It was a beautiful, sunny February day so 5 of us went to Right Cream. It was very crowded with a line out the door and we were told it would be 45 minutes to get our burgers. So some of our group started with their ice cream while we waited. There was only one person cooking and one running the front - and I do mean running. She didn't even have time to take a breath! Their ice cream is definitely their star. The flavors are creative and delicious and the toppings craveworthy. I've had their burgers before at a pop up and they were wonderful. That wasn't the case today. I'm betting that was due to there only being one cook and a large crowd. I'm not sure why they were so understaffed on a warm weekend day but it definitely effected the food quality. All of our burgers were way overcooked and greasy. I had to wipe the grease off the top of my bun before I ate some. The fries were pretty good but cold. They only have 4 small tables outside for seating and all the tables were pretty dirty. There was also a lot of trash on the ground. So I bumped my rating to 4 stars because of the ice cream and the front of house staff person. I don't think I'd order food there again though. read more

Came on a Sunday around 1:20pm. Tiny shop with ice cream, some breakfast foods and smash burgers. The ice cream flavors to purchase in pints have really wild mix of flavors. The ones sold by the scoop are more normal. The cream is really good in general. We tried the salty graham cracker which was tasty and the dark chocolate wafer cookie was also good. We had to wait like 20 min for the smash burger ($10) which was annoying. But I think they get a ton of burger orders from Denver beer co next door. The burger was really good. Come for the ice cream, stay for the burgers. Right Cream has been one of my favorite spots in Denver for the past couple of years, and I eagerly look forward to returning each time. It's a cute little shop off S. Downing. If you get ice cream, the ube Oreo flavor is a frequent go-to, but don't count the Cheez-its one out either. It's creamy, and just the flavor combos they come up with make you want to try more. But the smashburgers are definitely one of the best in Denver! Incredible selection of really unique ice creams and they do not go light on the mixins. They offer both scoops and pints (and usually the offerings are completely different). I recommend their scoops over their pints as the 4 pints I got recently (on 2 separate occasions) were all a little freezer burnt and a little harder than I'd hope while the scoops were the perfect consistency. They also do $9 burgers that I've heard are delicious but I went in the evening l around 7 and the wait was about half an hour and I was in a rush that day so decided to just do the ice cream and come back for burgers another day. Visited on a Friday night. Confusing set up as we walked up. We were just there for ice cream but there were several people there waiting on burgers also. Those sold out pretty much as we stood there waiting to order ice cream. There were about a thousand little kids hanging all over the ice cream case, not sure where the parents were as it seemed to be a free for all, children gone wild night. In any case, the kids were trying every single flavor and once they all finally cleared out, we were able to inch closer to the ice cream counter. The toasted Thai tea and pistachio cake batter were good. The strawberry was suspect, it was purple and didn't taste right with barely any flavor. I never really care about that kind of thing but I came here with my girlfriend for burgers for the first time and ordered without being given a wait time which is fine, but it ended up taking over 40 minutes for two burgers. When I moved from Charlotte, my favorite ice cream owner recommended I try this spot. Similar to my favorite in Charlotte, the quality here is fantastic. The base is perfectly creamy and delicious on its own. The mix-ins are fantastic. The one thing that isn't my favorite is the ratios of the pints. I've tried 10+ pints and I always feel like there is so much of the crumble mix-in that it really distracts from the ice cream. On the other hand, the swirl mix-in is barely there, so I wish it was more balanced. That being said, all of the components are fantastic, so it's still a great ice cream. I want to try scoops in the shop to see what that's like. I've also tried one of their burgers which is fantastic.
