Nice bakery. I usually always go for an almond croissant but decided to switch it up and went for their Nutella Croissant - it was very good, flaky, did take me about 1/3 way through to get to the Nutella! My husband had the ham and cheese croissant which they warmed up however not as good as the one we got in Monterey, CA at a French patisserie there. Cute location, very hidden. A little expensive but everywhere is now!

I FINALLY got to visit this bakery while it was open on a Saturday morning- truly a treat! I got the pop tart and the seasonal croissant- Irish cream for St Patty's day. Both were very tasty. The croissant layers- wooooo, soooo many layers and soooo crispy!

Superrrrr friendly employee and such a cute shop. We stopped by later in the day and they still had a variety of pastries available. I bought a banana loaf and my cousin bought a bob tart. Both were really good and tasted fresh. The inside is super cute and cozy.

Came here on a Sunday morning and my goodness! The baked goods were such a hit! Located beautifully at the end of the Dairy Block, this bakery is a GEM! I ordered a Cubano (savory ham croissant) for me and my buddies and we absolutely loved it! I also ordered a sweet pastry for my friend: the Blackberry Sage croissant. It was phenomenal! So many good vibes in this place! We were helped by Abby, who's an angel! Really looking forward to coming back!

We were exploring the Dairy Block Alley one night and stumbled across the bakery. Long closed for the day, they did have a sign on the door that said they were "sold out." So naturally, we had to look them up! Great reviews meant we needed to stop by for breakfast. Such a great variety of pastries to choose from that it was hard to pick. Ended up getting one of each - sweet and savory. Their ham and cheese croissant was DELISH - the croissant was flaky and the ham and cheese was the perfect compliment to this breakfast bread. And their passionfruit croissant was DIVINE - just the right amount of sweet and stuffed with a passionfruit custard. Everyone here was so incredibly friendly and kind - made the experience that much better. Can't wait to one day return to try more of their delicious treats.

Anytime I go on a trip I'm always searching for the best bakeries! This place was no exception... It was a little walk from our hotel, which was perfect because I planned on eating my weight in delicious sugary carbs! The location is a little bit hidden... We almost missed it, but I kind of think that's the point. We walked into the tiny shop and were overwhelmed with all of the amazing pastry options! The shop is really cute, we were greeted warmly, and served promptly. We came for a cookie... But left with much more! we pretty much tried one of everything in the shop and we were equally impressed with everything! Can't wait to come back to Denver to eat it all again!

Lovely little bakery in the alley behind the Dairy Block. It has a pretty small footprint with a small table inside and one outside, but there's magic in that oven! We learned the main baker is from Austria and brings the techniques he learned in the old country here! The dude knows what he's doing - we tried a pan de chocolat and grabbed some banana bread for the kids. Both were next level! The pan de chocolat lasted about 6 minutes and we grabbed a second banana bread because the first was half gone within an hour. It was as unique as it was delicious - it incorporated cinnamon, chia seed, and orange zest. It was the least banana-y banana bread we've had and overall we loved it! If you're in the area, you should check it out, and get there early because when stuff is gone for the day, it's gone!

Was walking around the Dairy Block Alley in the afternoon when we saw this bakery. The sign said it was closed early because everything was sold out, and I knew that I definitely had to try their baked goods. Came by the next day and that sign did not lie - I could totally understand how they could sell out their stock. The croissants we got were all perfectly flaky with a tasty filling - so much so that we ended up getting multiple different croissants. If you're hangering for some tasty baked goods, definitely come by and come by early. It's worth the stop.

Not easy to find this place. It's in the alley. Great warm heaters on top of your head to keep you warm. Get the croissants. Yummy

I stayed downtown on a recent trip to Denver. One evening I visited friends for dinner and needed to bring a sweet treat. I gave LoDough a shot because of its proximity to my hotel and its reviews. Succinctly - it is a cute shop with wonderful staff and great products. The individual who helped me spent time with me identify a range of treats for a varied set of preferences and needs. To that end, this bakery offers a wide range of gluten free options. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, everything we tried was delicious. The monkeybread was moist and sweet, the scones were scones but still flavorful, the cookies were the surprising hit of the group. Admittedly, I didn't try the pumpkin cupcake, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

Definitely pleased with this place. Got here just before they closed/sold out. Got the chocolate chip (ate it before I could take a picture). It was so good. Soft, chewy and delicious. Like when cookies are all around. The tart was solid too. These people know what they are doing with the blueberry. Cookies $3 tart $6 Not a lot of space inside to eat. Nice bench outside with a funny quote. I'd recommend eat and snap.

Stopped here to pick up some pastries for dessert and share with coworkers. Ended up getting a GF lemon poppy seed cookie, an Irish Creme croissant, a Danish and monkey bread. Our shared favorite was the Danish, and the croissant had a nice rum-flavored cream inside. The monkey bread was pretty dry, same with the GF cookie. Overall, I'd go back for breakfast and get a croissant but not a dessert-like baked good. The nice lady behind the counter said the ingredients used to make the baked goods come from Paris, which is pretty cool! I'd like to go back again and try one of their baguettes.

