I found this spot specifically thru the "Top 100" 2026 list on Yelp. This is one of the few restaurants featured in Colorado, so I had this spot on my list. After finally making it out with my friends during my travels to Denver, I can definitely see why it was reviewed well enough to make it. The Banh Mi sold here aren't the typical Banh Mis you would find in Viet shops because they put their own twist on these traditional sandwiches. They have really unique options & a good variety of meat choices. It seems to have some French/Japanese/Korean influences woven into these creations. The menu in-store also offers detailed photos of whats inside as to help you make your very difficult decision on what to get. I personally got to try PHO-FRENCH DIP which features beef brisket. Upon first bite, it was delicious! The brisket is plenty. The hoisin & sriracha sauce paired with it all. The veggies appeared fresh & crunchy. The bread was fully baked in-store. Since it's a tribute to the french dip, they had their own rich pho broth type soup to dip it in which complemented the sandwich well. The dip was good enough to kinda drink as well. Overall, I felt the food offered here is great - you can't go wrong with any decision. My friends and I said that we were all impressed & would like to come back again if possible. I too would want to come back to try their braised pork belly next time because that looked good!
Love the banh mi here! We ordered the chicken katsu and braised pork belly banh mi! Both were super filling and delicious with fresh veggies. The meat was tender, flavorful and cooked really well. My favorite was definitely the chicken katsu. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Would definitely come back! Service here is great! The worker was super nice and welcoming, waited patiently while we were ordering and offered great suggestions.
I'm visiting from California for the weekend and was doing my research to find some of the best eats to try during my limited stay. I referenced the Yelp 100 of 2026 and found Golden Banh Mi off that list. This place is a gem! We were instantly greeted by warm welcomes from the staff and owner. There are so many great options on the menu we had a difficult time deciding what to order and the owner graciously jumped in to guide us with recommendations. We ordered the Pho-rench Dip and the Braised Pork Banh Mi. Both were so insanely big, juicy and delicious that I couldn't tell you which was better than the other. We also received complimentary bags of chips while we waited for our order, that didn't have much of a wait at all. Although, this is my first time, I can tell that this spot is consistently good because a lot of regulars streamed in for the lunch rush and were chatting it up with the owner. I really enjoyed the community feel and welcoming vibes. You can't skip this place!
I ended up at Golden Banh Mi almost by accident. I was killing time before a trip into H Mart and wanted something quick to eat. Normally I default to Korean stew around there, but that whole area in Aurora is packed with options, so I figured I would try something different. Golden Banh Mi kept popping up, so I went for it. First thing, this is not a traditional banh mi in the strict sense. The bread stood out right away. Crispy outside, soft inside, but not a classic baguette. That said, I am not knocking it at all. It worked really well for the sandwich and honestly tasted great. I ordered the pho beef banh mi, which I had never seen before. The beef was easily the highlight. Really good quality, well cooked, and then they take it a step further by giving you a pho dipping sauce on the side. That combo alone made it feel different than anything I have had before. It also had that sweet sauce and extras that you would potentially expect from a pho - just laid out in a sandwich. Service was also a big win. The guy taking my order was genuinely friendly, helpful, and just easy to talk to. It felt like he actually cared that you enjoyed what you ordered, which always matters more than people admit. Only real downside is that my family was not with me, because now I need an excuse to come back to the area and introduce it to them. Overall, this was a top tier sandwich experience and absolutely worth stopping for if you are anywhere near H Mart.
I have heard amazing things about this banh Mi spot and decided to order the braised pork belly and the roasted pork belly. It was packed with pickled veggies and their mayo. Plenty of meat and their bread had just the right crunch without giving bread cuts in your mouth. Both the meats had great flavor. Although they were the same cut, I could taste the difference in cooking methods. The meat was tender and cooked just right. The boys made the sandwich quickly and they took my order promptly. There are some tables inside for you to enjoy the sandwich immediately. It gives bánh mì cafe vibes. Very inviting and cozy.
Nestled in south west Denver lies an unassuming, hole-in-the-wall joint slanging some tasty Vietnamese cuisine. With a welcoming vibe, lo-fi music, and anime playing on the TV this hot lunch spot earned its position on Yelp's 2026 Top 100. The Steak & Kimcheese was absolutely dynamite, emphasis on the dynamite. The hidden jalapeños do tend to dominate the taste of the entire sandwich, so if you don't like spice maybe order the jalapeños on the side. The steak & kimcheese, the belle of this ball, made my mouth water upon my first chomp. The steak was well seasoned, tender, and hearty. Even half of a sandwich filled me up because they packed it. I'll definitely be back to try their other favorites (the breakfast banh mi looked incredibly tempting), sip on a Cherry Coke, and take in the ambiance.

