We came at 11 on Sunday and they were out of almost everything. Gut the two Sammy they had left but was just bummed we couldn't get a sweet treat. I know it's late for a bakery but it's a bummer to have such limited supply.

So I've only been here to support friends in the bake off so this was my first time at Rebel Bread to try their products. First off, for a business on broadway, I'm glad they have their own private parking lot for free. There's plenty of space in the dining area with a variety of options from pastries to sandwiches. I ordered the kpop croissant and it was good (spicy and sweet) but I wish there was an option to heat it up. Maybe take it home and heat it on your own. Also if you order something to go and they throw it in the bag, check if you got the correct pastry. I ordered a blueberry muffin but when I opened my bag, it was an almond croissant. Thankfully my partner said keep it and he ordered the blueberry muffin again for me.

I'm back! I took one but of my sandwich and all I could say was WOW WOW WOW. The Antonella sandwich had so much flavor, the bread was crunchy from the panini press, the cheese was gooey. Not disappointed! If you haven't been yet, give them a try. I also grabbed a morning bun to take home with me because I'm a sucker for pastries.

Rebel Bread started as a mostly wholesale operation with a small retail counter that sold out very quickly after opening each day. They have now expanded into the adjacent storefronts and have greatly increased the scope of their retail business. There's now a much bigger bakery, a lovely café with seating for about 20, a beautiful teaching kitchen, a full coffee bar, and a large selection of breads and pastries which is kept stocked throughout the day. We tried a chocolate croissant, a tiramisu croissant knot, a raspberry cream cheese croissant square, a double chocolate sourdough muffin, and a sourdough chocolate chip cookie. All were unusual, creative, and delicious. There were lots of other choices in the case. We were so enthralled with the pastries that we didn't pay attention to the actual bread selections, but there are many sourdough-based options. There's plenty of staff, all very friendly and helpful. The café menu includes nine sandwiches, a couple of salads, and a few sides, plus coffee, tea, beer, and wine. There's also Friday Night Pizza from 5pm to 9pm with ten toppings to choose from, salad, and dessert plus a bar with beer, wine, and cocktails. An extensive menu of classes, from all sorts of baking topics (including dog biscuits!) to pasta and sourdough is available. The teaching kitchen is brand-new, spacious, well-lighted, and well-equipped. A hidden treasure has become even better. You should definitely check this out!

Friday Night Pizza at Rebel Bread, some of the best pizza in town! Arrived there at 5:45pm, ordered and sat at the table, made ourselves comfortable. The Classic Pizza was out of this world, next time will order with optional ricotta cheese on top. Glenda's wheat berry salad was perfect! Loaded with goodies galore. My antipasto salad, sorry to say, was just with lettuce and some cheese, small bits of it. Frankly it was devoid of all the 'supposed' ingredients, and that was out of the usual as everything I've ever ordered here at Rebel has been near perfect. When I brought this to the attention of one of the folks there, I received a very understated... blank type of comment. I let it go... it could have been a kitchen preparation that went 'bad'. I've been a true fan of the bakery ever since my first review and have been impressed with their quality fully. Aside from the salad mystery, I'll still give it five stars.

YES TO REBEL BREAD! I stopped in for lunch yesterday and WOW. ample parking. I had no idea that they have such a large seating area. This space is amazing, I would definitely come here to work or have a meeting. You can see into one of the kitchens (there are multiple, this place is huge!!) and all of staff is back there grinding. It looks like they're having fun which you don't see often. Really cool ambiance. They serve pastries, sandwiches, salads, sides, drinks. I had: - everything bagel puff with cream cheese - sourdough chocolate chip cookie - Elisa panini - honey scone - Marci panini everything we ate was absolutely fabulous. my panini was hot and perfectly crisp. all of the employees were sooo friendly. (especially megan, she took such good care of us) they offer classes as well! i even left with a sourdough starter :-) 10/10 experience.

First off the sandwich and the bread are very high quality. I brought it home for my wife and daughter who love these types of sandwiches. What I didn't really like is that they are specialty sandwiches that are premade so no substitutions. I wanted a roast beef sandwich without all the various toppings, but you would have to de construct it for that. The shop a very modern and it sits in a strip mall so there is a parking lot. It looks like you can take some type of bread making class there which is actually pretty clever. Overall, other than the sandwich being premade I would say not a bad place to grab a bite.

