This is my favorite ice cream shop in Denver no question about it! They constantly rotate flavors which is so much fun (but also devastating when my favorites disappear)! Their flavors are so creative and they always have a sorbet option and some vegan ice cream options as we The shop is small but the staff keep the line moving extremely quickly even on busy days. There are a few seats inside but I prefer to take mine outside to the standing tables or even a walk around the neighborhood. read more

A hot afternoon in Denver and decided ice cream would make the day even better. While we were walking around the Highland area, Sweet Cow was located in a strip mall. The shop is small, very busy and highly efficient with regard to service. A good selection of different combinations were available along with plenty of samples. The raspberry chocolate chip ice cream in a pretzel cone was an easy choice. The raspberry flavor was bold and the chips were plentiful. It was a delightful combination. The pretzel cone was good but very hard and I felt it detracted from the scoop. If you are interested in good ice with unique flavors, give Sweet Cow a chance. read more

Cant go wrong. They change their flavors all the time. I had the coconut cream pie. It was delicious. Full of coconut chunks with some bites of crust. Very refreshing on a hot day. They usually have 1 to 2 vegan or dairy free options. Servers are super nice. It has indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Local favorite for real. Probably one of the few places that's open decently late on weekdays too. When we got there, the line poked out of the door, but the staff was super friendly and fast, so it moved quite quickly. You can sample the ice cream too before you commit. There's pints and cookie ice cream sandwiches too if you like. I really liked that they have pretzel cones here and I've never seen that anywhere else. They're in the style of the hard pretzels, but they're a nice salty savory, crunchy addition to your ice cream. Great addition of flavor and texture. I got a single scoop of their banana cream pie and it was nice and banana flavor but in a subtle, not too sweet, not too artificial way with some marshmallows in it too. Perfect with the cone that I got too. Good stuff. Don't mind stopping by in the future again! read more

Way too slow and online orders are depleting the help for the folks in line. Waiting 20 minutes and only servers 2 couples in front of me.

Always a line and always worth the short wait. Emphasis on letting you sample to find the one flavor you can't survive without. Works every time. Friendly service. Ok prices and an ever changing menu of flavors. read more

As a first-time visitor, this dessert spot definitely hit the spot! The service was super friendly, and the selection of unique flavors made it hard to choose--in the best way. I went with a waffle cone featuring one scoop of Lucky Charms and one scoop of the orange cream flavor--both were delicious and fun! My friends ordered a root beer float and a butter pecan waffle cone, and everyone was really happy with their picks. I was curious about the coffee flavor, so I asked for a sample, and the team member was more than happy to help. The overall vibe was welcoming, and it was great to see a steady flow of families coming in--it's clearly a local favorite. Can't wait to come back and try even more flavors! read more

It was relatively moolicious. Service was friendly and ice cream was pretty solid. Good depth in flavor selection, and the service makes the wait reasonable. Would go back to try their ice cream cakes. Space has limited indoor seating and would be a great spot to meet up with friends. Location is fun to walk around. The lemon poppyseed was more interesting than I would've imagined. read more

The ice cream was truly divine! Creamy but thick texture! Sweet but not too sweet! They have a lot of flavors and kinds to choose from. And of course the people were very friendly kind and helpful here. The place inside was spotless and it was a great spot to go in and cool off on a hot day during a walk around the town on a day off. Let's talk ice cream! This was my first time trying Sweet Cow, but I have seen the line out the door a bunch, so I knew I had to check it out. We got there when there was just a couple of people in line ahead of us and it was right before the line had started to form. Believe me it is worth the wait of standing in the line. I tried the Ozo Coffee ice cream in a shake and yaaaaa that was delicious! I'm still thinking about it and can't wait to go back to try another flavor....or maybe just to get another of the coffee shake. My bf got the oatmeal cookie scoops in a cup and it had a lot of great flavor as well. The staff is quick and very friendly. Bottom line, I will be back often! read more

