a birthday cake with space theme
    Marissa A.

This bakery was amazing! When I asked my son what he wanted for his fourth birthday all he kept saying was an outer space astronaut cake. I bought my own astronauts for the top and told her all I needed was a simple purple, dark blue, and light blue swirl cake with some white flecks for stars and I'd add the cake topper. The cake we picked up was better than I could have ever expected! She added little plants and stars and a banner with his name. When I showed my son he was jumping up and down with excitement!!! He loved it! Added bonus that it tasted amazing too!!

Green tea cake with whipped icing and fresh fruit

Green tea birthday cake- It was gorgeous & so delicious! Every guest complemented on it and asked where we got it. The green tea is just slightly sweet and was perfectly balanced with the whipped icing and fruit. The baker is such a sweet woman who genuinely cares about her work. Can't wait to try more of her baked goods!

I needed a cake with day's notice and this baker listened to what we wanted. I wanted a fruit cake with less frosting and not overly sweet because my parents prefer Asian cakes. She was able to adapt to this and even wrote happy birthday in Chinese. It was a beautiful cake and my parents liked it. The cake was moist and had the right texture. I would've liked more fruit and fruit variety in the cake, but it was fine.

Heavenly, delicious Christmas cake, or cake for any occasion! The layered fruit was juicy and fresh, i dont know how they keep the fruit so crunchy and the cake so spongy. Not soggy at all! Indeed the freshest cake and baked goods in Aurora! I will highly recommend this Korean bakery to anyone.

New York Bakery has exceptional customer service where they make every customer feel like a member of their family! They make excellent custom cake orders, even if you have a tight deadline! Mia was able to accommodate me last minute with my days notice request and she did not disappoint. I had a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like, and she was able to execute and was very kind throughout the whole process. The cake was beautiful, moist and made with love. It also wasn't super sweet like most cakes, everyone was complimenting the cake saying how delectable it was. I love supporting minority owned establishments and this is a bakery that I will continue to support forever.

New York Bakery! Once again you SHINE Thru.. This time around with your GREEN TEA CAKE! My Oh My! It was indeed delicious, SUPER MOIST and the Icing Cream indeed MELT in my mouth! In between the two layers of the Green Tea Cake, New York Bakery, put slices of Peaches with the Buttercream Icing. My Oh My, thankfully, the Green Tea Cake is NOT as sweet, just I like it from my kind of Cakes... The Green Tea Cake got ALOT OF THUMBS UP especially from the Birthday Girl herself and all my friends who had it on Saturday evening, November 8th 2014. PHEW! THANK GOD For That! This smallest cake order of Green Tea was $28. I don't mind returning to you, New York Bakery. Definitely RECOMMENDING you to many more friends I have. See you soon! A BIG THANK YOU to you, New York Bakery! THANK YOU! @208/2014

Ordered cake at 11am and it's ready on time.. cake was soft and taste was great..cake was beautiful too.. like the cake message made by chocolate.. My Husband is not a fan of cake but he really liked it.. Thanks for making my bday in a sweeter way

I did my research when looking for a cake for my sister. I live in Aurora and this bakery is close to the intersection of Iliff and Havana which is not hard to find, it's in the same plaza as the Stampde and OG. What I liked about the cake was the fact the it wasn't as sweet as other cakes, the frosting was the only thing truly sweet. I've received multiple compliments about the taste of the cake. I also LOVED the design of my sister's cake and believe she was stunned when we revealed the cake. The owners/workers were truly willing to make the cake and listened to what I said. Thank you I will be coming back

Great place, super good prices at 1.50 per roll. The cream filling in both the vanilla and chocolate roll was fantastic, 100x better than most places. Good flavored dough too, lightly sweet and perfect

    two cakes with different toppings

Delicious, light and fluffy! Last minute decision and we are happy to have found my son's birthday cake. Reasonable price and everyone enjoyed both cakes.

Got a custom fruit cake in Frozen theme made yesterday and to say the least, it was absolutely delicious!!! Miyoen choi was very professional and helped me choose the exact cake and toppers I was looking for. Everyone loved the cake. It was fresh, not too sweet and very affordable.

Ordered my birthday cake from here. Took in a picture from Yelp and said I wanted a green tea cake with a whip cream type frosting with fruit on top. Giving a 2 day notice, she made it happen. The cake came with candles and plastic knife. The cake was moist and not too sweet, fair price. The pastries are good here as well.

The ube latte was perfectly sweet with a strong ube flavor. The crème brûlée cruffin had a top that was so crispy from the toasted sugar that I couldn't cut into it, and the bottom was just stuffed full of cream. It was super messy to eat and impossible to share- next time I am getting my own. We also had the pandan coconut cupcake, which was good but not as exciting as the cruffin. The pandan and coconut were both equally strong flavors- I liked it better than my husband did. The Thai tea cake in a cup was also excellent, but outshone by the cruffin. They were out of a few other things we wanted to try by 11am on a Saturday, so get there early if you want something specific. The gentleman running the counter was very friendly and efficient, even when they were busy. Seriously, get the crème brûlée cruffin. I know I will be back for it.

The space is cozy, welcoming, and a great place to relax with a cup of coffee. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee because, as a Vietnamese customer, I was excited to taste a familiar flavor from home. Unfortunately, it didn't taste like traditional Vietnamese coffee. It was quite mild and lacked the bold, rich flavor and sweetness that Vietnamese coffee is known for. I truly hope the owner will consider refining the recipe to make it more authentic. It would make the experience even better for Vietnamese customers looking for the taste of home, while also introducing others to what real Vietnamese coffee is supposed to taste like. Overall, I still enjoyed my visit and wish this local business continued success.

We've dined inside before, but yesterday we stopped in to pick up pastries and were reminded why this is one of our favorite bakeries in Denver. The croissants are incredibly flaky and buttery with the perfect ratio of ham and Swiss, the blueberry muffin was moist without being overly sweet, and the éclair disappeared embarrassingly fast. We always have every intention of taking pictures... and then we take one bite and completely forget. That's probably the best compliment we can give. The Kouign is delicious but it is also pretty darn small. It's the size of a muffin. Then when I was there, I added a big pretzel and that came to ... $18. It's VERY big but seems like maybe $10-$12 would be luxury pricing instead of $16. Such a home-y vibe!…read more It's inside of a church! I was driving a friend from Centennial to Aurora and this place was perfectly on the way. Literally nothing much else around AT ALL. It was a SINGLE pin on my google map - no pins near it at all! I must have pinned this at some point as "a place to go to sometime when in the area" but I really can't remember pinning it and am not sure why I would pin a coffee shop located in a church! However! This is the second coffee shop that I've seen in Denver while driving by - like located as part of a massive church, so it was interesting to actually be checking it out. It was a weekday and there was a vast parking lot and there were like 4 cars. LOTS of parking! Once inside, I immediately relaxed! Didn't even know I was tense! There was so much to look at and it smelled so good inside. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Something baked tho. My eyes wandered everywhere over the various retail areas, the furniture - couches to patio furniture, the people behind the counter, the various large chalkboards, menus, etc. Lots to look at. I wound up getting a spicy chai! I never order chai! I must have been under some strange spell from being immersed in the warm comforting baked goods aroma! The spicy chai had KICK! It was so good that I ordered a second one to go! My friend ordered that ham+cheese biscuit which looked amazing, with those cheese legs dripping! Whoa! It was such a nice coffee + conversation vibe. I would totally go again if I am ever in that area again! Oh! The 2 behind the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable about their vast variety of menu and drink items!
