Came here for a late bite and it didn't disappoint. The Samosas were delicious and perfect to start with. We also had the Sii Cheh Kao Sweh and the Ono Kao Swe. The flavors were great, though the Level 3 spice on the Ono Kao Swe was a bit mild for us--we'll definitely go for a higher spice level next time! Quick service and good food.

First time going to The Mango House. Brilliant use of space we opted to try Urban Burma. The food stall is small and the staff seemed nice. Our selections were the Shan Noodles which was a flavorful bowl with generous amount of noodles, would totally order again. Next we tasted the sampler which was a tea leaf salad, chicken curry and a delicious samosas. Totally would order again. Only complaint is we didn't request spicy.

Buckle up your taste buds, friends. Urban Burma is NOT here to play. This is one of several food stalls within Mango House, a community center for ethnic minorities and refugees. The seating area is shared, and you'll see little hints of cultural flair near each stall. The menu is short but captures most of the Burmese top hits that you'll see this side of the Pacific (notably missing, mohinga, as well as ginger salad). One of the co-owners, Siri, was manning the front and was elated to be serving a fellow Burmese person (my boyfriend). After ordering and debating the pros/cons of various famous Burmese restaurants in other parts of the country (a certain Superstar in the Bay Area), he sat us down with some water cups and went back to take care of the growing dinner line. The water cups are small and you'll have to refill yourself at the water station, but that's about the only downside of eating here. We shared the Tea Leaf Salad, Ono Kao Sweh, and their special curry of the day, a Braised Pork Curry. Siri himself came out to deliver each dish as it was prepared, each one neatly portioned out on elegant serving-ware that contrasts with the otherwise rather sparse decor in Mango House. The Ono Kao Sweh was sublime - wonderfully thick and brothy with a hint of lime and coconut. If you've never had Tea Leaf Salad, I envy you for getting to experience the mouth-feel of its textures and tastes for the first time. It hits, in all the right ways. The Pork Curry was rich and salty, maybe too salty for me, but comforting in the ways that only aunties and uncles can perfect. My belly can't wait to experience Urban Burma again.

This was my first time trying Burmese food, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the golden triangle tofu ($10), tea leaf salad ($12), and Shan noodles ($14). The tofu was so crispy and flaky and delicious when dipped in the tamarind sauce. The tea leaf salad was fermented and unique, very addictive! It was a bit salty, but it was refreshing and balanced my meal well. Shan noodles felt like your typical Asian noodle soup, tasty but did not seem super new and different. The worker was really kind and explained the menu well. This restaurant is located in a food hall, and I can imagine the parking situation being a bit challenging during peak business hours. This is not in the best part of town, but definitely worth stopping by to give this place a try!!

Urban Burma really showed us delicious Burmese food. I was a little unfamiliar with it, but was excited to try. Located in Mango House, it has a lot of options of various dishes. We ordered the Tea Leaf Salad (a must!) and the Nan Gyi Dok. The tea lead salad was delicious and refreshing. One of my favorite styles of salad. It resembled a slaw in looks with a crunchy bite. The Nan Gyi Dok is such an interesting noodle dish. These noodles were so soft and juicy. Like I've never had anything like it. The color was similar to a curry sauce and the taste was savory. This place is a must try! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!

Amazing food with such a friendly owner!! From the minute we walked up, the owner greeted us and explained the food and asked where we were from. We ordered the Ono Kao Sweh (soup dish) and Nan Gyi Dok (no soup). Both were noodles (one with soup and one dry) and they were soooo delicious!!! Highly highly recommend!!! The ambiance is very welcoming and family oriented (saw lots of kids running around and there is a mini playground for them too). There is plenty of seating with a nice big window to look outside. Parking is plenty in the back. We definitely will come back the next time we visit Denver!

Bad food, terrible service & crap atmosphere ‍. Was so excited to try this place based on the (most likely fake) reviews with my young kids ..... ABSOLUTE MISTAKE!! Where do I begin?! Ordered 2 meals for the 3 of us with a side of fried rice Togo.... 45 mins later the food arrived, we immediately asked the obvious (extra plates to properly share please), then waited to ask for basic soy sauce & the samosa sauce (never delivered) another 15 minutes until we gave up. Ate what we could bc we had been super hungry for an hour at this point. Good?! Samosas were great!! And salad was good!..... rice was old mush, after 45mins the chicken was dry and flavorless, the curry was clearly reheated (don't lie to me, I know food). What was meant to be extra for lunch the next day I wanted nothing to do with.... Better off blending it and donating to those with no teeth ‍....... No, we did NOT take anything with us They ask for payment & tip before your order for a reason ‍. As I was leaving, the server asked how it was, I was very honest but polite..... he didn't have a care in the world..... What a shame!!!! Had he done his job and offered a second chance (I probably would have said no anyway bc it was so bad)... this review would be much better for the service part and updated for the food quality if it was a "one time issue".... But NO!!! BAD FOOD, SERVICE & AMBIANCE . Never tried to this point to make the situation better sadly.. STOP WITH THE FAKE REVIEWS AND DO BETTER IN EVERY AREA!!!!

