I've never been into Pho Lang Co. However, decided to order DoorDash for lunch because it's closer to my work. I ordered a Combination Noodle Bowl. I have to say... I'm very impressed. Look... Bun Dac Biet is a very basic item at any Pho restaurant. But does that mean it's done well? Nope. First of all... the portion was generous. The egg roll was spot on... nice, even frying. I hate places that inconsistently fry their eggrolls or over fry them to the point they're dry and burnt. Not here. I also like the grilling on the meats... nice grill marks - WITHOUT over grilling. Meat had the char on the outside for flavor and smoke but still moist and flavorful meat on the inside. I also can't get over how good the bun is! A lot of places... bun is dry... or clumpy or broken to pieces, but at Pho Lang Co the bun was cooked perfectly... still held it's shape... had perfect soft chew. My only small complaint is the pork is marinaded with red food coloring or char siu. Which... It's not terribly bad, but often times that doesn't lend much to the flavor, but used more for esthetics. Not a common ingredient for Vietnamese grilling, more so Chinese style. But No big deal. I'm still going to order this again. So for my to give a 5 start on 1 dish... means I really liked my one dish. I look forward to trying other items on the menu! read more

This is a great little restaurant tucked away in a strip center with authentic Vietnamese food. The grill dinner that I got was great. It was an ample portion of noodles and vegetables, and grilled meats and eggroll. The dressing on the side was bright and vibrant and pulled everything together. It was the perfect light meal I was looking for with leftovers for the next day. The banh hoi is essentially the same dish but with woven crispy noodles as opposed to steamed noodles. They were little crisp bundles. You could dip them in sauce or use them to help scoop up your veggies and grilled meats and eat them on the side as a flavor soaking texture treat to your plate. The service staff was excellent. We were checked on throughout our meal. The Vietnamese coffee was a very nice touch where you could make it at your own table. I also really enjoyed my Boba Thai Tea. But this is the kind of food I crave whenever I want something light, but a lot of it. The vegetables were super crisp and fresh. The vermicelli noodles were cooked well. Everything was done nicely. This is not fancy or pretentious, but it is definitely down-home comfortable with great service and tasty classic Vietnamese cuisine. read more

Tried this for the first time but did DoorDash so I did not go to the location. We were craving banh mi and like that this place had a few choices of them! I got the classic pork katsu- cha lau one and my fiancé got an egg one. We also got some egg rolls to share. The egg rolls were very crispy and I like that they were mini sized compared to how I've had them before. My sandwich was stuff full of pork and filling. It was exactly what we wanted! read more

Pretty solid place to get Vietnamese food in the Denver area with good service. Stopped by after I had some free time and tried the Special Combo Pho with beef broth. Consist, delicious pho in Southeast Denver! I've been to Pho Lang probably 10 ten times over the last couple of years and it's always hit. Really friendly service and very accommodating. I always ask for no cilantro and to have my bean sprouts steamed (keeps the broth from cooling off too quickly when I add them). My favorite is the brisket pho! But all options are delicious. I also like the egg rolls with veggies. I soak my noodles and egg rolls in the sauce for a bit before wrapping it all up in the lettuce with the carrots and cucumbers. Came here based on other reviews. First off, the food. It's good. I got the pho, and the broth was flavorful. The amount of noodles, veggies, and proteins was more than plenty. The atmosphere is a typical pho restaurant. It's clean with a simple and easy menu. You pay at the register, so don't expect any checks once you're done. The service was great, too. Flew back into Denver and was craving pho, wanting to try a new spot I chose Pho lang Co, and it was the right choice! I can safely say this week be in my rotation of Vietnamese restaurants. I'm typically a Bun bo hue type of guy, but if course you have to judge by how well they make the iconic Pho broth. Their pho gets a solid 5 out of 5. The broth without any toppings is umami and has a strong beef flavor. A lot of places lack either salt or just a strong beef bone flavor. You know it's a good broth if you don't have to add any hoisin or Sriracha. I added meatballs and rare beef to mine and it was tasty! Add the fresh herbs, pepper, and lime and it's one of the best in the area! The shrimp spring rolls are a solid 4.5 out of 5. Decent size, but on the more expensive side. The peanut sauce is amazing and the shrimps are plump. It was the perfect pairing for my pho. In the end, it was a great dinner, especially take out. I'll be dining next time and have it super fresh! But in the meantime support them and don't hesitate with take out! read more