Just get pastries here instead of milk market - they quality is better! Stunning bread and pastries - my pain au chocolate was incredibly flaky. Logistics: - no specific seating for this place but there's a bench or two nearby in the restaurants alleyway - they did have a GF muffin and GF cookie option - they were almost sold out of pastries by about 1:30pm on a Saturday

I had it saved but couldn't quite remember why...until we turned the corner and saw a line out the door around noon on a Sunday. Normally that might be a dealbreaker, but once we saw the food coming out, we were all in, it looked way too good to pass up. The menu is stacked: everything from sweet pastries to savory sandwiches and even pizzas on what looked like fresh, fluffy focaccia. I went with the prosciutto sandwich (prosciutto, cheese, pesto on focaccia), and it was incredible--simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. My girlfriend had the ham sandwich on a baguette, which was just as good. We were also tempted by the turkey and some seasonal options, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We couldn't leave without grabbing a couple pastries. The almond croissant was a hit (my girlfriend saved it for the next morning and loved it), and the standout for me was the cinnamon white chocolate cookie--kind of like a snickerdoodle but with white chocolate chips. Easily a top tier cookie. Between the quality, variety, and how clearly everything is made with care, this place jumped straight to the top of my list. I sure was one of them today as when I stepped in it was past 2pm. What I had in mind was (of course) all gone which forced me to go some alternative option. The vanilla custard bun was simply the right size for me (I not too long ago had just had my late breakfast so I was still quite full from it.) Perfectly brown on some of the custard on top. This Portuguese style dessert is a staple at any bakery or dessert shop. It's moist and yet the flaky out layers made the perfect sound as I bit into it. As of this writing, I haven't had the baguette yet but I can only imagine how delicious it would be (as the kind lady upfront was telling other customer that.) For the meals: - hash (corned beef is perfectly cooked and it's a nice sized portion with a runny poached egg on top and hollandaise over a crispy/well-seasoned Rösti - very good but a little on the heavy side for me) - benny (loved the flavors of this one and that duck confit was so flavorful and tender. Also, loved the bright, refreshing salad it comes with) - veggie omelet (I didn't try this one, but my brother in law said it was a great, traditional omelet - nice and cheesy) - stuffed French toast (WOWWWW - no notes. It was sublime. The passionfruit stuffing was to die for and it comes with a candied honeycomb. Not something I normally order, but we split it for the table and everyone wanted another one it was so good!) The sourdough baguette is perfect and has little flakes of sea salt on the crust. Crunchy on the outside and soft and spongey on the inside. All of the pastries are delicious and I've got my eye on so many more things for the next visit. 10/10 experience.

Fair warning though: you have to get there early. If you're not an early riser, find someone who is or you will miss out. Lucky for me, my husband wakes up wayyy earlier than any normal person and always gets me a treat!

We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning, before heading to Coors Field to see an afternoon Rockies game. The market mainly consists of an indoor food court, with indoor and outdoor seating options. The crowd is mostly local. The vibe is casual. For our first visit, we were impressed with the food we got from Izzio Bakery, and the coffee we got from Crema Bodega. I have reviewed these separately.

It is easily one of the…read morebest spots in the city for friends and family, especially if no one can decide on what to eat. There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.

Don't underestimate PIE...LEGACY PIE as a reward for yourself no matter how far you need to drive to get there!! Do I have pictures? Sadly no. I gobbled my cherry hand pie down so fast that my Grandma Lucile would have chastised me for my rude behavior! My friend ordered the chicken pot pie and it looked so yummy I bought one to take home to my husband. I enjoyed the curry hand pie and boy - what a fantastic flavor in pie crust! Double Yum! My only regret today is I didn't buy a few more mini pies to take home to my freezer! Way to go small business! #pieisawayoflife PS The store is very cute and decorated with fun little gifts or treats you could make as a hostess gift when you stop to get a pie to bring for dessert. #DontwalkRUN!

I tried the hot and read buffalo chicken sandwich, and the pork green chile. I thought both were good. Definitely more emphasis on the bread in these than you would get somewhere else, but that is to be expected with it being a pie shop. I liked the pork a little bit more. They were more filling than I expected but also I didn't think about how much bread there was until after. Also got the key lime pie for dessert later in the day which I loved. Good amount of whipped cream, and had great flavor. Not too crumbly on the crust either. And finally I did get the take and bake chicken pot pie. Which I thought was excellent. Fair value for the size, I think. The large got me 3 meals but probably could have stretched it to 4. But it was so good that I just kept eating more. Had good amounts of chicken in it and good ratio with the veggies. I would definitely return here. Would definitely get the pot pies and key lime pie again. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them, but if I was in the area and needing something quick and easy to eat, I would get 1 of the hot and ready sandwiches too - I thought they were fairly priced too.

Honestly it was just okay for us. I'd say it's worth it if you're a complete beginner at pizza making, but here's the catch: in the class they use the mini Gozney ovens, and we have the full-size Gozney Dome. Practicing on a different oven than the one we'd actually be using at home was a bit off-putting, since so much of pizza making is dialing in your specific setup. That said, I still learned plenty that carried over! It's a 4-hour hands-on class, and you get to mix the dough, practice stretching, and launch your own pizza. The instructor, Gage, really knows his stuff and he was great at explaining the why behind each step, not just the how. I walked away with genuinely useful skills like freezing the dough and shaping technique. It's about $148 a person. The nice touches help. You get a pastry before and a cookie at lunch, plus a detailed recipe packet (dough variations, freezing, mixer methods, the works). And Rebel Bread is a working bakery, so it's a fun space to be in. My other note: the class runs long, and I wish it had been a bit shorter and tighter. For someone who's never made pizza before, I think it'd be worth it. For us, already set up with our own oven, it was a nice experience but not essential.
