Still think this is the best bakery in Denver. Hands down . And their new location is so nice they have indoor and outdoor sitting - I'm beyond happy for them. Service is excellent. They added a little breakfast menu. Pastries are out of this world and they also have pretty good coffee. If you are in Denver, this place is a MUST. You'll not regret it read more

We visited Reunion very late in their day so there were not as many selections, but what they had was delicious. We got the goat toast, a loaf of the chocolate babka bread and a Pastel de nata. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our goat toast was on the Babka and it seemed like an odd combination but it was so tasty that I wanted more. The Patel de nata was a yummy little treat. The Babka was flavorful. The staff was friendly and helpful in making selections. The inside was clean especially for how busy they were. Seating inside and out, so that is nice! It is very pricey and we had a bit of sticker shock when we were told the total (the loaf did not have a price listed) so it won't be a frequent trip but we will be back! read more

Thursday morning I grabbed the famous Portuguese Nata and an Almond croissant. The Nata tasted like a creme brulee at first but then the rich egg flavor took over. It was a delicious bite with a buttery crust. The beautiful almond croissant had so many flaky layers and it was stacked with almost two distinct layers of filling. It was absolutely delicious! I kove the open view bakery and full view windows to see the bakers and the products. read more

Went here on a quick trip from the office. The pasties and absolutely beautiful and super tasty!! My favorite were the babka (which did contain nuts) and the danish of the day which was guava and coconut. Each one was super flaky and delicious. The staff was super helpful in selections and really nice. There is some seating in there but wouldn't necessarily want to stay and hang. Looking forward to trying some of their full meals read more

It's a cute little spot with a good amount of things. They have a couple specialty items that were very good! I already forgot the name but the custard pastry is a must try. The woman who took our order was really nice as well and helped me with the menu. I'd recommend this spot if you're in the area and want a baked good or breakfast item. read more

Now in a new location. Reunion Bread has relocated to Pearl Street in the Wash Park area. They still offer the same great pastries and other scrumptious bread items, but now they offer cafe seating! Delicious as ever and now you can stay for a while to soak it all in. If it's not sold out, I highly recommend the chicken empanada. Flaky outside, delicious and flavorful inside. Finish it off with a sweet cream puff, and you are all set. The staff, as always, are super helpful, knowledge, and want you to have a great experience. Yes, you can smell the bread baking from the street! Delicious! read more

Their new space is great with both a small indoor and outdoor seating area. I went at 10am on a Friday and they were sadly already out of the churro croissant which I keep missing but they had everything else. Their pastela de nata ($3.50) was flaky and delicious. Their golfeado ($7) is a more acquired taste as it's both sweet and savory with cheese on top and a mild anise flavoring. Almond croissant ($7.50) and babka ($5.50) were perfect. Prices for pastries are not listed at the store hence why I included them here. They have some great looking loaves of bread but I didn't try one at this visit. They also have a full breakfast/lunch and coffee menu. Service was very friendly and helpful. read more

Wonderful to be reunited with reunion Bredin their new location! Maestro/Chef Ishmael is at the helm as usual and spectacularly successful in recreating the beautiful pastries that gained him so much recognition at his original location. We should be so lucky as to have this caliber of pastry eye wax poetic, thinking of the pockets of buttery goodness that await you from the flawlessly executed croissant to the mouthwatering buttery million layer tartlets who's custard will leave you satiated and forever dreaming of their silky texture. Thoughtful seating is accentuated by sweet floral arrangements at each table and an expressive wall of modern clean euro mod mural awaits your musings. If your white whale is flawlessly baked bread, and perfectly transcendent pastry, then look no farther than Ishmael's brilliant Reunion Bread. read more

Wonderful baked goods. Come early as they sell out fast. Got here about 1230 on a Saturday and they were out of most items. Small bakery but everyone hand made. The chocolate babka was amazing. Chocolatey and nuts and the slices are cut 3 fingers thick, so not teasing you with a thin slice. We also got the goat toast, which is the babka with goat cheese, whisky jam and pistachios. Definitely like the plate clean. Staff was super helpful, great vibe. Small sitting space with a few outdoor tables. read more

Probably my favorite butter croissant in Denver. It is just so flaky and airy. Pastel de nata was fine but not standout. Also tried their pecan chocolate chip cookie which was more of the gooey thick types of cookies. They seem to always have a line but it moves at a reasonable pace. Parking in their lot is limited but sounds like they're moving to South Pearl Street in March 2026. read more

Reunion Bread has moved to its new location on Pearl Street, and it is as busy as ever! If you want a good selection, arrive early, as both savory and sweet items will run out. They open daily at 8am and are closed on Mondays. We arrived on a Saturday at 10am before an appointment in the area, and a customer in front of me scored one of the last cream puff flavors of the day (sadness), so I had to go with a runner-up flavor (still delicious). This location has a more open, airy space with its own cafe seating area and shelves stocked with items from local vendors. A cool hand-painted mural in bright blue adorns the wall by the seating area. My bestie and I split the Spanish Empanada--a great savory treat with a flaky crust. We also shared a cream puff filled with a thick, not-too-sweet cream, pistachio, and mango puree. read more

