I deviated a bit from my normal latte or drip coffee and splurged on their "golden coffee": a beautiful cup of coffee with Nutella, steamed milk, whipped cream, pistachio and sparkles. It was a bit pricey at $12 but I regret absolutely nothing. The only thing keeping me from full marks is that it's not super stroller/baby friendly and these days that's important to me. I got there shortly after 7am on a Thursday, so I had a great selection to choose from. I tried the almond croissant ($7) and the pistachio one ($8.5). Their croissant is a third bigger than normal, and buttery and flakey, as expected in a croissant. Almond croissant is delicious. There's a thin layer of almond paste, and I think they could be little bit more generous with the almond paste given the croissant is so big. There were hardly any at the ends. Pistachio croissant looks better than it tastes. There's a fluffy sour cream butter sort of filling in the middle which didn't taste much like pistachio. I would prefer a solid pistachio paste or sprinkles of pistachio. I wanted to taste the pistachio and I wasn't getting it. I would try their chocolate croissant next time. So this place might be a hit or miss depending on what you order.
