Split single scoop in gluten free cone!

So yummy!! Amazing vegan and gluten free options (including brownie with ice cream sundae and gluten free cones!!) Some of the best vegan ice cream I've had, and it's in such a cute part of Denver. So many cute shops around. Would be great spot for a date cuz you could walk around before or after. The servers were sooo nice, let us try multiple flavors and gave us HUGE scoops. Highly recommend.

Gelato Boy is just an okay spot for me. When I came in, it was not busy at all. They have a good selection of gelato flavors, but nothing too special - maybe just the lavender poppy. The lavender poppy flavor was delicious. I also got the Salted Cookies & Cream flavor which was just alright. I know I ordered a small, but some other ice cream places will literally give you huge scoops, especially for a ~$8 price tag. That is actually an insane price for such a small serving size.

Such a cute shop, I love the branding. I will say this is more like ice cream than gelato to me, but I prefer that. I got rocky road and chocolate hazelnut crunch - the rocky road texture is super thick which I'm impressed with because it's hard to achieve a good consistency like this with vegan flavors. I got the smallest size but it was a lot, very rich and dense so it was more than enough!

Friendly staff and great flavors, love that you can have two flavors in the small. Limited seating inside and the store was clean. Steeet parking. I loved the summer strawberry, very refreshing. The lavender was also great.

Gelato Boy opened their 5th Colorado scoop shop at the end of May. This one sits right on the bustling Tennyson Street. If you're not looking for it, you might walk right by it without noticing! *You can find it in between Lucy's Burger Bar and Tatarian* For a new brick and mortar it's nice and clean. Two employees working on a Monday night. Branding is minimalistic, yet impactful. Bright pink walls, signage that pops, etc. Pro tip for the photo menu on the front window to the shop with each flavor and clear photo. Impactful and smart marketing! According to their website this is what separates them from the rest: +They make everything in house, from scratch. +Outstanding dairy-free and vegan options. +They work with local dairy and producers. I had a scoop of the Pineapple Blood Orange Creamsicle and it was deliciously refreshing. Mostly sweet and creamy with a mild hint of tartness. Would totally order again on a hot day! There is another ice cream place within a stone's throw, so I'm curious to see the gelato-ice cream battle on Tennyson. Hopefully there's enough room for everyone and they'll all play nice together. Here's to more sweet treats on Tenny!

Nice change from plain old ice cream. The flavors are very unique, I chose the chocolate hazelnut, but their limited time rocky road looked good too. Very bright happy and clean colors inside with very enthusiastic scoopers. The only thing that would make this experience better would be for them to use a bigger scooper and pack the scoops together a little more. We did receive a little story time from the cashier about the main differences between ice cream and gelato. We also received little cups of water you just have to ask.

Stopped in on opening day by pure chance. Enjoyed a small raspberry with chocolate chips. Very friendly staff. A good addition to the neighborhood.

The lemon poppy is dairy free and the lavender poppy is traditional gelato. Together this combination is refreshing and not overly sweet which is perfect after a hot bike ride up from the Lake. The service was friendly and they offer samples. We chose to sit inside at the bar, which has 4 stools. There is a bench and 2 small tables inside or a few stools on the sidewalk. Most people grab and go but if you are on your bike it's nice to have a shady spot to sit and enjoy. The only downside is the lack of bicycle lock up areas out front but they weee kind enough to let us bring them inside while we had our snack.

The man working first Friday of September at 933pm. You made my night by Putting the month flavor on top, my request, while I was manically giggling. You a real one. Best place ever.

I loveeee this place. The people that work here are so nice and friendly. The gelato is sooo yummy and unique flavors. Definitely something for everyone. They let you try as much as you want and I love their gluten and dairy options!

While we sat to enjoy the ice cream, the line got really long. The two gals at the counter were polite and friendly while working diligently to give samples and help customers! As a tourist myself, I had to try it for myself. At first, I noticed that there was a growing line of people in front of the big silver Little Man Ice Cream tin located in the middle of the area. But found that the express line had all the flavors that I was intrigued by. So, I gladly skipped the long line to join the very quick express line to quickly get the flavors that I wanted. I personally decided to try a small cup with 2 flavors. SALTY O's Just like it says, Salty O's is salty. I expected a slightly less salty flavor like flavors such as salted caramel do, but it was almost a bit too much salt content inside an otherwise very sweet flavor. I almost regretted getting this flavor because with each bite, the salt was getting a bit overpowering. BANANA PUDDING This was probably my preferred flavor of the two. It didn't necessarily have a strong banana flavor punching through, but it was the right amount of sweetness that I wanted in an ice cream flavor.

I ordered the matcha strawberry, and the ice cream itself was really good creamy with a nicely balanced bitter matcha flavor, and the strawberry came through well. Definitely a tasty treat. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't match the quality of the ice cream. The employee helping me seemed like she was having a rough day and came across as rude. When I asked for a cone, she rolled her eyes and threw the cup down, which made me feel unwelcome. What stood out even more was the difference in how customers were treated. The group after me was offered samples and greeted more warmly, while I wasn't offered any and was simply asked, "what do you want?" The contrast in service made the experience feel uncomfortable. Overall, the ice cream was great, but the service left a bad impression.