The sandwich is the perfect size for one. The French bread is lightly toasted with a nice crunch. The baguettes are all made in house and freshly baked! This banh mi is packed with flavor. Think of it as a Korean Vietnamese Philly cheese steak. If you like spice, this one definitely has a kick between the kimchee and the jalapenos. They also threw in a free bag of chips which was nice compliment. I also got the Vietnamese coffee which has a strong flavor and is not overly sweet. Friendly & helpful staff, chill vibes makes for a quick and easy lunch. Can't wait to try the other banh mis!
I came in to grab a bahn mi sandwich! I have been craving this for days! Service was friendly and fast. Location is easy to get in and out of. Lots of seating and clean facilities! I ordered the pork belly bahn mi minus the cilantro. The sandwich was outstanding! Fresh and great blend of flavors! I'll be back!
Delicious bahn mi!!!! These sandwiches are loaded with veggies, sauce and meat. This little shop is so cute with plants and kind staff. We tried the pork belly and katsu chicken sandwiches. We loved them! Definitely will be back!!
Clean, basic, (in a good way), (with some great plants and fun art prints) little local fusion sandwich shops. The friendliest engaging staff (owner) who provides the best service. We tried the Pho Ranch Dip, which had a sign saying they were out, but the owner made me one and the roasted pork belly. Mind blowing delicious! Even the leftovers are as amazing as they were hot and fresh. The service, outstanding; we received complimentary chips while we waited for our food and a Thai Tea. The Thai tea is a refreshing palette cleanser that was so good. This was seriously one of the top sandwiches I have ever had. Excited to add this place on our rotation.

I was a little disappointed in the menu because I just wanted a classic banh mi and the only classic ones are vegetarian (lemongrass tofu and maybe breakfast but I didn't get a good look at that one). The banh mi's are massive which is a plus. I got the braised pork and it was hefty. The flavor of the pork belly was delish. I liked the pate and wished I had more (but I love pate so it's a personal preference) and there was a bit too much mayo. I was missing the jalapeños which would've been a nice touch. The iced coffee is a little off, not sure what about it is off specifically but it doesn't taste like viet coffee, as someone who is viet and started drinking this coffee before any other coffee as a teenager. Inside had several tables and everything was nice and clean.
Amazing banh mi and better people. They treat you as family whether it's your first time there or a repeat customer. The banh mi isn't overly hard on the outside yet still crispy/crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Talk about packing flavor, sauce and vegetables, you're getting it all. Stop by and you won't be disappointed.
Finally tried it out and it didn't disappoint. Service is friendly and the place is generally pretty clean. I like that the menu is small and they have photos of each option deconstructed so you know what's in each one (makes it easier when I take my friends to eat banh mi for the first time so they know what's to expect). I ordered the pho dip. At first I was like ughhh do I want to pay $14 for a banh mi but when it came out, it was loaded. There was a lot of meat with an equivalent ratio to the veggies. It was cut in half for me. The sandwich was so large that it barely fit into the pho broth. I was skeptical but the pho dip was so good. It's reminiscent of pho but at the same time, it's good enough as its own entity. Very delicious. My friend had the curry and he said it was also really tasty. The bread is softer but it's nice because it doesn't cut the roof of your mouth. This was the first of many visits.

Such a cute and cozy place! It's right next to Golden Saigon. We stopped by around 2 PM on Friday, and the service was great. The restaurant was also very clean and welcoming. We ordered the Braised Pork Belly and the Steak & Kimcheese, and oh my--they were sooo good! Both were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious but our favorite one is Steak & Kimcheese! We'll definitely be back to try some of their other sandwiches next time! read more

I can't stop! Seriously such a fantastic place ALL around. These sandwiches are nothing short of amazing, like if my last meal was gonna be a sammich this would be a top contender for sure. Also don't sleep on the desserts here! This time around was a strawberry crepe cake and it was delicious. Super thin sponge cake as the base and then layers of delicate crepe and strawberry cream with fresh strawberries and a vanilla drizzle. Perfectly sweet and light, a total winner for me. These guys know how to make every visit shine and back up the top 100 achievement! read more

