WOW! While on vacation my wife and I took our grandchildren to this location and it was a hit. The are was safe and clean, the ice cream was delicious, and the staff was super friendly. We had a banana split ,ice cream sundae,and fresh made milkshakes. This is a must if you are in the area.
Joe was fantastic. Ice cream is top notch! Highly recommend. Had the lemon and watermelon sorbet and tried the caramel apple. Absolutely addicting. Atmosphere is laid back. These people are great!
Honestly, the ice cream here is more of a hype and a vibe than a great quality ice cream. There are decent amount of different flavors, and ways to consume the ice cream, but the ice cream itself texturally was really not that great and left a weird sticky film on my tongue. The color dye on the ube was also so intense it coated your lips and fingers in the deep purple. The vibe here is great, the aesthetic is cute, the neighborhood is fantastic... Come for the vibe, but not necessarily for the bestest ice cream you'll ever have.
We were in town visiting and heard about this place. Luckily it wasn't too far from our Airbnb so we walked over one day. Very cute little ice cream spot in the corner with great service. There can be a long line, but it moves fast! Lots of unique flavors. We got a regular cup with 2 scoops of ice cream for about $7, good deal. Hubby went with the salted caramel peanut butter cup and I went with the salted ube cream cheese. Both were delish but the ube was my personal fave. They let you sample too. It was so good we came back again a different day to get the SAME FLAVORS before we had to fly home. They're open late and always seem to be poppin'.
Can never go wrong with Little Man. Their ice cream is thick, creamy and delicious. This time I got the salty Oreo and it was sweet with a hint of salt, just enough to make for a different flavor. Service is friendly and they encourage you to taste test. Prices are reasonable. You can sit at the outside tables and enjoy your ice cream
Came here to try out the hype of the famous ice cream. It was creamy and delicious. We came at the right time and there was no one else in line except one family. While we sat to enjoy the ice cream, the line got really long. The two gals at the counter were polite and friendly while working diligently to give samples and help customers! Great place to have ice cream. They have a lot of seating and a slide which was a hit with the kids. No ice cream was being made at the time we came in because it was later in the evening.
Little Man is an ice cream spot that is always listed as the must-visit spot of Denver. Hence the constant flow of people lining up to give it a try. As a tourist myself, I had to try it for myself. At first, I noticed that there was a growing line of people in front of the big silver Little Man Ice Cream tin located in the middle of the area. But found that the express line had all the flavors that I was intrigued by. So, I gladly skipped the long line to join the very quick express line to quickly get the flavors that I wanted. I personally decided to try a small cup with 2 flavors. SALTY O's Just like it says, Salty O's is salty. I expected a slightly less salty flavor like flavors such as salted caramel do, but it was almost a bit too much salt content inside an otherwise very sweet flavor. I almost regretted getting this flavor because with each bite, the salt was getting a bit overpowering. BANANA PUDDING This was probably my preferred flavor of the two. It didn't necessarily have a strong banana flavor punching through, but it was the right amount of sweetness that I wanted in an ice cream flavor.
Good ice cream! Massive line though - there was an express checkout for ice cream but they only had a selection of 8 scoops. The long line would give you 16 selections and options for milkshakes etc. I got the Salty O on the waffle cone - salty Oreo's highkey really good. We didn't have to wait in line cause salty o was in the express lane. The outdoor seating is plenty. So many different spots to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. Need to try more flavors.

First came back in 2018. I had completely forgotten that this place existed. And as I was walking by a few weeks ago and saw the dome, I was instantly transported back in my memories and like a cartoon character floating as they smell the pie placed in the window, my feet led me straight to the cashier of the place. It was Sunday early afternoon on a cold day in January 2026 when I came here. I was in a party of four. All of us stuffed but we decided to get some anyways. I went with the purple cow which is Black raspberry ice cream with white and dark chocolate chunks. Others went with one of their seasonal, a Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Cup and Vegan Salted Chocolate Oreo. You can get one scoops or many. They allow you small tasters as well. Service is quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Almost a must go to when in the area! And don't worry. If you're not an ice cream person they have shakes, floats, drinks, stickers and more!
Stopped by during a brief trip in Denver after hearing people rave about Little Man. Luckily, the weather wasn't too cold when I went the end of February, so it was a decent night to get ice cream. The line also wasn't too long when I arrived around 6:30 pm on Friday. They have rotating flavors and had Girl Scout cookie flavors when I was there. I got the Samoa flavor and I liked it! Very creamy and tasted very similar to the Samoa cookie. A kids cup is more than enough for one person. There's plenty of outdoor seating and close to a park if you want to take the ice cream to go. The area is also very cute, so good place to explore in the day time.
Ah yes- the OG little man shop! With its iconic giant milkjug atop the hill in Highlands, it's practically a Denver right of passage to visit. Don't be intimidated by the line! It moves quickly! All your favorites- and more- to be found. Staff is so great!
Service wasn't great. We went towards the end of the night, so maybe they were all just tired. But the ice creams were very creamy and flavorful. I was told the birthday cake actually tasted like birthday cake and not the typical fake flavor. I got the ube (salted caramel I think) and I really enjoyed it!
Is the circus in town? Is it the Fourth of July? New Year's Eve? Sure, they serve ice cream, and they have unique flavors, and the ice cream is delicious. But you can get really good ice cream almost anywhere. Heck, go to almost any grocery store and you can get Ben and Jerry's which still makes great ice cream with unique flavors. But how many ice cream shops have a zillion people either eating ice cream or standing in line or dancing to live music? None that I have seen before. This place is an absolute scene. By the way, the dancing was swing dancing, which isn't something you just decide to do (it takes a very long time to get good). Now, there are two lines. First, there is the interior line (inside the main fence) that is really, really long but you get more flavor options. The second exterior line is just really long (as opposed to really, really long) and is outside the gate with fewer flavor options. We went for the exterior line and it moved along nicely. Sure, you can get great ice cream almost anywhere but this place is a unique place. You can enjoy the live music and dancing while you wait in the longer than average lines. The atmosphere is pure joy. I would return again and again. read more