With the cold weather recently, I've been craving pho. This place is pretty close to me so it was a no brainer to check it out. I've ordered pickup a few times and it has yet to disappoint! The spicy broth is so flavorful and the steak is tender. The service I've received has always been top notch. The workers are always so friendly and give me instructions on how best to heat the broth. I'd love to dine in one day because they have a full service bar and it seems like a laid back atmosphere. I've eaten at Pho Lang a few times when in the area. I've only had pho, but have found the versions I've tried to be very good. The last time I was in I had the veggie pho with the veg broth and found it to be surprisingly tasty! I've found the service to be friendly and efficient and the restaurant to be clean. It's a fairly large place with plenty of seating but with minimal decor. When I first started this review, I was going to comment that this is a standard Vietnamese restaurant with your standard menu items of pho, rice plates, noodle bowls, spring rolls, etc. I really haven't made much of an effort to eat here too often since I can find all that stuff closer to home. However. I pulled up their online menu and was surprised to see some things that are either new to the menu or that I just didn't notice before. For example, the salads: "choice of shredded chicken, shrimp n' pork, shrimp or pork with fresh cabbage, refreshing mint or basil, crushed peanuts, tasty homemade sauce, dried shallot and shrimp crackers on the side". Their online menu shows thirteen options for the proteins, some include banana flower! I don't think I've ever seen that on a menu. Another example, Banh Hoi: "made from very thin rice vermicelli noodles woven into bundles, served with grilled meats (beef, pork, chicken, or shrimp), fresh herbs, and a homemade sauce, garnished with oiled scallion and fried shallots". I like pho, rice plates, and noodle bowls but there's so much more to Vietnamese food. I'll be in the area again soon and am excited to try one of the two 'new' dishes I noted. Ordered takeout from here and my order came out so fast and packaged with lots of care in a box to prevent from broth being spilled on the ride home. I ordered a vegetable broth with chicken and while the serving size was great, the veggie broth itself was mediocre. I saw the menu that they have banh mi and had great reviews. I got banh mi with beef and cafe sua da. I took my first bite and it was so dry and flavorless. There was no soy sauce or maggi and no french butter or no mayo. The meat was tough like leather. I had soy sauce at work but no butter but it did make it easy to swallow. With the sot sauce, it still didn't make it taste better. It was the worse banh mi that I have ever tasted. I was so disappointed!! Not interested to try their other dishes at this place. A very consistent Vietnamese restaurant. I almost exclusively get it delivered, but the dining room is clean and serviceable. I enjoy their pho, although they do add some non-traditional veggies just fyi. I love their cha gio and nuoc cham. I'm also a fan of their bun bowls and mixed grill platter (for more people). Been here a couple times now first time we had spring rolls and rare beef pho spicy. It was delicious. Staff was great very courteous refilled our waters multiple times. Pricing was great. This is my favorite Pho place. I am very particular with my Vietnamese food and Pho Lang Co is always on my list. Their broth is not oily but full of flavor, their spring rolls are always a great healthy portion and to top it off, the people there are always so nice. I have only had the chicken banh mi sandwich and the egg rolls (always plus veggie) and both are AMAZING. After getting pregnant and not being able to eat typical deli sandwiches, I CRAVED a sandwich. Banh mi to the rescue! Pro tip- we've always ordered through an outside platform, but last time we went and picked up the food, the gentleman at the restaurant said it's actually less expensive to order straight through their website. I first noticed this place mostly because of the stellar reviews and it's location in the east side of town. Quality pho without a having to always make the drive to Federal? I'm down. I came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and ordered the egg rolls and a medium pho with meatballs and rare steak. Prices are reasonable ($8.95 for a medium pho, and their large has $1 more and is HUGE), and they have a darker, clear broth that is exactly like the one at Pho Duy. I definitely will stop by here for this style of pho. Egg rolls were amazing! Freshly fried and served with fish sauce. My only complaint would be that they are a bit small compared to other egg roles I've had in Denver and are sold by the half. Service was fast and more attentive than other pho restaurants I've been to, with the server checking in multiple times over the course of the meal. Extra bonus: compostable bamboo straws are used in their drinks. read more
