Great service! Even though there was a line it went super quick. The gentleman that helped me was welcoming and helpful. The ice cream was delicious and unique.

Stopped by this charming, vintage-style ice cream spot with my boyfriend after my birthday dinner, and wow--such a sweet way to end the night. We originally wanted to check it out because the line was literally wrapped around the place (always a good sign), but it moved surprisingly fast. We were definitely overdressed coming from a fine dining dinner, but the server was so kind--he complimented us, asked what we were celebrating, and when I told him it was my birthday, he made it extra special by not charging me for my ice cream and giving us a military discount. Totally unexpected and genuinely appreciated. Now... the ice cream. SO good. We both absolutely devoured ours--rich, creamy, classic perfection. I got a two-scoop waffle cone with lemon custard and (I think) Bordeaux cherry, and I haven't stopped thinking about that lemon custard since. Bright, smooth, and just the right balance of sweet and tangy. Between the quality, the service, and the overall experience, it was 100% worth the wait. Already looking forward to going back.

We loved this neighborhood ice cream spot! Great selection of flavors and the staff will let you sample a few to help you decide. I ended up getting the salted Oreo and really enjoyed it but will probably try something else next time. The prices were very reasonable and great portions. There is limited seating available inside so that was tough on a cold weeknight, but totally worth it! Can't wait to go back

Really great ice cream near Wash Park! I love every ice cream flavor. They also have an amazing pup cups for dogs! The service is always friendly and quick! It is a fun ice cream spot with a train inside and all around a cute shop to visit. Highly recommend!

Salted Oreo is my fav

While everyone talks about Little Man, I'm surprised more people don't mention Bonnie Brae. It is my absolute favorite ice cream spot in Denver! It always hits the spot and I never get tired of it. It has that classic neighborhood feel where there is usually a line outside, but it is always worth the wait. The Order: Salted Oreo & Price The Salted Oreo is my go-to because it has the perfect sweet and salty balance I love. If I'm not getting that, I'm getting the Lemon Custard. Both are incredible. For a double scoop in a cup, it cost about $8-$9. While they have great vegan and dairy-free options, the Salted Oreo I get is their traditional dairy version. Homemade: One of the reasons it tastes so good is that they make their own ice cream and cones right on-site! You can really taste the difference in the freshness of the scoops and the crunch of the waffle cones. Customer Service: Even when it's packed inside with people ready to order, the staff is very quick and efficient. The customer service is great, which is impressive considering how busy they usually are. Parking: A huge plus for this location is the free street parking, making it an easy and accessible stop compared to other busy areas. Overall Experience: I managed to time my last visit earlier in the day to beat the line, but even when it's busy, the quality is top-tier. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! It's a local gem that truly deserves more hype.

I had been meaning to try this place, and it did not disappoint! This is a local establishment with a classic ambiance. There's seating both inside and outside. Service is friendly. I like how this place has both kosher and vegan options, although it would be nice if there were a few more vegan options. You can get coffee here for 75 cents!! Or a coffee ice cream float! That's what I'll get next time :)

New favorite ice cream shop in Denver. And we have tried a LOT. Staff was very kind to allow us to try as many flavors as want. From a gluten free perspective, there were a LOT of options. Personal faves: peanut butter chocolate chip and cappuccino crunch! Such a nostalgic ambiance, classic ice cream parlor vibes.

The consistency was perfect, it barely melted while I ate it in the car, and I never got tired of the flavor. When they say salty, they mean SALTY, but it works so well with the sweetness of the Oreos and ice cream. If you like something to cut through the sugar instead of sweetness on top of sweetness, this is the flavor for you. The line was long, but it moved at a good pace, and the service was so kind. You can sample flavors before deciding, which I always appreciate. The outdoor seating gives it a casual, relaxed feel and makes it easy to hang out and enjoy your treat right away. I'd absolutely come back for another scoop of Salty O!

The pumpkin (chocolate) chip ice cream was wonderful, even better than the 16th Street chocolate with fudge chunks, and it takes a lot for me to prefer anything to chocolate! Be prepared to wait in line for a while anytime you visit Little Man, unless perhaps the dead of the winter, a season when I haven't visited. But it's worth it!

We…read morestumbled upon this little gem completely by accident while visiting the Natural History Museum, and honestly? Best accidental discovery of my entire trip to Denver. This tiny, adorable hole-in-the-wall shop is everything you want in a neighborhood ice cream spot -- warm, welcoming, unpretentious, and run by two of the most genuinely lovely women I've ever encountered in the food service industry. From the moment our group of six walked in, we felt like we'd been coming here for years. They were patient, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about every single thing they make. Now let me talk about the ICE CREAM, because wow. Six people, multiple flavors between us, and not one single complaint -- which if you know my family, is basically a miracle. Everything was rich, creamy, and tasted completely homemade in the best possible way. But the thing that absolutely sent me over the edge? BANANA PUDDING. Multiple banana pudding options. I grew up in the South and I have been low-key grieving the lack of banana pudding culture everywhere else I've lived, and here it is -- in Denver, Colorado -- done absolutely right. I may have embarrassed myself slightly. No regrets. This is a Black woman-owned business and these two have built something truly special. It's family-friendly, it's joyful, and it has that rare quality of feeling like a place that was made with real love. If you're anywhere near the museum, you would be genuinely doing yourself a disservice to walk past this place. Go in. Get the banana pudding. Thank me later.
