We got our food to go so I don't have photos of it but the smash burgers were delicious great flavor and crisp. I got mine without a bun but Ryan got his with the bun. You can get a few different add ons like onions or pickles. We also got their beef tallow fries and those were also very yummy crispy and good flavor as well. The people working here were so sweet. It's obviously an ice cream place too and they offered to let us try samples as well. We got a pint to go for cookies n cream one of his faves. Dillan and Ethan were both truly a delight. It's a small little place with a lot of heart. There's some space to eat outside and it's near lots of other fun things as well in the area. We got ours to go and it was ready pretty quickly. I would return for sure. Thanks Right Cream!
Yes, they have great ice cream, that is super creamy with a solid selection of flavors, but you should really make time to come in for whenever they are grilling burgers! They were phenomenal and I had the Double Patty, Smash Cheeseburger with Pickled Jalapeños and Griddled Onions, plus a side of Duck Fat Fries, which were super crispy. 11/10 food with 10/10 ice cream too.
I did not go for the ice cream. I am being transparent. I went for the burger. Odd, right? Well, I am slowly knocking off every burger on Westword's Best Burger list, and this was next. Not only did it deliver, but throwing it #10 all time (don't tell the other place that I said was #10-I moved it down one). Anyway, both burger and ice cream were glorious. You are not even sure that they serve burgers before you go, as the website doesn't really say anything, but apparently it started as a Thursday night thing only, became popular, and now they serve this magical burger all the time. I was quite impressed, to say the least. The actual place? Only outdoor seating, and I would call it...adorable. Rules. They don't serve booze, but have a relationship with Denver Beer Co right next door. You can't buy the burger or ice cream and then take it to Denver Beer. Like Top Gun, you need to be inverted. Get the beer first, and then bring it to Right Cream to eat this delicious burger (or ice cream). That is accepted. The burger. It is a double smash that takes about ten minutes (worth the time), and literally can't fit in the bun. I always start my burgers eating from the outside and working in (methodical, as I am going through a list-cut me a break). The outside? You can taste the quality, with no sauce. As you work inward, the sauce magnifies everything, and the burger just gets better. You do you. I added onions and jalapenos. I like toppings that add to the taste, but don't distort my true taste for the burger. Don't ask me about ketchup and mustard. These high level places don't need that stuff. This one didn't either. So, let's talk ice cream. Not sure where you are at in life, but when I see the word "Ube," I tremble with excitement. I got a cup, and it was incredible. They had other flavors, but my eyes could not divert from the word Ube. So, also hard to catch on their website, they serve breakfast too! Cool neighborhood to walk around after. Ethan was my counter guy, and he walked me through all of my irritating questions as a reviewer, along with not judging me on all of my photos in this tiny place. Ethan, thank you. Great, great service. I will summarize with my favorite band, Van Halen. You want a burger? Come here. You want ice cream? Come here?. This was the Best of Both Worlds. They didn't write a song called Best of Three Worlds, but, if you add the brewery next door, then that would be the song. I highly recommend, and see you there when I come back for that killer burger, ube, and a beer again...
Honestly so good, and so simple. Ordered their classic smash burgers and then a spiced chai marshmallow ice cream & a mandarin ice cream and they were SO good. Limited seating but worth coming too!
Right Cream is LEGENDARY within my friend group. Between the sandwiches and rotating ice cream flavors, I feel like someone is here at least once a week. Or at least checking Right Cream's Instagram stories daily. I had the fish sandwich and fries one time, as well a mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, and everything was phenomenal. My order was picked up, but it was delicious enough to write a review. Would love to visit by myself in the future and grab another bite - maybe a smash burger with pints of ice cream!
It was a beautiful, sunny February day so 5 of us went to Right Cream. It was very crowded with a line out the door and we were told it would be 45 minutes to get our burgers. So some of our group started with their ice cream while we waited. There was only one person cooking and one running the front - and I do mean running. She didn't even have time to take a breath! Their ice cream is definitely their star. The flavors are creative and delicious and the toppings craveworthy. I've had their burgers before at a pop up and they were wonderful. That wasn't the case today. I'm betting that was due to there only being one cook and a large crowd. I'm not sure why they were so understaffed on a warm weekend day but it definitely effected the food quality. All of our burgers were way overcooked and greasy. I had to wipe the grease off the top of my bun before I ate some. The fries were pretty good but cold. They only have 4 small tables outside for seating and all the tables were pretty dirty. There was also a lot of trash on the ground. So I bumped my rating to 4 stars because of the ice cream and the front of house staff person. I don't think I'd order food there again though.
Ambiance - cute neighborhood gem, small space, offers outdoor seating Service - staff was super nice, they offer tasting spoons if you want to try the flavors before committing Food - love that they offer a variety of flavors, ice cream texture is thick and consistent
What can I say about Right Cream that I haven't already said? Their ice cream is elite, their rotating specials are always creative (and delicious), and somehow, they even got me to enjoy a fish sandwich. But today? We're not here to talk ice cream. We're here to talk burger because that's the one that made me fall in love with this place in the first place. Let's break it down: Two perfectly smashed patties Melty American cheese House-made pickles Homemade sauce Toasted brioche bun (the right kind of squish) It's juicy, it's messy, it's ridiculously satisfying. Add grilled onions and fries to round it out and I promise--it's perfection. I know Right Cream is known for dessert, but don't sleep on the savory side of the menu. The burger is genuinely one of the best in Denver. Just go. And maybe grab a pint to go for dessert--you'll thank me later.
Wanted to stop by and try the burgers but was not able to try their ice cream this time around and will be back! Mainly street parking and can get busy in this area. Right next to a brewery and nice vibes. Service was quick! Burger was nothing special. It was good but not really worth it in my opinion. Good smash on the burger, crispy laced edges, but beef a little over cooked. Spread and pickles were a good balance. $3 extra for fries and you barely get a handful of them. Will send another review for their main product, ice cream.
Great burgers and best fries I've had in awhile! Great outdoor spot for kids to run. Smash burgers were outstanding with a great "crisp!"
Went here for their smash burgers and they did not disappoint! These smash burgers were amazing! Highly recommend