Wow! What a cool spot for all the bread lovers. I was expecting a yummy sandwich but was delightfully surprised by the awesome customer service and the laid back ambiance. They also have classes here so you can learn to bake your own bread in one of their giant kitchens! I ordered the Antonella sandwich and tried a dram cola drink for the first time. The sandwich was so fresh, warm and filling. The workers were friendly and answered questions I had about the menu and drink selection. This would be a great group outing or even a cute date idea to take a bread baking class.

My husband and I took the pasta+gossip class tonight! It was such a wonderful experience, I couldn't wait to leave a review. Zach was an incredible host with a funny icebreaker at the beginning; and he also shared travel and cooking memories of his life. We learned how to make various types of pasta, Apple herb ricotta filling for the pasta, brown butter, and Pasta e Fagioli. The pace of the class was perfect. There is a camera on the ceiling pointed down at what he is doing and projecting the steps onto 2 large monitors on either side for the class to see. There were 4 people per table, enough for 16 people. Zach visited each table multiple times throughout the class for additional pointers and recommendations. Zach showed us how to mix the eggs and flour to make the dough, knead the dough, roll and cut the pasta, then fill it and create at least 4 different types of pasta. I was pleasantly surprised that you do not have to be a chef to take this class (I actually hate cooking, and loved this class!!!). While we were making the pasta, they were boiling it to serve to us with candied speck pork, olive oil and freshly grated cheese. My husband asked how to make ravioli, which wasn't on the agenda. Zach showed him and our table practiced several rounds of this. He even packaged up leftovers for tomorrow and advised how to store and cook. By the end of the class, the pasta e fagioli was cooked to perfection which we then enjoyed in the cafe, along with wine and cookies. Not just any cookies, but delicious cookies the size of your hand cookies (sourdough chocolate chip and pistachio/chocolate chip). Delicious!!! All around, we were thoroughly impressed with how well organized the class was, Zach's knowledge, friendliness and professionalism; not to mention the stellar facility, staff and class. Lastly, socializing and meeting new people was an added plus! 5 stars to Zach, Rebel Bread, his assistant (Jahn?) and the rest of the staff that make this place shine. We will be back for the sourdough bread, tortillas and dog treats classes! Not to mention the cookies, pastries, bread, sandwiches and anything else we have yet to try! Can't wait. Thank you so much for a stellar evening!!! There is plenty of parking in the lot in front of the bakery.

What a lovely place! This place is great for a small meal, drinks, and to cowork with others. They give free sourdough starter as well. The service was lovely! I got the Elisa and a latte, it was so delicious. They have the ingredients and heating instructions on the sandwich wrapper. I love the mini museum feel of the bread. There's a lot of parking in the parking lot.

    Tiramisu-filled Pastry
    Debbie P.

I went here today with my daughter. I got a hot chocolate made with oat milk and a chocolate muffin and a tiramisu filled pastry. My daughter and I agreed that nothing was stellar. The hot chocolate needed to be more chocolatey and I even asked for an extra pump of chocolate sauce. The workers were pleasant and friendly. However I take exception at how they present the tip options on checking out. The options were 15%, 20%, 22%. You stand in line to place your order and then you are expected to bus your own table. The only thing they do is bring out your food. 8%, 10%, 12% would be more in line for this level of service. I'm really getting sick of establishments pushing for these high tip levels for almost no service. It makes me want to tip nothing.

Antonella Panini with salami added: Fresh mozzarella, sun-dried tomato pesto, and arugula on sourdough focaccia
    Zach S.

Super friendly staff and awesome pastries, coffees and sandwiches! I got the Antonella Panini with salami added and had it toasted there, which was a great call to eat it hot. I also got some great sourdough loafs and look forward to coming back for some pastries. Pro tip is to arrive early because they do sell out relatively quickly, both for pastries and their paninis. They also have an awesome lineup of baking classes that all look great too.

    Elisa & Iced Matcha Latte
    Naseem Z.

The service was awesome. They have baked goods and sourdough for purchase along with a few items to bake with. The dining room had a very cool vibe, good music, modern edm vibes. I stayed and did some work because I enjoyed the energy so much. I ordered an iced matcha latte and an Elisa. It was sooooo good. The salame and spread were such a balancing combo. It was panini style and filling, I took half to go. Overall great experience. Very cool place.

