because, as a Vietnamese customer, I was excited to taste a familiar flavor from home. Unfortunately, it didn't taste like traditional Vietnamese coffee. It was quite mild and lacked the bold, rich flavor and sweetness that Vietnamese coffee is known for. I truly hope the owner will consider refining the recipe to make it more authentic. It would make the experience even better for Vietnamese customers looking for the taste of home, while also introducing others to what real Vietnamese coffee is supposed to taste like. Overall, I still enjoyed my visit and wish this local business continued success.

We've dined inside before, but yesterday we stopped in to pick up pastries and were reminded why this is one of our favorite bakeries in Denver. We grabbed an éclair, a blueberry muffin, and two ham and Swiss croissants. Every single thing was outstanding. The croissants are incredibly flaky and buttery with the perfect ratio of ham and Swiss, the blueberry muffin was moist without being overly sweet, and the éclair disappeared embarrassingly fast. We always have every intention of taking pictures... and then we take one bite and completely forget. That's probably the best compliment we can give. We loved sitting inside, which is intimate, cozy but still roomy. We are looking forward to sitting outside in their patio space. Staff are also exceptional!

Today I wanted a morning bun to cheer me up after dropping my dog at the vet. Ordering online (which I think is still the only way they want you to get takeout?), I saw that morning. Buns were not available today. What a bummer. So I ordered a Kouign Amman then when I arrived for pick up, what is in the display case but morning buns. The Kouign is delicious but it is also pretty darn small. It's the size of a muffin. Then when I was there, I added a big pretzel and that came to ... $18. It's VERY big but seems like maybe $10-$12 would be luxury pricing instead of $16. I'll probably come back because it's near my house and it is so tasty, but if I had to drive, this might be the death knell. I have a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth. And an empty belly.

Such a home-y vibe!…read more It's inside of a church! I was driving a friend from Centennial to Aurora and this place was perfectly on the way. Literally nothing much else around AT ALL. It was a SINGLE pin on my google map - no pins near it at all! I must have pinned this at some point as "a place to go to sometime when in the area" but I really can't remember pinning it and am not sure why I would pin a coffee shop located in a church! However! This is the second coffee shop that I've seen in Denver while driving by - like located as part of a massive church, so it was interesting to actually be checking it out. It was a weekday and there was a vast parking lot and there were like 4 cars. LOTS of parking! Once inside, I immediately relaxed! Didn't even know I was tense! There was so much to look at and it smelled so good inside. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Something baked tho. My eyes wandered everywhere over the various retail areas, the furniture - couches to patio furniture, the people behind the counter, the various large chalkboards, menus, etc. Lots to look at. I wound up getting a spicy chai! I never order chai! I must have been under some strange spell from being immersed in the warm comforting baked goods aroma! The spicy chai had KICK! It was so good that I ordered a second one to go! My friend ordered that ham+cheese biscuit which looked amazing, with those cheese legs dripping! Whoa! It was such a nice coffee + conversation vibe. I would totally go again if I am ever in that area again! Oh! The 2 behind the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable about their vast variety of menu and drink items!

I got the cardamom bun latte. I was expecting more spiced flavor, I didn't really get that. While I wouldn't get that same drink again, I got this donut cake pastry that was absolutely phenomenal. I wish it would have been a bit thicker but all in all it was very scrumptious. For that donut cake alone I would definitely come back.