When I moved from Charlotte, my favorite ice cream owner recommended I try this spot. Similar to my favorite in Charlotte, the quality here is fantastic. The base is perfectly creamy and delicious on its own. The mix-ins are fantastic. The one thing that isn't my favorite is the ratios of the pints. I've tried 10+ pints and I always feel like there is so much of the crumble mix-in that it really distracts from the ice cream. On the other hand, the swirl mix-in is barely there, so I wish it was more balanced. That being said, all of the components are fantastic, so it's still a great ice cream. I want to try scoops in the shop to see what that's like. I've also tried one of their burgers which is fantastic. They've started making a lot more food and it all looks great--I definitely want to try more. read more

I don't know if this was truly part of the plan when Right Cream opened next to DBC, but it means you can have your duck fat fries & ice cream, and eat it too. The space isn't large but there's some outside seating to share your treats, such as the mix-in offerings that are sold only as pints. Also-- I'm not lactose-intolerant but still appreciate their jar of free lactase pills! read more

Visiting from Chicago. First time at Right Cream and we will definitely be back! The smashburger was perfectly cooked and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ice cream - incredible! We tried several different flavors - mango with ube cake, apricot mandarin with cornflake toffee, and chocolate with cornflake. Really well balanced, interesting flavors. Get there early. We met at 6pm which was right before the crowds showed up. read more
We tried four flavors and they were all wonderful. Such thoughtful touches like a free lactose pill and a free topping with each scoop! Prices are reasonable for how high quality the ice cream was - we've certainly found a new spot! read more
Smashed burgers?! At an ice cream place?! I'm in! Sooo damn delicious. I only eat "smashed" burgers so this was right up my alley. They are super thin - just like I like it, well seasoned and filling. I was actually so full, I couldn't even try the ice cream. Guess I'll have to come back! read more
Not only do they serve ice cream, but as of now (august 2024) they serve breakfast sandwiches every Saturday! Simple but delicious! They also serve smashburgers every Thursday. Haven't had one yet but have heard great things read more

OMG the fruity pebbles was the best and I wasn't the only one that thought that! This literal hole in the way is definitely worth the trip. I tasted the Thai tea (not too sweet), pumpkin(fresh and smooth), vanilla (some good a** vanilla!), mango (fresh), and of course the best for last fruity pebbles! The customer service was everything you can ask for, they were very patient with our big group of 8, lol. They had recommendations and let me sample the freshly made caramel, just pure and a good experience. As I mentioned it's a literal hole in the wall in an alley way. Located in what I learned today is the Milk district, the surrounding area, shops, murals, and restaurants make it that much better. read more

Love this place so much! Wish there was somewhere you could sit inside but the ice cream is so worth it. They also have such incredible and unique flavors. We got the golden milk, hojicha, Ube, and lychee mango sorbet. Loved all the favors. They were all so flavorful and weren't too sweet. The people were incredibly kind and the store was clean. Highly recommend! read more

This place is just okay. The ice cream leaves a coating on your tongue and mouth. The smashburger is just okay, it's worse than a Freddy's burger. It's got a good crisp on it but the flavors just aren't really there. The place seemed a little dirty and unhygienic, along with the staff. They seemed understaffed and like they didn't care too much about cleanliness. Probably won't come back. read more

Right Cream is incredible ice cream. Really interesting flavors, delicious chunks, and some of the best whipped cream topping for sundaes. All in all it's artisanal ice cream in the best way - lots of creativity for the walk up treats and pint flavors. BUT this isn't a typical scoop shop and if you don't 'get' Instagram you'll probably need a friend to help you figure it out. There are 2 ways to acquire Right Cream.... To order pints, you pre-order through the website. There's a drop on Monday at 10am and then a re-stock later in the evening. Once it's sold out, that's it for the week. The weekly menu is posted on Insta the night before ordering opens up. Pre-orders can be picked up on the weekend. Right Cream is also open for walkups during limited hours on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday afternoon (although this is mostly consistent, weather and other factors mean that it changes a bit) so it's best to check Instagram stories for updates before going. The walk up menu has a few scoop flavors to choose from and other treats - if you're lucky it will be a weekend when there's a collab with a local business. Sometimes you can buy a mystery pint too. The only thing Right Cream doesn't have fully on lock is the 'operations' side of things. The line can get pretty long and move very slowly. read more

At the beginning of the week they release flavors for the week to pre order pints for pick up. I ordered their version of cookies and cream. It is cookies and cream ice cream with crunchy Oreo toffee and caramel swirls. I was greeted by a friendly staff and grabbed my order quickly. They have a variety of flavors at the shop for scoops and sundaes. The ice cream has great flavor and super creamy. Definitely recommend pre ordering a pint to indulge at home! read more