Love the noodle soups! Counter service in Mango House. The entrance is in the back and there's a small parking lot or street parking

Traveling to the area and we're so excited to find this gem. We have food sensitivities so their vegan And gf options were appreciated. The tea leaf salad is a must. A hit with everyone. The fried tofu was incredible. I also had the ginger spritzer and was so glad for that splurge. A bit hard to find until you realize it is inside Mango House. That was also a gem. Would go back again.

Hadn't really tried Burmese food outside of California and was really looking forward to my experience here while visiting Denver. The menu was similar to the one back home and I chose a couple of items that I knew were veggie. The tea leaf salad was well made and the flavors were spot on. I had asked for my samosa soup to be made hot, and it too was very delicious. I really appreciated how they used red garbanzo beans as opposed to white in the soup, this is what really makes it authentic, and was absolutely one of my favorite ingredients overall. Would definitely return here if I were in town again. Humble staff too :)

Oh my goodness! Tea leaf salad is amazing!!! This is a family owned tiny restaurant in an unassuming part of Aurora with some of the best food I have ever eaten. The owner is a sweet heart and super talented in the kitchen. He will explain all about Burmese cuisine and the inspiration for each dish. This is a must try! Then tell your friends. Make this the most popular take out in Denver. This place deserves it.

Stumbled upon this place by accident. What a great find! The Tea leaf salad was freshly made and the beans were super crispy and the tea leaves were flavorful. We also tried the pork Neely curry which was the special of the day- served with Jasmine rice. Owner was super nice and we had a great meal!

Give them both a raise. The AYCE soup dumplings are delicious, sake options are fantastic, will be going back mainly for Colin and Jen but to also try some of their regular menu food and cocktails! Also let it be known that a service charge is set so that the restaurant can legally take some of that money/so they don't charge as much for the food. The servers only see about 40% of that service charge so to all the people complaining, you actually WILDLY under tipped your server :)

We ordered General Cho's dumplings (4 dumplings) and shrimp pad Thai, and the total was $38.70 . There is a 20% service fee which doesn't feel great when you're getting takeout and not actually being served. Anyway, high prices aside, the food was just ok. The dumplings were good, and the pad Thai was not what we were expecting. There was essentially no peanut flavor, and tasted more like pad see ew. There was one strong flavor, and no room for any of the other flavors (like the shrimp, noodle, or veg) to come through, even after squeezing the lime. Glad to have a locally owned restaurant in the neighborhood, but wasn't impressed and likely will not return.

It can be a challenge to find a parking spot due to the popularity of this area. It is worth it though. My husband brought me and our daughter here for dinner. She ordered their Original Tonkotsu Ramen which had sliced chashu pork belly, bok choy, bamboo, bean sprouts, green onions, fishcake, red ginger and a marinated egg in pork bone broth. She was very happy with her selection. She had enough left over to have it for lunch the next day. My husband chose the Spicy Tantanmen Ramen, a combination of spicy garlic ground pork, bok choy, bamboo, bean sprouts, green onions, fishcake, fried onions, shredded Japanese red chili pepper, and marinated egg in pork bone broth. He did not have any left to take home. I was feeling like noodles, so I chose the Yaki Udon and I added chicken. The Udon was stir fried with cabbage, carrots, scallions and onions. Delicious. I too, did not have anything to bring home as I ate every bite. A fun aspect is the food is delivered to the table by a cute robot with a kitty face. It plays a tune as it moves about the room. After finally making it out with my friends during my travels to Denver, I can definitely see why it was reviewed well enough to make it. The Banh Mi sold here aren't the typical Banh Mis you would find in Viet shops because they put their own twist on these traditional sandwiches. They have really unique options & a good variety of meat choices. It seems to have some French/Japanese/Korean influences woven into these creations. The menu in-store also offers detailed photos of whats inside as to help you make your very difficult decision on what to get. I personally got to try PHO-FRENCH DIP which features beef brisket. Upon first bite, it was delicious! The brisket is plenty. The hoisin & sriracha sauce paired with it all. The veggies appeared fresh & crunchy. The bread was fully baked in-store. Since it's a tribute to the french dip, they had their own rich pho broth type soup to dip it in which complemented the sandwich well. The dip was good enough to kinda drink as well. Overall, I felt the food offered here is great - you can't go wrong with any decision. My friends and I said that we were all impressed & would like to come back again if possible. I too would want to come back to try their braised pork belly next time because that looked good!