Amazing ice cream spot in northwest Denver. We had lunch at Himchul and just stumbled upon this gem. The servers there are sweet and key ya try several flavors. My cream and fig plus strawberry was divinely creamy. Check them out. read more

So impressed with everything here! The line was out the door, but moved SO quick. I tried to oatmeal cookie and the big Lebowski in a cup. The oatmeal cookie was literally a cookie ribbon through vanilla ice cream- super tasty! The big Lebowski is a vodka, kahlua flavor- like a White Russian ice cream style. It was very flavorful, with just a little alcoholic bit. My husband had the Dutch chocolate, which had just a little extra something that made it more interesting than plain chocolate, if you are a big chocolate fan. Overall, highly highly recommend and I will be back! read more

Sweet Cow never disappoints. Super friendly staff, clean, bright...fun music that's not too loud or too quiet...and of course yummy ice cream. Visited Sweet Cow while I was in the Denver area this month and thought it was alright. I feel bad because I cannot remember the name of the flavor I got - I feel like it was a Butter Scotch flavor. I sampled a few before deciding on that flavor. The sample was good, but a whole scoop was a little bit too sweet side and a little thick for my liking. I definitely would still come back to check out another flavor in the future. Staff was super nice and friendly. Seating was a good amount for the size of the location. I believe it's street parking only for this location. read more

Whenever we are in town we always come here. Always friendly service and great ice cream. Such a great selection of ice creams. The place is clean and there's a few bar stools to sit at. Well, I am usually very apprehensive about ice cream chains, I guess sweet cow is a local Denver chain. Let me elevate and modify my last review. Like Ice Cream? Check. Like seeing enthusiastic kids not staring at their phones and love their jobs? Like rotating flavors of ice cream? Who doesn't? Love this place. We stock up on ice cream sandwiches each time, Larry's Monster is the best flavor, and I would rank B is for Brownie and Raspberry Chocolate Chip my next ones, outside of my boring chocolate and cookie dough ones. ANYWAY, even if the line is long, you should go here. Ice cream is simple, yes? Ice cream delivery done seamlessly is NOT simple. To the owner, whatever you are doing to train these kids needs to be messaged to all of society. Please tell the kids that people notice the details, and I hope this review gets more people to go to your place. Again, to the workers, we notice how awesome you work together. Keep doing what you are doing. Definitely recommend and see you there. read more

Well I started the day without a glimmer of a thought of ice cream on the mind; and after an hour long pointless conversation with my little sister in California, while she debated what ice cream to get delivered I found myself influenced into decided on ordering my own ice cream delivery. Yes I am that easily persuaded. Well i have to say; the ice cream was good however I wasn't blown away. Here is my take on the two flavors I got: fruity pebbles and Nutella. First off I love anything fruity pebbles so I was super excited to see this flavor; and while as you can see from the photo it was loaded with fruity pebbles which I appreciated, I think it could have been better executed. As we all know fruity pebbles; cereal in general gets soggy and this ice cream was no exception. Especially because there are so many it's just spoonful of soggy pebbles. Insert sad face. I personally would have done a glaze if possible to keep them with a nice crunch or possibly grind them into a powder which would still impart the fruity pebble flavor and not the sogginess, and who knows maybe even do a quarter of the amount they added for aesthetics. Either way this one sadly missed the mark, but hey the bright side is there could be room for improvement for next time. Onto the Nutella. So I'm going to be honest hazelnut ice cream is hands down my favorite ice cream ever, but we all know we rarely see that on the menu, though Nutella (hazelnut spread) is quite common. Having a urge for hazelnut ice cream I decided to roll the dice with the Nutella in hopes that it would give me that wonderful nutty flavor. This Ice cream was good. Creamy and decadent but honestly just tasted like chocolate. The hazelnut flavor was a hint if anything? And I'm not even sure it was there I might have been just trying to convince myself lol. Either way the ice cream was still good, so I would totally give them another chance and try more flavors; but the two I chose today just didn't wow me like I was hoping. read more