I had it saved but couldn't quite remember why...until we turned the corner and saw a line out the door around noon on a Sunday. Normally that might be a dealbreaker, but once we saw the food coming out, we were all in, it looked way too good to pass up. The menu is stacked: everything from sweet pastries to savory sandwiches and even pizzas on what looked like fresh, fluffy focaccia. I went with the prosciutto sandwich (prosciutto, cheese, pesto on focaccia), and it was incredible--simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. My girlfriend had the ham sandwich on a baguette, which was just as good. We were also tempted by the turkey and some seasonal options, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We couldn't leave without grabbing a couple pastries. The almond croissant was a hit (my girlfriend saved it for the next morning and loved it), and the standout for me was the cinnamon white chocolate cookie--kind of like a snickerdoodle but with white chocolate chips. Easily a top tier cookie. Between the quality, variety, and how clearly everything is made with care, this place jumped straight to the top of my list. The vanilla custard bun was simply the right size for me (I not too long ago had just had my late breakfast so I was still quite full from it.) Perfectly brown on some of the custard on top. This Portuguese style dessert is a staple at any bakery or dessert shop. It's moist and yet the flaky out layers made the perfect sound as I bit into it. As of this writing, I haven't had the baguette yet but I can only imagine how delicious it would be (as the kind lady upfront was telling other customer that.) We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning, before heading to Coors Field to see an afternoon Rockies game. The market mainly consists of an indoor food court, with indoor and outdoor seating options. The crowd is mostly local. The vibe is casual. For our first visit, we were impressed with the food we got from Izzio Bakery, and the coffee we got from Crema Bodega. I have reviewed these separately.

If you are visiting Denver, you have to stop by The Denver Central Market. It is easily one of the…read morebest spots in the city for friends and family, especially if no one can decide on what to eat. There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.

We tried the Pastel de Nata, Sunflower Sourdough, and Santiago's Flourless Tart. - Pastel de Nata: A Portuguese egg custard tart with a flaky crust and creamy filling. They're mini, making them the perfect personal-size dessert--or leaving room to try more. I could eat a thousand of these, they were the clear winner for us. - Sunflower Sourdough: Good, but not amazing. Though I might be biased because I make sourdough at home. It has a great sour flavor, but after three days the crust got so hard it hurt your mouth to eat. If you plan to use the bread within a couple of days, I'd recommend trying it. - Santiago's Flourless Tart: The perfect amount of sweetness with hints of lemon, vanilla, and almond. It was incredibly moist and delicious--I'd come back just for this. Reunion Bakery is located in the Source Food Hall in RiNo but will be moving to South Pearl Street at the end of the month. I continually eye Reunion Bread when I'm at The Source in RiNo. Perfect, flaky croissants along with their breads-tried the banana bread and it was to die for. Their crème puffs are out of this world, however they only had Nutella filling, which I am not a fan of, so I had it unfilled and it was a delight! Service is always friendly. Get there earlier in the day as everything sells out quickly! Sadly, I do believe they are moving out of their current spot, which is a little crammed, so I will just have to visit at their new locale- tbd!

Don't underestimate PIE...LEGACY PIE as a reward for yourself no matter how far you need to drive to get there!! Do I have pictures? Sadly no. I gobbled my cherry hand pie down so fast that my Grandma Lucile would have chastised me for my rude behavior! My friend ordered the chicken pot pie and it looked so yummy I bought one to take home to my husband. I enjoyed the curry hand pie and boy - what a fantastic flavor in pie crust! Double Yum! My only regret today is I didn't buy a few more mini pies to take home to my freezer! Way to go small business! #pieisawayoflife PS The store is very cute and decorated with fun little gifts or treats you could make as a hostess gift when you stop to get a pie to bring for dessert. #DontwalkRUN!

I tried the hot and read buffalo chicken sandwich, and the pork green chile. I thought both were good. Definitely more emphasis on the bread in these than you would get somewhere else, but that is to be expected with it being a pie shop. I liked the pork a little bit more. They were more filling than I expected but also I didn't think about how much bread there was until after. Also got the key lime pie for dessert later in the day which I loved. Good amount of whipped cream, and had great flavor. Not too crumbly on the crust either. And finally I did get the take and bake chicken pot pie. Which I thought was excellent. Fair value for the size, I think. The large got me 3 meals but probably could have stretched it to 4. But it was so good that I just kept eating more. Had good amounts of chicken in it and good ratio with the veggies. I would definitely return here. Would definitely get the pot pies and key lime pie again. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them, but if I was in the area and needing something quick and easy to eat, I would get 1 of the hot and ready sandwiches too - I thought they were fairly priced too.
