The food was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of our visit! Unfortunately, the lemonade was a bit disappointing--it didn't taste fresh and was just average. We ended the meal with the flan, which I'd rate a 6/10. It was okay, but not something I'd order again. On a positive note, the restaurant was very clean, especially the bathrooms, and there was plenty of seating. Our server was wonderful--patient, friendly, and took the time to walk us through the menu since it was our first time dining there. The excellent service made for a great overall experience! read more

I was feeling under the weather and just wanted some Vietnamese comfort so was looking for a restaurant who had Chao (Vietnamese porridge). This restaurant had it and few options. I got the chicken chao with a side of eggroll versus the whole appetizer which looked like a whole meal! I did use a delivery service so did not see the location. I got a good serving size of soup with I had some for dinner and lunch the next day. The side of egg roll was perfect. I liked the crispiness of the eggroll. The soup was exactly what I wanted. It had some chopped ginger in it which was different than how my mom has made it for me but figured that was a good thing to help cure my cold! It did come with a bag of toppings of green onions and fried onions if you want to add more flavor. Glad I found this place! read more

Decided to have a sit down lunch at the Mid Autumn Festival. Selected the Salt & Pepper Shrimp Sauteed w/ Garlic & Butter (Tôm Rang Muối) with white rice. The server told me it's a large serving so I chose not to order an appetizer. Got them shell on Viet style. They were large shrimp. Tasty. Not as salty and I liked the texture in the shrimp head. Took half to go as I wanted to eat more items from the food stalls at the festival. Servers were professional. Good lunch. Clean restrooms. read more

We have been coming to Saigon Bowl for years. They always have good food and service. Com Dac Biet, cha gio, and pho are our go to's.

Went there for lunch. Ordered spring rolls and 90% of it was lettuce! Hardly any rice noodles in it. When I told our waiter, he didn't seem to care and didn't bother offering to remake it. Then came the bill. The prices on the receipt did not match what was "written" on the menu. They have a note dated from over 4 years ago (March 1, 2022) claiming "small" price increase. It's been over 4 years and you can't update your prices?! So everything is a guess on what your bill will be? Every item on my bill was $2 more than what was posted on the menu. Lunch for 2 people cost me $63 (After tip). Absolutely ridiculous. We had 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 iced coffee. We won't be eating here again. Service is poor and food was mediocre at best. read more

I had a disappointing experience at Saigon Bowl. The service was very slow, and the staff did not seem very attentive or welcoming. We had to wait a long time to get our food, and it felt like our table was being overlooked. When we tried to get someone's attention, it was difficult to get any help. The food was okay, but the poor service really took away from the experience. I expected better customer service and probably would not return based on this visit read more

although i've never been to any asian countries, the food here seemed really authentic. my veggie spring rolls and rice noodle bowl were super fresh. the grilled shrimp in my noodle bowl was fabulous: really tasty and easy to eat. i do think, however, that there could've been more tofu in the spring rolls. this is a great place to eat solo. the servers are attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is spacious, with plenty of booths and tables. my only other caveat is that the menu may be a little too big/long. i counted more than ten pages, and it took me a while to choose my meal. however, for families with picky eaters, the wide selection of items is a plus. read more

This is a solid spot for Vietnamese cuisine with a large, varied menu. Prices are reasonable, especially considering today's economy. We tried the pho, which was decent--the broth could've used a bit more depth, but they did serve it with plenty of fresh herbs and bean sprouts. We also had a flavorful duck entrée with mushrooms and veggies. The flavors were great, though the duck itself was a bit on the lean side. read more

This is hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've been to--not just in Denver, but anywhere! And I have the glowing praise from my Vietnamese mom to back that up! We tried two different types of bánh canh (Vietnamese "udon" noodle soup), and both broths were incredibly rich and flavorful. My mom had the roasted duck noodle soup, and she couldn't stop raving about it--from the perfectly cooked duck to the depth of the broth. She's a tough critic, so that says a lot! My sister and mom also got durian and soursop smoothies, respectively, and both were big fans of their drinks! The herb plate was generous, to say the least. We actually had to ask the server to take some away because there was no way we could finish it all. But beyond the quantity, the quality was on point--10/10. I didn't spot a single brown leaf or any imperfections. Everything was fresh and vibrant. As for the service, it was equally top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel like we were part of their family the whole time we were there. My mom's already planning a family outing here to try even more dishes from their extensive menu. Can't wait to come back! read more

