when we went poor guy was working alone and it was so crowded. i tried a few samples and none really spoke to me so i went safe with chocolate and it was honestly so bad. it was watery and didn't really have a strong chocolate taste. pretty disappointing

My two experiences with Milkbox were inconsistent. The first time they were slow and, literally out of half the flavors on offer. I was able to get a scoop of my fourth choice. Since they only offer a handful of flavors at a time, this was truly disappointing. The peaches and cream I settled for was good, but extremely icy, so not very pleasant to eat. To top things off, the guy who server it to me could have cared less about being at work. Not a good start. A few days later, we tried again. This time, the ice cream was velvety and I got my first choice. So did my friend. I recommend the hazelnut brownie and the blueberry basil. The corn was good, too. Both visits were in the early evening, the first a Saturday and the second a Tuesday. Do I don't think it was the time of day that made the difference. I would go back just because of the convenience and the cool flavor combinations. I just wouldn't have any particular expectations.

A lovely ice cream shop. You can enter from the shared door with the coffee shop next to it in union station. More of a milky type of an ice cream so not as creamy. I liked how the ice cream wasn't overly sweet as well. It had a nice texture more reminiscent of grocery store ice cream so nothing to complain about.

Double scoop in a waffle cone! Lemon meringue and strawberry!

Small ice cream spot tucked away inside the Union station. Quick and efficient service by extremely friendly staff. Not too mention the flavors were creamy and delicious! Could not recommend more

Not good experience. Partially ruined my lunch time today after a nice meal at thirsty lion. Thought ice cream would be the only cold thing here. Older guy worker working lunch shift was not good. Not friendly and didn't even offer samples. Seemed annoyed I was there to bother him in an empty store. The decoration and the quotes on the wall were cool. The coffee shop next door was a complete different vibe with all the workers seeming to enjoy their job and work with one another. When asked about flavors, he seemed annoyed I even asked him. Maybe he was having a hard day. Idk. I don't like posting things like this but man, just not the best vibe. Ended up getting the strawberry sorbet and only took one bite. I threw the rest away. I NEVER do that. Texture was not good or refreshing and too sweet. And it was like 6.26. Probably never coming back here again. Look elsewhere to like Van Leeuwen or little ice cream man

Milk box is located in the old barber shop inside Denver's Union Station. A cute spot offering small-batch ice cream in hand crafted flavors. Milk box not only offers your scoops in a cone or cup, they have sundaes and shakes that will blow your mind. For the 21+ club they have the best boozy shakes out there- yep they're the bomb!! They are located in the southwest corner of the Great Hall in Union Station next door to a coffee shop. Prices are posted on a video screen. They had 7 ice creams and 2 sorbets. You cannot see the ice cream in the freezer but samples are free. I got a dip of pistachio with a dip of coffee ice cream on top. Only 1 table inside to sit at. A little bit of swag (T-shirts, drink mugs, coffee cups) available for sale. I was served quickly. My ice cream was good.

I love the location of this ice cream shop as it's located at Union Square. It's the perfect treat as you're waiting on your train or shuttle to a tourist stop. However, I found the ice cream to have a powdery texture. Both the chocolate and strawberry had very light flavors and were not very enjoyable. I only ate about 1/3 of my one scoop.

Really nice ambience. A nice little place to grab ice cream. I think they're reasonably priced. I chose the classic vanilla scoop. It tasted like vanilla bean. There's a tea/coffee shop across from the creamery and you can charge your phone there and do some class work maybe. Overall a nice place.

Small scoops of dulce de leche and cosmic berry

Our hotel stay in Union Station included two small ice creams at this location so we took advantage of it during our visit. We had the dulce de leche and cosmic berry flavors. Staff served us and comped us when we showed our hotel keys (we did leave a tip). I'd say it was good ice cream but not extraordinary. Good for a nice treat when you are at Union Station.

Rocky road and salted Carmel

Creamy ice cream at its best. I tried the Rocky road and the salted Carmel with Pb cups. Both were really good, both soft and creamy. They are located inside union station, so we were able to sit inside the station and people watch while having our ice cream. I thought that $5.00 for 2 scoops in a cup was a really fair price, we got a lot of ice cream for that price. We parked in the lot attached to the station, which was another $5.00 for 20 minutes.

Milkbox Ice Creamery offers premium organic ice cream and alcoholic shakes. I tried a scoop of the Cookie Monster(chocolate chip cookie pieces in a blue vanilla ice cream). I thought it looked so cool and tasted like chocolate chip cookies. The Union Station setting is beyond gorgeous. You can sit inside and enjoy the air conditioning or head outside for people watching.

