The outside was a little sketch at first. I am not from the area, so I quickly realized this is the norm for local places to eat. When I walked in, I noticed the greenery they had all over the place (I'm a sucker for plants). It was very, very cold outside the day I came for a visit, so I was craving some good soup. Tonight I tried the lamb curry and it didn't disappoint. All of our entrees had so many fresh vegetables that were cooked perfectly and lots of lamb/shrimp/beef (depending on what we ordered). And the portions are large. The restaurant is always clean and when the Littles come with us they love to watch the fish in the aquarium. Family takeout order with a large shrimp pho, large tai lean steak pho, beef chow fun, BUN grilled shrimp with rice noodles, we got comped crab Rangoon which were so yummy and an extra order of the largest fresh spring rolls I have ever eaten. I had to split the spring roll because they were so large. The only suggestion was that the beef close fun should have had more "wok hai" more fried wok flavor vs sautéed. We took a little break from them when we moved further away, but we're back in Aurora and they will see our faces more. Any time we are in, they treat us so well! The parking lot can be a little crowded but theres usually a spot somewhere. Their food is fantastic! The Sesame tofu is so good and they have the best in all of Denver. Mama Le's curry is another standout that is savory and warm. It's a vietnamese curry so it has a slight sweet taste and reminds me of my family's home cooking. Their wings are pretty good as well! One time, their special of the day was Bo Kho, which is my favorite vietnamese soup, behind Pho, but Pho transcends labels. Their Bo Kho was perfect; slightly greasy and very hearty paired with a crispy loaf of Banh Mi. Their homemade ginger beer is also delicious! I'm salivating just writing this. I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant but was pleasantly surprised! Ambience at this restaurant is definitely unique - kind of dark, steakhouse vibes. I appreciated the well-cared for orchid that was at my table. I ordered the spicy beef in the medium size ($16.95), which the server kindly explained was similar to Bun Bo Hue (but was not made traditionally with all the pork fixings). It took quite a while to get my order, maybe around 30 minutes. Servers were really apologetic about the wait and continuously came by to check up on me and brought out complimentary ginger ale and chicken dumplings. Service is one of the best I have experienced, especially for an Asian restaurant. The spicy beef was different from what I am used to, but it was delicious nonetheless. It had a good amount of spice and shredded cabbage. The lemongrass flavor was prominent; my only suggestion might be straining the broth prior to serving because I had to keep picking out fibrous pieces of lemongrass that were inedible. I am a creature of habit and tend to lean towards more authentic preparations of Vietnamese food, but I would recommend this restaurant for folks who are a bit more open-minded and adventurous eaters. read more

This place is hidden pretty well but we came across it, visiting that area. I had the pho but I forgot to take pictures. It was good but it was missing the bean sprouts, and peppers you get at other restaurants. Regardless, it was still pretty good. My wife had the Mongolian beef and she enjoyed it, after taking some of my pho. My son's really like the chicken. Had dinner here before heading to the airport. Lovely ambiance with lights and greenery. We arrived & were seated right before the dinner rush. We saw the restaurant quickly fill up and noticed people also waiting outside to be seated. Employees are welcoming & friendly, providing great service. We shared a variety of appetizers, including the grilled mussels. I had the grilled pork rice noodle bowl; my husband opted for the pho with rare steak, and my daughter chose the spicy beef noodle soup (meat was tender and the broth was rich with a medium spice). I didn't get to try their homemade ginger ale, but my husband and daughter said it was good. Portions are large and definitely enough for sharing. They cut the steak in their Pho Tai into smaller strips, so I was skeptical that there wouldn't be that much meat in my bowl, but oh my gosh was I wrong. So much meat in my bowl. They also treated me to a free appetizer- fried chicken dumplings. They were delicious, and served over a curry sauce that was so yummy. I didn't even use the dipping sauce. I have been on a pho kick and decided to try a new spot while we were in the area. Golden Saigon did not disappoint. I loved the interior, the plants are so cute! We were seated right away and were given a sling to put our baby's car seat in. We ordered the spring rolls with pork as well as the egg rolls. Both were tasty! They gave us potstickers with a curry sauce and crab and cream cheese wontons on the house. Those were so yummy! Definitely get the potstickers if you can! For our entrees we ordered their combination pho. The broth was a little on the bland side in my opinion but the meats they add make up for it! The brisket is cut thick and it's so flavor.