The Vietnamese food here is so authentic like my mom's home cooking, that I was craving while visiting Colorado! The Guo Cuon was enough to feed our table of 8, they brought out 3 full bags of rice paper, and we had almost a full bag to take home. The pork and crab was SO good! The salads were SO good, we ordered the pork, shrimp, and seafood one that had squid! Everything was so yummy but the jellyfish on top was quite salty. The mussels were so good, I'd recommend not adding the extra salt and pepper, just the leaf that comes with. We also ordered the bun Bo hue, the spicy beef noodle, but it wasn't up to my standard. The broth was not spicy and the noodles were too soft. The bun lemongrass, the noodle bowl, had an overwhelming amount of noodles. It was ok at best. The beef was good but not what I expected. We also ordered flat noodles, which was fried and stir fried again, very crispy and soft at the same time. I have never had it like that, but it was good. The veggies and meat on top soften the noodles. The Com Dac Biet, the rice dish with the pork, chicken and beef with veggies and egg, was good. Exactly what you'd expect. The pork was the best! Overall, such a good spot to try so much food! The service was good, with a large party. The food came out quick. The ambience was good, not modern but had large TVs. The waiter turned on the soccer game for visitors who asked for it. There is also a large VIP room with karaoke in the back! I'd definitely come back when I visit again! read more

This place is so freaking good! My bf and I each got what we always do at Vietnamese restaurants- a combination bun bowl for me and pho with rare steak and brisket for him. Mine was so flavorful and had the cucumbers with the serrated edges which I love! They gave me plenty of fish sauce and it was perfect. The noodles seemed like a different kind than the traditional vermicelli but it didn't affect the flavor or experience at all- just an observation. The pork was super fatty so I could t each much of it- that is the picture of the pho spoon with meat bits in it, to show how much fat I tore off. A note about the pho spoons in general: they don't have the curve at the top end to be able to lean it on the side of the bowl so my bf's spoon kept falling in his pho. He said the broth was really good, not too salty and very umami. He said he got better the more he ate as well. Service was good but what really took it a step above was that they boxed my leftovers for me. That's never an expectation but definitely a bonus. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend. read more

Quick service. Ordered a pork grilled noodle bowl. The pork was tender but didn't have that grilled texture and flavor. Decent portion for the price. Felt like they were in a hurry for us to leave. Brought over the check before we were done eating. read more

This was disappointing at best. The meat portions were so small and the brisket was mostly fat. The noodles were so hard they looked like they were a day or two old. We had to reheat the broth twice to even get it warm enough to make the raw steak edible. Highly Do Not Recommend. The Boba was ok, but again for the portion, very disappointing. Find another place for pho for sure. read more

We've been coming here several times a year for at least the last 15 years. We typically order #160, which is "Our Famous Combo Appetizer with Grilled Shrimps, Soft-shelled Crab, Pork, Chicken, Fried Shrimp Paste & Egg Roll Rice Paper Wrap." Price has crept up to $44 now, but it is still a huge platter of food that five of us (ok 2 are youths of 10 and 13 years) could barely finish. Drinks (all non alcoholic) were surprisingly expensive and five of them cost nearly as much as the #160. Despite some reservations about the cost, I will say the quality has been maintained every time we've eaten here over the last 15 years. read more

Delicious Vietnamese food. Didn't a delivery from here with the spring rolls ( great, nothing out of the ordinary but good). Favorite is the rice plate with pork chop, egg rolls, chicken and pork combination. Wow, the pork chop is the star of the dish. The other meats are good but the pork chop stands out. So much food (always have left overs). Feel like the value for price is great. read more

We really enjoyed getting Vietnamese food from Saigon Bowl. Our favorite dish was the papaya salad. We came to try the bun Bo hue but left loving the papaya salad the best. Great spice to each dish! We also really enjoyed the coconut juice/water with the coconut flesh inside! We are from Hawaii so it reminds us of home. Would get 5 stars if they had better flavor of the bun Bo hue and better service. The service was good enough but not as friendly as we would have hoped. Either way still worth a visit! read more

GARBAGE FOOD, FLAVOR AND SERVICE. SUGGEST NEVER DINING AT SAIGON BOWL UNTIL OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR DECLINE AND IMPLEMENT CHANGES. Three orders of pho uneaten (other food as well, sparsely eaten): noodles frozen and gooped together, broth clearly lukewarm, before the noodles, and room temperature after the noodles, strong flavor of sugar and salt and funky flavors not usually noticeable in pho soup, weird yellow-tinged brisket and chewy grey beef, specks of remnant food from prior patrons on the bowls and drinking cups, and completely absent waiters until the end of the meal, when one asked if everything was okay, and if we would like to take our food home. "No thank you. The food was horrible." PAUSE "I'm sorry. I work here. The food was prepared the same way everyday. Would you like your check?" This place is bad. read more

