Service here wasn't that great when me, my Boyfriend, and his family came here at 6pm to have dinner. There was slight language barrier which made it hard to ask food questions and to get a response that answered our questions. When we got our menu's a lot of the drink options and food were not available. Me and my boyfriend wanted a fruit tea and we were told they didn't have any teas etc. My boyfriend asked for a beer and he was told that they do not have any liquor. It was a little off putting since we were very limited on what we could order. However, my food was very good, I will give them that. I got a pork rice with an egg roll and I enjoyed it. Their atmosphere was a little on the flat and bland side which isn't ideal, since atmosphere is what makes a dinner outing memorable. We order some spring rolls and each a bowl of pho. It all came out very quick and piping hot. The spring rolls were wrapped tightly which I like. The peanut sauce those was watery. When you dipped the roll it dripped all over the roll making it very messy. I like thicker peanut sauce. My pho was the rare steak. They were thicker cuts of meat and a bit tough when you bite in to them but the broth was really good. Great flavor. The absolute best Pho in Denver! The broth is fantastic. Some places serve meat that taste old, you can tell when the brisket and meatball have been sitting for awhile, it starts tasting gamey. Our go to Pho place was closed for the night so we decided to check out Mr. Pho which was conveniently located down the road from where we live. It's a chilly which called for pho. The Bun Bo Hue was average, the broth wasn't as good as other places I've had it at. It wasn't as spicy and was lacking the strong lemon grass flavor you typically get. I normally don't use hoisin and Sriracha in this dish but I had to due to the lack of punch. The noodles were also on the soggier/softer side. I usually like my noodles with a little bounce especially since the noodles used in bum Bo Hue are rounder than flat. The seafood Pho was good but also lacking in saltiness and body. The vegetable egg rolls were on point tho. The wrapper was very crispy while the filling was tasty. The service was excellent and very nice. They serve quick and was a pleasant experience.