No place nICEr to grab ice cream! Milkbox Ice Creamery is conveniently located within the Denver Union Station for a sweet treat on the go with a menu of ice cream and boozy milkshake offerings. It is a charming, welcoming place and I was able to sample flavors before deciding on what I want to order. I tried the vegan salted caramel Oreo as well as the orange chocolate chunk then settled on the staff recommendation of cherry cordial. I am impressed with their vegan flavor offerings and the orange chocolate chunk was captured very well but I had been having a craving for cherry this week. The cherry cordial ice cream (single scoop is $4) is lightly sweet in flavor perfect after a big meal and the waffle cone (+$1) has such a satisfying crunch. It appears that the ice cream flavors rotate so stop by to see what you will get! Atrinity (I hope I got your name correctly! My apologies if I misheard/misspelled your name) is an ice cream serving angel! She was very friendly throughout my time at the ice cream place and made me feel so welcomed to Denver. Her positive energy radiated and I will forever be touched by her kindness. I checked in to obtain the 15% off coupon for my first visit. She asked if it was my first time to which I replied yes and I was visiting from CA. We joked about the weather being cold for Californians and she offered me ice cream on the house! I was so taken aback in surprise and her generosity. It has been a very difficult week for me since Monterey Park is my hometown and a mass shooting took place there on Lunar New Year eve. I have been sad and upset this week about the Asian elders whose lives were cut short too soon as well as being triggered in my classes during discussions. Her act of kindness made me smile for the first time since it happened. Don't forget how impactful you can be and an act of kindness goes such a long way. Thank you so, so much Atrinity, please continue to be your amazing self!

Sweet Cow has been surprising me in a good way lately!! I've been a few times now, and one thing I…read morereally appreciate is that they let you split a single scoop into two flavors, which is perfect when you want to try more than one option without committing to a full double scoop. On one visit, I tried the oatmeal cookie and the salted cookies & cream. Both were solid, but neither totally blew me away. The oatmeal cookie was good, but I think it could've leaned harder into the cookie flavor and texture. The salted cookies & cream definitely lives up to its name -- very salt forward -- which I know some people will love. Most recently though, I had the chocolate peanut butter pretzel and the regular cookies & cream,m. Both absolutely knocked it out of the park. The cookies & cream is honestly one of the best versions of that flavor I've had in a long time -- super creamy with generous cookie pieces throughout. The chocolate peanut butter pretzel was the real standout for me. Rich chocolate and peanut butter flavor without being overly heavy or overwhelming, plus huge chunks of pretzel mixed throughout that added the perfect salty crunch. The mix of sweet, salty, creamy, and crunchy worked ridiculously well together. Overall, Sweet Cow has some top-tier flavors, even if a few don't hit quite as hard. Definitely a spot worth coming back to, especially when they nail combinations like that chocolate peanut butter pretzel.

When we got there, the line poked out of the door, but the staff was super friendly and fast, so it moved quite quickly. You can sample the ice cream too before you commit. There's pints and cookie ice cream sandwiches too if you like. I really liked that they have pretzel cones here and I've never seen that anywhere else. They're in the style of the hard pretzels, but they're a nice salty savory, crunchy addition to your ice cream. Great addition of flavor and texture. I got a single scoop of their banana cream pie and it was nice and banana flavor but in a subtle, not too sweet, not too artificial way with some marshmallows in it too. Perfect with the cone that I got too. Good stuff. Don't mind stopping by in the future again!

They don't just make the ice cream taste like oatmeal raisin cookies; there are huge chunks of actual oatmeal raisin cookies mixed throughout, which made it even better. If you're an oatmeal raisin cookie fan like I am, this flavor is an absolute must-try!! I also tried the Salted Oreo. I normally love a salty-and-sweet combo, but this one leaned a little too salty for my personal taste. Still good, just not quite as much of a standout for me as the oatmeal raisin. Overall, definitely a spot worth checking out, and I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors.

It always hits the spot and I never get tired of it. It has that classic neighborhood feel where there is usually a line outside, but it is always worth the wait. The Order: Salted Oreo & Price The Salted Oreo is my go-to because it has the perfect sweet and salty balance I love. If I'm not getting that, I'm getting the Lemon Custard. Both are incredible. For a double scoop in a cup, it cost about $8-$9. While they have great vegan and dairy-free options, the Salted Oreo I get is their traditional dairy version. Homemade: One of the reasons it tastes so good is that they make their own ice cream and cones right on-site! You can really taste the difference in the freshness of the scoops and the crunch of the waffle cones. Customer Service: Even when it's packed inside with people ready to order, the staff is very quick and efficient. The customer service is great, which is impressive considering how busy they usually are. Parking: A huge plus for this location is the free street parking, making it an easy and accessible stop compared to other busy areas. Overall Experience: I managed to time my last visit earlier in the day to beat the line, but even when it's busy, the quality is top-tier. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! It's a local gem that truly deserves more hype.

This tiny, adorable hole-in-the-wall shop is everything you want in a neighborhood ice cream spot -- warm, welcoming, unpretentious, and run by two of the most genuinely lovely women I've ever encountered in the food service industry. From the moment our group of six walked in, we felt like we'd been coming here for years. They were patient, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about every single thing they make. Now let me talk about the ICE CREAM, because wow. Six people, multiple flavors between us, and not one single complaint -- which if you know my family, is basically a miracle. Everything was rich, creamy, and tasted completely homemade in the best possible way. But the thing that absolutely sent me over the edge? BANANA PUDDING. Multiple banana pudding options. I grew up in the South and I have been low-key grieving the lack of banana pudding culture everywhere else I've lived, and here it is -- in Denver, Colorado -- done absolutely right. I may have embarrassed myself slightly. No regrets. This is a Black woman-owned business and these two have built something truly special. It's family-friendly, it's joyful, and it has that rare quality of feeling like a place that was made with real love. If you're anywhere near the museum, you would be genuinely doing yourself a disservice to walk past this place. Go in. Get the banana pudding. Thank me later.