Came here after landing and the food was wonderful along with great customer service. We got Thai Tea, a braised pork belly Banh mi, and a chicken Katsu banh mi and they were both delicious. Also went great with the curry sauce. The ambiance was also very pleasant especially after a long flight. I would highly recommend you check it out if you find yourself in the area read more
I was skeptical at first. I'm from a city near LA surrounded by authentic Vietnamese food. But this restaurant's creative take on banh mi was SO GOOD. The bread is perfect, the meat is packed with flavor, and the portion is gigantic. One of the best banh mis I've ever had. Plus, the owner here is super cool. He's genuine, chill, and is treating every single customer here with love. I decided to do some remote work here, and for the past hour he has just been keeping up a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Whenever I come visit Denver, I'll definitely be making some time to visit this fine establishment. read more

A friend suggested this spot and so glad they did! It's not too far from HMart (Aurora location) and they have a wide selection of bahn mi sandwiches. The team was friendly and kindly sliced our sandwiches into thirds so the three of us could each try a different sandwich. We ordered shrimp tempura, breakfast, and stake bahn Mi sandwiches and enjoyed the Thai teas as well. The food took a bit longer than expected and they were busy during the visit with many customers. There is ample parking and several tables for seating. This is a great spot to grab a meal. read more

Amazing food and amazing service. They went above and beyond. They through in a Thai tea on the house for military. Everything was unbelievably fresh. Highly recommend you try. I had the breakfast Bahn and matcha tiramisu SO GOOD!!! Literally the best Vietnamese Bahn I have had. read more

Delicious banh mi! A little pricy at $14, but at least they don't skimp on the protein. Their baguette is honestly perfect and made fresh. You can buy just the baguette but only when they aren't busy. I enjoyed their roasted pork belly more than the braised pork belly because I wanted the braised pork belly to be a little more tender but both were solid. They don't have the conventional banh mi combos like cha lua, xa xiu, thit nuong, dac biet - the closest one would probably be the roasted pork belly. However, their sandwich offerings are pretty unique and I'm sure all very yummy. I'll probably be back. read more
We absolutely adore Golden Saigon, so of course, have been meaning to try Golden Banh Mi. The staff is so nice as always. Now walking in, I was disappointed they didn't have the traditional cold cut banh mi, as this is more of a fusion place. The options they do have sound so good though. They had things like their "Pho-rench" Dip, their take on a French Dip, and a Chicken Katsu Banh Mi. With this, I saw that each Banh Mi was about $14-$15, which is pretty steep for a banh mi. We ended up getting the Roasted Pork Belly. It was a little over $15 for one. When it came, they pre-sliced it for us since we were sharing. It was absolutely loaded with everything and came with a curry sauce. It was very saucy already. I loved it, very savory. I definitely want to go back to try more, but the $15 price tag puts me off a little bit. Otherwise all delicious and great service. read more

We ordered a group order for lunch and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They had our sandwiches done at the time we agreed and they threw in chips for all of us which was so kind of them. We ordered braised pork, roasted pork, tofu, and Pho-Rench and everyone was raving about their sandwiches. I had the roasted pork and thought all of the flavors were so spot on. The braised pork ones looked massive and everyone was happy with the portions for the price. I can't wait to go back! read more

So delicious and FILLED to the brim with meat and toppings. I love Bahn Mi and I love French Dips and it's the perfect sandwich when combined. I also was given a free bag of chips while I waited for my food and thought that was very kind. read more

Very delicious fusion bhan mi restaurant. Order at the counter, pick up/serve, clean up after yourself kind of self-serving casual dining system. Cute and clean atmosphere with some plants. We tried pho-ranch dip bhan mi and breakfast bhan mi with pumpkin spice tiramasu. Such a creative fusion bhan mi sandwich are very delicious. Strongly recommend this bhan mi restaurant! read more
Bright friendly place to walk into! Husband & I shared the Pho-Ranch Dip sandwich, a yummy brisket with all kinds of yummy vegetables on a delicious roll. It's served with a dish of pho broth to dip it in. It is SO good. And it was plenty big for the two of us. Can't wait to get back for another. read more

Totally different Bahn Mi sandwich. They only use pork belly either braised of baked. Very tasty meat. House made bread and all the vegetables were fresh tasting. There are also beef options and a few others. Worth a try for sure. read more

Ah-ma-zing. No notes. Their sandwiches are perfectly balanced. The flavor is delish. Best bread ever. The flavors are so good. What I can assume is the owner is so genuine and sweet. Constantly playing nostalgic cartoons/anime with soothing house music. I think about these sandwiches everyday of my life. You're lucky I even got a picture I ate it so fast. read more
