This is a little bakery operation with some big heart. And tasty baked goods too. Stopped in for the first time today on my way home from yoga and was greeted by the friendliest/gracious owners. The cinnamon rolls, bear claw and fruit pastries are delightful. What a pleasant neighborhood find. Not to mention you don't have to worry about going home without a treat for your dog either, plenty of reasonable homemade treats for your pups. The operation hours are limited, hopefully they will grow as business grows. There was a tip box that every dollar goes to a local organization in need. This bakery was amazing! My boys Parker and Banner loved these delicious stamped dog bones! We tried their s'more's cookie, double chocolate donut, apple danish, pretzel, ham and cheese, and croissant donuts! Every single thing was delicious! We will be going again! read more

I just got into town to visit my dad and saw their sign on my way there. There are very few bakeries around here so I had to check it out! I'm really glad I did. This is a charming little bakery that has a nice selection of baked goods, including sweet, savory, and of course, bread! On top of that, they have a lot of baked dog treats! Super cool! I had a sticky cinnamon roll. It was perfectly sticky and delicious. It was jam-packed with goodness. Excellent quality. I met the owner Su Lee. She's really nice and runs a great bakery! It's right next door to the Village Inn. Definitely check it out and support this locally-owned small business. read more

I have been driving by "Grand Opening" signs all week, so my curiosity got the best of me and I stopped in. Upon entry, I was greeted warmly. The place is clean and tidy. Their display cases are armed with a nice variety of pastries for humans and dogs, alike. I bought cinnamon rolls for myself and colleague. When i got to the office, I warmed it up a little. Man, it was bursting with flavor. The dough was exceptionally made. I also bought my pups some treats. Been almost a year since my boyfriend and I started coming. It's our favorite place to go when we need a nice morning. I usually get a coffee from them but today I tried a chai. OMG. One of the best chais I've had in a while. Besides their food (which without a doubt is always delicious) they are the most lovely people to be around. 10/10 read more

I can't say enough about this perfect little bakery! Such personable service and clean. I found this gem when they were hidden away in their first location and we were hooked. So excited for this new and improved location. Make sure to note the hours! The goodies get devoured before my hubs and kids let me snap a photo. All the PASTRIES are DELISH! The BREAD is to Die For (butter buns for me and hubs says sourdough). I'm addicted to the breakfast pastries (sausage or chicken, either way, you can't go wrong). You haven't had sticky buns until you've had these. OH AND this is my go to bakery for Kids Party Cupcakes. I always get compliments on the classic simplicity. It's NEVER that over iced, super sweet, store bought flavor. It's that "more than homemade" touch busy (and/or not baking) moms crave. If you're looking for a humble, family owned bakery that offers everything from savory breads, sweet baked goods, decorated cakes, confectionaries, and even dog treats, look no further than SC Bakery (SC stands for "Seasons' Creations"). As the name suggests, make sure you check in frequently for seasonal offerings. Their prices are very affordable, ingredients are top notch (believe me as I got a behind the scenes tour and saw the ingredients shelf!) and pastries so yummy. My most favorite is the chocolate covered strawberries, better than Godiva's , stat! Your recipient will LOVE them if you decide to gift them (or keep for yourself, I've always intended to gift them but find myself finishing them all before having the chance to). Pay attention to the hours if you're coming in for retail. Or give the shop a call for pickup and delivery orders. Stop for coffee if you find yourself in the hood on Saturday mornings and try to get at least one of everything so you can sample all the goodness SC Bakery had to offer. My cranky coworkers deserved a pick me up from a rough work week so I headed over to the SC bakery and it was so worth it! The savory bites are always delicious! And I normally don't try pastries with nuts but the mini pecan was a bite of heaven! Excellent quality bakery with many options and something for everyone. They make a variety of fruit danish and they're all very tasty. Their Cro-cinni are mini cinnamon sugar covered 'morning buns' and are amazing. I've also tried their apple fritter on a previous visit and it was delicious too. read more

I'm not a big sweets person and my sister who lives with me has to suffer for it. I went into the bakery and bought their day old pastries. We did a cinammon roll, fruit tart and a donut. The sweets aren't just all sugar and are very delicious. I'd even brave the snow to go get some pastries, but they close at 2. read more

I just stopped in at this bakery for the first time, and it's awesome! Our neighborhood isn't known for high end pastries, and this is a little hole in the wall you'd probably pass right by if you didn't know any better! It appears to be family owned and they make everything from scratch right there in the back. I got a danish and a bear claw (both very good, well laminated and flaky). They also have donuts and dog treats! Starting in July they are going to shorten their hours (only open on Friday and Saturday) BUT will expand their menu! I'm both sad and excited! The only suggestion I have for them is to change the name because SC Bakery is kinda forgettable, but their pastries are anything but! read more

HOLY MOLY YALL. If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. Tucked away in a shopping center, this place doesn't seem like much.... But it's a hidden gem. Fresh, affordable, and just so dang good. Give this new bakery a try. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and tasty. It's kinda hard to find, but they are on the other side of the building away from all other establishments on the top floor. You'll have to walk up the stairs. We'll be back! read more

