After dragon boat practice at Sloan's Lake (shoutout to Team Colorado RPT), we usually make our way to get a cup. Edgewater is a great place to hang with the team after practice and ice cream is a great way to cool down after a hot practice. Honey ice cream is a fave of ours and after having it at Happy Cones, other "honey like ice cream" have disappointed us. The Hokey Pokey is a top favorite of ours. We have tried other flavors but always come back to the Hokey Pokey. Went to the Edgewater location. It's good but it's over priced. Adding an up charge for a cone is a little offensive, I understand the decorated waffle cone but not a simple cone. The quality feels good though. I wish the flavors were more inventive, maybe the type of cream is a constraint. Hands down, one of my favorite Ice Cream shop in the Denver metro! It is very unique in the sense that they incorporate fresh fruit into the ice cream right in front of you! The New Zealand styled ice cream is super creamy and isn't too sweet.