Everything here was absolutely delicious. I always look for Vietnamese restaurants that don't just do pho -- but also hot pot and Bun no Hue and DIY spring roll platters and other authentic Vietnamese dishes. This place has it all. Loved the bun bo hue broth -- and asked for some Thai chilis to make it super spicy, which served quickly obliged. Only thing was that I asked for no cilantro, and they didn't listen. But I just scooped it out. read more

Saigon Bowl is the place to go to for cheap and tasty Vietnamese food. The menu pretty much has everything on there: rice, noodle, pho, soup, salad, beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, fish, seafood, vegetarian, etc. Unless it is a really obscure Vietnamese dish, the chances are high that you can find whatever you are thinking of on the menu. My boyfriend and I have been to Saigon Bowl twice. I have tried the pho (beef noodle soup) and the banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe). He has stuck with the com dac biet (combo rice plate). The pho was good. The banh xeo was okay. I got to try some of the rice plate, and the meats on there were all tasty. The portions are big but not too crazy. Both times, we left really full but not too stuffed. With so many choices on the menu, it is tough to make a decision on what to order. The easy decision though is picking Saigon Bowl as a meal option that gives you your bang for your buck. read more

Places like this are treasures and stay true form with their flavors. The menu is vast and we had to narrow down to a few items but I'm excited to come back and try the entire menu. First dish was the salt and pepper calamari. Dusted with salt and white pepper in a corn and rice flour coating, these morsels were great accompanied by a spicy dipping sauce. The crunch was ethereal. Next was partners bun that had proper imperial rolls. The big difference for this dish was the property fried imperial rolls. They were crispy and has the tapioca flour coating. The side of deep fried prawns was great. Lastly the pho was excellent. Salty, sweet, piquant and sour combine to make the one dish meal outstanding. Service is great and quick. So happy to patronize then during this trying time. read more

For 36$ you get 4 entrees and rice, something to try if you don't want pho. we got the shrimp and pork salad, soup with shrimp, lemon grass chicken, and braised pork belly. The lemongrass chicken was soooo spicy. I haven't had something that spicy in a long time! It was very flavorful though! We loved the pork belly, savory and sweet at the same time, loved that it came in a stone pot. The soup was kept boiling. It was sour and sweet at the same time we got it with shrimp The shrimp and pork salad deft had a kick. They give you a good amount of shrimp and pork! For a side we got steamed clams! Hands down they were the best thing! You get 9 calms, they were covered in delicious garlic sauce. I love Saigon bowl and there other entrees besides pho read more

I have regularly come to Saigon bowl for four years. Today I ordered a takeout chicken noodle bowl. Unfortunately, it was given to me with raw chicken in it. When I called for replacement they were short, but eventually offered to replace it. But when I came in to get my new food I was immediately suspected of trying to steal from the business and told that if I did not bring in the meal with the raw meat that they would not replace it. After some arguing they finally replaced it, but then said don't come back here without the meal because we don't know if you're telling the truth or not. I even showed them a picture! No apology. No refund. No attempt to even make it right. Save yourself the trouble and go to Viet's. read more

I can't help but to wonder why it took me over 20 years to comeback to this establishment. I remember as a teenager this was the go to spot for good Vietnamese food and a great hangout spot back in my days. As the weather gets cooler in Denver, I was in the mood for a good noodle soup. I've ordered the banh can Tom (crab meat and shrimp noodle soup) and it's a game changer. If you're wanting to try something different from pho this is it! The soup is thicker, the noodles are thicker, and it's more of a hearty soup. Definitely hit the spot and for the price of $16, it was definitely worth it! read more

Large pho.. when it came. We were really surprised .. wowww look at that humongous bowl!! What we normally eat as large .. here is called medium. Big is about 1.4x medium sized. Tons of meat but they are rather chewy. 3/5 Egg noodle soup with duck and wontons. The wontons ... average we've had much better elsewhere. Wontons have no shrimp in them. 3/5 Both soup .. I can't detect MSG in them, but broth are rather sweet ... did they sprinkle sugar in them? Broth for wonton noodle and pho were different in taste. But both a bit sweet. The star of the meal was the grilled pork pieces (not pork chop) .. generous amount of meat, it was smoky (which is hard to get), perfectly seasoned, delectably charred. And sliced thinly. 5/5 Durian boba 5/5 on point.. you can detect the strong durian smell which is a must and it wasn't too sweet. Now service was lacking .. hubby had to get his own paper napkins. Nobody refilled our water and asked how we were doing. But they gave us cloth napkins .. it's just that we are so used to having paper napkins that we felt we needed it read more