It's a cute little bakery on the top, back side of the strip mall on the southeast corner of Chambers and Mexico (behind the sandwich and pizza shops). They offer a little bit of everything! Pastries, cookies, muffins, croissants, chocolate covered strawberries, sweet loaves, danishes, mini cheesecakes, baggies of dog treats. There's so much packed in such a small space. It boggles my mind with delight! Everything I've had has been delicious! My favorites so far are the cheesecake, cheese danish, and mini chocolate loaf. Oh! And the croissant muffin thing... cruffin? So good! And the owners are super friendly and helpful! They've always been super sweet whenever we visit (unfortunately it's only been twice so far). Definitely recommend wholeheartedly! read more

My wife and I just had this bakery and I can say that we are in love already. We went early on a Saturday, the staff were very helpful and attentive and as we looked through the various items, we got help along the way. We ended up going with some day old pastries (50% off!) and WOW they are incredible. The Raspberry cheese danish is to die for as are the Cro-cinnis, a delicious cinnamon creation. The sausage pocket is incredible, you really can't go wrong here. The owner was so gracious and she even threw in a few of the current day's cro-cinnis, that sort of service and the great flavors have us already dreaming of going back. read more

I love this bakery. Miss Sue is so kind and a pleasure to talk to. If you're in the area, you need to stop by and support this locally owned small business. Are the prices more than what you would pay in a grocery store? A little. But the products are well worth the price. This place is AMAZING!!!! I usually don't do reviews, but this place deserves it. The pastries are amazing. The owner is so nice and Welcoming. I truly recommend this place. The egg and potato wraps are DeLICIoUS!! Also the turnover apple pastry. She even has homemade treats for dogs. A total gem this place. Google maps shows that SC Bakery is on Chambers and Mexico. But they are actually on Illif and Chambers. Right next to Village Inn. Highly recommended, you won't get disappointed. read more

We saw the grand opening signs and decided to stop in. The lady waiting on us was extremely helpful and friendly. The pastries are amazing! We will definitely be coming back and love having a bakery in our neighborhood. We tried cinnamon rolls, bear claws, almond croissants and a couple of the fruit turnovers and they are all fantastic! My first time at the SC Bakery. I went in early on a Sat. morning, 7:30am, and I was surprised to find 4 other customers had the same idea. But now I know what brings folks into this small bakery early. The goodies are delicious! I bought 3 different breakfast pastries, a filled donut, a cheese danish, and a pecan roll. Everything was delicious, but the pecan roll was extra good! {some folks call them sticky buns} I would have loved to try a cupcake or something sweeter, but the cases were basically full of breakfast type Danish. Which was just fine for a Sat. morning. Another customer recommended the cinnamon bun, but I skipped that this time. I was greeted immediately when I walked into the door and waited on promptly, even though the place was busy. The bakery was organized and very clean. The danish were absolutely some of the best we had ever tasted. I will def go back! Thank you very much for a delicious Sat. treat! read more

Cannot recommend SC bakery enough! Su produces excellent quality baked goods and I have yet to find anything that I don't absolutely love. Like stopping in just to see what new creation she has available and truly appreciate that she remembers every family member that's stopped by to check out her pastries. But I was disappointed during my most recent visit when my cortado was made with cow's milk instead of the almond milk I ordered and paid extra for. I didn't realize until I'd already taken a few sips. The staff were kind and quickly remade the drink, which I appreciated, but I did end up feeling unwell for a few hours afterwards. It's frustrating to pay an upcharge for non-dairy milk and then not receive it, so I hope more care can be taken with orders like this. I also think it's about time that the upcharge for non-dairy milk is reconsidered, even Starbucks is doing it!

It's frustrating to pay an upcharge for non-dairy milk and then not receive it, so I hope more care can be taken with orders like this. I also think it's about time that the upcharge for non-dairy milk is reconsidered, even Starbucks is doing it!

They were terrific, we were parched after the M Mart event, and the tea shop was just a mile further south, so we stopped there before heading home. The shop is in a strip shopping center. There is an overhead sign, but the lettering on the windows is extremely hard to see--at least with the setting sun hitting them. We finally found the shop and shared a Yuzu shaken tea. A friendly staffer quickly prepared the drink for us. It was just as delicious as the sample we tried earlier at M Mart. The chance to sit quietly while enjoying a delicious drink definitely rejuvenated us from the bustle of the M Mart event. Tried a variety of pasties today and all I can say is outstanding pastries. These taste like home and are so delicate and delicious. The savory options are amazing, so much flavor and not overpowering at all. I'm a huge pastry fan and these are spot on, definitely will be coming back when I need my fix. Owners are super kind and loving and really appreciate every customer. They are in a plaza near a hair salon. Definitely call if you can locate it as it is a hidden gem. Everything is amazing! best bakery in town! if they have any available i highly suggest the cannoli, it is one of the best i have ever had. Su and her husband are great also. Great selection! I can tell that they use high quality ingredients to deliver such a delicious taste. My favorite was the cro-nuts. Those are not easy to make! The maple pecan one was divine. Follow the signs on Chambers Rd to the strip mall of shops behind Fat Shack. This bakery is upstairs. Will definitely visit again! read more