This bakery is the real deal. The croissants are light and fluffy with so much flavor. The Venezuelan sticky bun was unique and delicious - a soft and sweet "sticky bun" . The nata, which was probably my favorite, was a flaky, crispy pastry puff filled with a really delicious custard in the middle - not too sweet. The service is quick and the people are very kind. The prices are fair. 10/10 visit. read more

"Best bakery in Denver" is a tough category to win but Reunion is always at the top. Their move to a bigger space in South Pearl opens them up to all kinds of possibilities and I can't wait to see where Ismael takes it. There's nothing here I haven't tried and loved. A nata is a must-try, it's one of my essential food groups now. You will have to get there early for the best selection and expect a small wait, even immediately after they open but I can promise it's worth it in every way. They have a couple seats and tables inside and out front if you can't wait until you get home to dig in. read more

Atmosphere: Reunion Bakery has a lively and welcoming atmosphere. There was a line when I visited, which shows how popular it is, but everything moved quickly and efficiently. It was a fun last-minute find, and the energy of the place made the experience even better. Food: I tried one of their croissant-style breads, and it was delicious crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside. It was definitely a messy choice, but completely worth it. Everything tasted fresh, and they also had ham and cheese sandwiches that looked great. I didn't get to try the coffee this time but I'm looking forward to coming back to try it. Service: The customer service was excellent. Everyone working there was friendly, helpful, and quick, even with a line. The staff made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Price: The prices were very affordable. I don't remember the exact pricing, but I believe it was around $15-$20 for three baked goods. Which felt reasonable for the quality and freshness. Overall Experience: Overall, Reunion Bakery delivered a great experience from start to finish. Delicious, freshly made food, friendly and efficient service, a fun atmosphere, and fair pricing. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to. read more

This bakery is always crowded or sold out. Go early, and you might have options to choose from. The staff is busy, the check out is limited to one person and if the person ahead of you placed a big order, you will have to wait a good 5 minutes. It's worth the wait. I got a nata and a greyere and ham croissant. The nata hits the spot with the subtle and sweet custard. The pocket is crispy. Now, the croissant - i am amazed that the layers did not flake off and make a total mess of my car. It is the first croissant i have encountered that holds its form. The whole experience is even better when you get to park out front instead of the garage. read more

I'm sorry but 17 dollars for a burnt piece of bread, unseasoned scrambled eggs, and ONE piece of bacon is outrageous!!

What a fine bakery Reunion is and even better since they moved from RINO to South Pearl St. Glenda bought the Country Sourdough Bread yesterday and the quality of the dough, crust, crumb, all were superb and exceptional. I liked what I saw from a baking standpoint that I decided to pay them a visit around noon today and had the opportunity to visit with Ishmael, the Venezuelan owner to talk about his baking style and sourdough baking in general. I showed him pictures of my artisanal sourdough baking there was an instant simpatico among bakers. I also ordered a ham and gruyere cheese croissant, an open almond croissant and a Golfeado, a Venezuelan sweet bun, these latter three never made it into the pics as I consumed the ham and cheese and brought the other two back to Glenda to enjoy, which she... and I did! Sorry about that! Ishmael gave me the ciabatta to try and I'll save this for later or tomorrow. Quality and customer service are what Reunion stand for and I'm sure I'll definitely return to try more breads and pastries. Very highly recommended! Btw, every time I visit a bakery, rest assured that I usually get on my running shoes and do another well deserved five to seven miles to work off the caloric load. read more

In the eclectic neighborhood that South Pearl street runs though you will find Reunion Bread Company. You will smell it and see the crowd before you see the doors. This is the second one of these stores and I promise, it is a place you do not want to miss. Immediately as you enter, the smells of crusty, fresh, sourdough and pastries greets you. I came in today looking for Nada, a flaky, creamy, egg custard that would take us back to our time in Lisbon, Portugal. I ordered ahead to make sure I didn't miss out on these beauties. There isn't a lot of seating room but it was a gorgeous day. We watched the team behind the counter preparing the scratch baked goods, This team was like a well oiled baking machine. The kitchen was super clean and there were racks of beautifully made pastries and loaves of bread ready to be added to the cases. We grabbed our natas and went outside. For a moment, we were transported right back to walking through the colorful streets of Lisbon! The pastry was buttery, flaky and absolutely perfect. The cream of the custard was eggy and sweet, covered with the lemon perfect dusting of cinnamon. This was an absolutely incredible experience and just what we were looking for on a sunny Saturday morning. I definitely will be back and urge you to not miss this experience! We went for breakfast and to try their pastries. I had the Eggsession breakfast sandwich. It was very good! The bread was the best. It was substantial. I was sad when I finished. My husband had the lox and egg. He also loved it. Again their bread is delicious! I've been trying out almond croissants around town and Reunion's is DELICIOUS! The croissant was cut in half and the top was flipped and stacked on top of the bottom. It was like a boat holding toasted almonds and creamy almond filling! Flaky crunchy and toasty! Sooo good! I really love the bread here. Both the seeded whole grain sourdough and the olive sourdough has been amazing. I will say, dealing with parking at the Source is an absolute pain. I would probably buy more often if they were located somewhere with easier parking. read more