Little Man Ice Cream was a great experience located near a real other businesses. I really enjoyed the cookie dough ice cream and my partner had the Salted Oreo ice cream! Both flavors were very tasty! Also the service was super quick and cordial. Great folks working. read more
Service: - Long lines, but there are multiple ordering stations which help the lines move quickly - They do offer samples, but depending on the employee, they may give you pressure to only try a couple flavors Dessert: - Salted oreo was interesting, basically just cookies and cream with added salt which enhances the sweetness read more

Love Little Man ice cream!! Salty Oreo and chocolate are my favorites. Banana pudding is also a popular flavor. I like that we can choose as many flavors as we like to sample and in our cup. The staff here are also so pleasant with good service. read more
It was 19 degrees outside with no line and I still got the ice cream two days in a row (I'm visiting from LA and this is THE BEST salted ice cream ever) You must get the salty O and the salted cream ube. You can do a split kids cup and it's the perfect amount. IT IS SO GOOD!!! GET IT!! read more
You really can't get a better ice cream experience in Denver then little man ice cream. Personally I will only go to their original highlands location ( big milk bottle). The colfax one although much larger and indoors , is still in an area that is a bit "sketch" The flavors are delicious and texture of ice cream is always the Right level of creaminess. Staff is very courteous and cheerful which is greatly received. Some may complain about the long lines that form but that's what is to be expected when dining on high quality food. Lines are long but the ice cream is worth the wait. Love their seasonal decorations too ! read more

Is there ice cream good? Obviously or there would not be such a line all the time. Are their flavors straight forward? No, they don't always explain on the signs what are in some of the ice creams even though the pictures within the signs are supposed to help. It creates the long lines and where customers take longer and try more before buying. It is outside, so it is weather dependent for most to enjoy or not. Will I keep going to this Denver staple? Of course if I'm in the area. read more
Gooooooodness I forgot how much I love little man ice cream. There is always a line, but it moves fast and is so worth it. We got the salted peanut butter cup, the cupcake, and the cookie dough. The salted peanut butter cup was my favorite, closely followed by the cupcake (which had rainbow sprinkles in it and tasted spot on like a birthday cupcake). The cookie dough had a malted flavor that made it taste slightly off- I probably wouldn't get it again. Love the outdoor space with the antique seating and touches- so cute and fun. If you haven't done little man, you haven't done Denver. read more

This is a very popular ice cream stand. I thought they would have more flavors to choose from but I landed with Cookie Monster. It's a brown sugar based ice cream with fudge and oreo pieces swirled in. The cashier was patient and allowed me to sample my top 3 choices before choosing my final order. I think it's absurd to have 5 kinds of chocolate ice cream on the menu at once... The ice cream is good, good amount of seating surrounding the stand, friendly service and it's in a walkable area. read more

I can confidently say this was worth the 40-minute wait. I was excited to try this Denver staple and I am so glad I did. The ice cream texture is unlike your average ice cream; it is fluffy and chewy, almost like you can actually chew the ice cream. The consistency also makes it slow to melt. I ordered the strawberry flavor and it was incredible. On top of that, the cashiers were super friendly and genuinely happy to help, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more
The staff was nice and asked me for sample. The ice cream was alright. I couldn't really taste the ube but it was a salty oreo of some sort. I ordered a kid size plus waffle and it came out to be $9. That was expensive though. The portion was big fortunately. read more

Little Man Ice Cream is always a must-visit when I'm in Denver. This location is typically super busy with a line down the block. However, there are multiple windows for the staff to take orders, and they're usually pretty good about moving through customers efficiently. I've never waited more than 30 minutes even with a long line. I enjoy the wide variety of creative flavors they offer. The 16th Street Chocolate is hands down my favorite though. It's a chocolate ice cream with brownie bites and fudge swirls. They do let you sample as many flavors as you'd like before you commit to a final decision. Overall a great spot for a sweet treat. read more

I saw this giant milk bottle the last time I was in Denver and lamented the fact that we missed out on it. I made a point to visit this time around and was not disappointed. We got here at almost 9 PM on a Tuesday and there was a line (that's a good sign!). I was excited to try all the flavors but ultimately tasted only a few. The ice cream is rich and creamy - a really good base. Half the flavors are salted and they have quite a few unique ones on here. I wound up with a regular (2 scoops) of Salted Peanut Butter Cup + Salted Ube Cheesecake. If I got a redo, I think I would get the Peanut Butter Cup + an unsalted one. Also, one of my friends found a pro tip. If you want less ice cream, the kids scoop also comes with two flavors - just two smaller scoops. read more
First time at Little Man! I ordered a single and split it into 2 generous sized scoops. I ordered the Ube and orange blossom pistachio. The ube was very unique, had a lot of depth and rich flavor. The pistachio had the perfect amount of pistachio flavoring. Both were so good!! The service was efficient and they offer as many tastes as you want. The ambiance was quaint, plenty of room to accommodate the long line. So good! read more