Their ham and gruyere croissant was one of the best! The almond croissant was unique as it was baked three times when other places are usually twice baked. I went to get bread at 1pm one day and not only were they sold out of all bread, they were so snotty and acted like "why would you still think you could get bread this time of day?" Needless to say, I assumed this must be some pretty good bread so I went the next time promptly at 8am when they open. The bread was burned and nearly impossible to cut. Other reviewers have posted pictures of this. I had to vacuum my floors anytime I cut a slice. I thought maybe it was my knife but I went to Rebel today and their bread was perfect and my knife had no issues. Between such rude service and bad loaves, I don't need to be back here. read more

Holy mother of dough, this place is worth the wait. Came on a Saturday morning not really expecting the line, but this did give me time to consider my options and send the SO to get coffee from across the bridge in the other part of The Marketplace (although they do sell espresso drinks here as well). I suppose that's what happens when you're nominated for a James Beard. The universal fear of places like this is that you'll anticipate getting your hands all week on a warm, fresh, loaf or specialty croissant but they'll run out before your turn, so people tend to arrive early. Parking is free for 30 minutes in the covered garage. Fortunately, there are also dining tables and chairs around for those who don't like to be bipedal for too long. Even more fortunately, sometimes Ismael and his team will bake something yummy and bring it out to those waiting in line just because they like baking good bread. The only "menu" of sorts is a customizable letter board on the wall next to the register, which provides no descriptions of any pastries. So IYKYK, if you don't know, it's time to ask your neighbors in line or hold up the line while you probe one of the (extremely kind and friendly) employees taking orders. When you actually get within spitting range of the register, the display case is more helpful, and provides more accurate info on daily specials. Alternatively, stalk their Instagram account. The day we went, there were blueberry danishes, passionfruit tarts, glazed blueberry croissants, and other items that ran out before we even got there. The natas, little Portugese egg tarts, are a must try. Deceptively small but packed with gooey goodness and a flaky crust. The passionfruit tart was my next favorite thing, with the combo of silky pastry cream, tart flavor, and buttery crust. Danish? Perfection. Croissant? Stuff of dreams. The crookie was the only thing I might have passed on, a little too rich for me and hardened when I ate my leftovers later in the day. So excited that Ismael is such a young, hungry, carb connoisseur who constantly innovates with his offerings so I have more reasons to come back. read more

Reunion Bakery is a small-batch bakery and one of the BEST bakeries I've been to! The pastries looked so delicious I didn't even get a chance to take a photo before my friends and I dug in. We tried the Pastel de Nata, Sunflower Sourdough, and Santiago's Flourless Tart. - Pastel de Nata: A Portuguese egg custard tart with a flaky crust and creamy filling. They're mini, making them the perfect personal-size dessert--or leaving room to try more. I could eat a thousand of these, they were the clear winner for us. - Sunflower Sourdough: Good, but not amazing. Though I might be biased because I make sourdough at home. It has a great sour flavor, but after three days the crust got so hard it hurt your mouth to eat. If you plan to use the bread within a couple of days, I'd recommend trying it. - Santiago's Flourless Tart: The perfect amount of sweetness with hints of lemon, vanilla, and almond. It was incredibly moist and delicious--I'd come back just for this. Reunion Bakery is located in the Source Food Hall in RiNo but will be moving to South Pearl Street at the end of the month. Reunion Bakery is a MUST-visit. read more

I went for a walk on Thanksgiving morning and as expected there are no businesses open. And I'm glad things were not open because people should be resting on the holiday. However, I did see on Google maps during my morning walk that this place was open. I would not have found it without Google maps because it is hidden inside a building/food hall. I was very impressed with this place immediately. The staff was working hard and the cashier was super friendly. She asked us if it was our first time at this Bakery and I said yes, and she immediately gave us a signature pastry dessert to sample. Then she spoke about the other breakfast like items. We enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant plus the specialty egg croissant. I have never had anything like the specialty egg croissant because it was Soft gooey scrambled eggs with gooey soft cheese with a sprinkle of pistachios. We also enjoyed lattes and it was a perfect meal and way to spend the beginning of the holiday. We enjoyed them inside with the seating. There was music playing.
