Spicy Mala XLB (7 pcs)
Lily P.

Solid xiao long bao (Chinese soup dumplings). I came for a visit with a friend and shared 1 serving of spicy mala XLB and 2 servings of regular pork XLB, and they were all good. The restaurant is tucked in a small plaza with lots of parking available. At the time we visited, there were plenty of available seats, so any walk-ins would be easy to accommodate. There is also a clean restroom available for customers.

Delicious food that reminds me of my Taiwanese mother's cooking- especially the beef noodle soup- the baos have pickled veg and a drizzle of hoisin for sweetness. Ambiance is super casual and comfy and service is fast and friendly!

This was our first dumpling restaurant and we sampled way more than our stomachs could hold. The soup dumplings were quite interesting. We never knew soup could be in a dumpling. We loved the spicy dumplings and chicken dumplings. We will come again. Thank you!

Beijing Duck Bao - A bit heavy on the hoisin sauce but still a great balance of flavors and textures

What a solid experience and this only warrants another trip in the near future. I saw beef noodle soup which is usually my default but I saw a ton of dumplings so I gravitated towards a pork dumpling instead and the Beijing Duck Bao. Both dishes reminded me of the night markets in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The flavors certainly danced on my tastebuds and I heard angels warming up to sing. I keep telling myself I need to return. Service is far better than many Asian establishments and the small cafe/deli vibe with music is very much appreciated. Will be returning soon to see what the beef noodle soup offers. What a treat! I'll be back!

Great atmosphere and service. The staff is very kind, helpful, and patient. Unfortunately, the food is good but nothing more. The ramen is alright. It's a nice cozy and warm meal on a cold day, but it lacks in some flavor. As dumplings fans, my family came in here with high expectations, but the dumplings were very similar to the ramen in quality: once again, not bad at all, but nothing to write home about.

Pork XLB (7 pcs)

service was quick, granted we were the only ones there then someone else stopped by shortly after. pork soup dumplings were good! spicy shrimp wontons were not bad. very chill dim sum restaurant.

Casual counter service dumpling place. This is my favorite spot for traditional dumplings. Come here for the freshly steamed, delicious xiao long bao and dumplings! Love that the shiu mai have a whole shrimp on top. They also have other Chinese appetizers and dishes.

Was craving for some soup and XLB on our way to the airport to catch our flight and happened to bump into this mom and pop dumpling house. And I'm thankful we did coz this was as delicious as some of the best dumpling places we've been to. 1. Pork XLB - 7 pcs for about $11. Loved the simplicity of its flavor plus good amount of broth and fat from it. 2. Beef braised noodle - felt so homey delicious. The herbs esp five spice was not overpowering. It was so delicious esp on a 18 degree weather. And my goodness, there was lots of tender braised beef they put in so you will be fully filled and satisfied. 3. Spicy pork and shrimp dumplings - very good and loved the sesame flavor. Very yummy! 4. Pork belly bao - 2 HUGE pcs per order. It was also a knockout! Good belly portions and it was melt in your mouth. Loved the addition of pickled carrots, jicama and cilantro. Well balanced flavor! So glad to bump into this place and hopefully when I'm back here in Denver, I can come and visit again and try their other offerings.

This is a new dumpling spot in the Denver area that specializes in soup dumplings. It's located in a plaza with fitness equipment so you might miss the location. It is small but there's plenty of seating. It's clean and bright and feels very open. The staff is super friendly. There's a self serving water station. It's a small menu so less decisions. The soup dumplings and the duck bao bun were my favorites. The soup dumpling was very tasty and when you bite into it, soup does come out. The shrimp dumpling is their version of a hao gao from dimsum and it was surprisingly tasty. The dumpling skin was in tact. The chicken dumplings were just okay so I would personally pass on them.

Nice clean restaurant, right next to DQ. I believe this used to be a Chinese restaurant but no resemblances of the past. The owner greeted us and set us at the table with the menu. Since it was the first time, I didn't know what the process was. There was a big sign at the counter that says "order here" so I just walked up and she took the order. Menu wise, a lot of the dishes had pork in it which we couldn't have. Ended up ordering Spicy Chicken Wontons, which was too spicy to the point I was coughing uncontrollably for a few minutes. This dish reminded me of chicken meatball wrapped with wonton skin. Quite dry and maybe the reason why there were so many dishes with pork in it. The Crystal Shrimp was as expected but smaller than Har Gow from the Star Kitchen. I'm assuming all of the dumplings are made fresh in the back room behind the noren. Next visit, I will definitely try South Style Garden Delight and Chicken Wonton Soup, something less spicy.

Wanted a warming snack for dinner last night. So decided to try this gem on my hit list. This place is a true hole In the wall serving some deliciously good food! Everything here was 10/10 Service was quick and joyful. We got the wonton dish that came out first. It was phenomenal, the broth was full flavored with a spice to it that had me licking the bowl. Then the soup dumplings and chicken dumplings. Soup dumplings were some of the best I've had in town. Dynamic flavor that reminded me of the soup dumplings in LA. The chicken dumplings were spectacular as well. Probably the most protein in a dumpling I've had here as well. Composition of the dumplings were perfect along with the texture. Next time trying their noodles and other dishes. Must try!!

This place was awesome. I got the shrimp chive dumpling and then the chicken one. The shrimp chive was my favorite it had great flavors. The chicken was good but was mild in flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more

The thought of some delicious sides that would nicely accompany the steamed rice I had at home sounded good to me so I wasted no time to stop here yesterday afternoon and got me my favorite, South Style Garden Delight. I also wanted to try something new so I got Five Spice Beef Shank to go along with it. This place is always clean. Like he last time, it was spotless. Service was good as well. The lady who took my order and some other lady who handed me my to-go order were pleasant to me. They both had nice smile on their faces. At home, I started to savor my food in the early evening. Garden Delight was, as usual, so delicious; this never disappoints me. And the new discovery, Beef Shank is now my favorite. It's got some kick in it but the spiciness is easily handled. The cilantro sprinkled over the beef simply did the magic to enhance it. This is a well-seasoned dish to say the most least. I have to try their noodles next time. I feel like I keep saying that (lol) but will do it next time for sure!

Sweetgreen's clean ingredients are what I can count on. When I was going about my triple shift over…read morethe past Saturday, this is where I chose to grab a quick bite to eat from. Not only are they clean, but they are also quick. I needed some protein to get my mid to late afternoon going. My go-to here is Shroomami but the Caramelized Garlic Steak (pictured on the menu up above) grabbed my undue attention so I went with it. A bit too salty to my liking but overall, it was a really good dish. All of my favorite such as sweet potatoes, stir-fried broccoli and cherry tomatoes are all over the plate. I asked the lady to sprinkle the crispy onion to enhance the whole taste of it. I also asked the sauce to be on the side so I can dip some of the steak pieces in it whenever I would want to. This plate itself is $16.35 which is reasonable for the size. They charged me $0.50 for the onion topping as this is/was outside of the dish's description; no worries on that. This dish is now my second go-to at Sweetgreen. I can't wait to try other dishes. Next time, I will probably go with the chicken one. Looking forward to it!

(Which is very underwhelming because even with a "not so skimpy portion, it's still not alot). The workers there are always very friendly and have no complaints there. This location is always very clean and well presented.

To update my most recent review of this place after getting me the Kafta Kabab plate…read more... Amazingly good quality food and friendly service!! On a super chilly Friday night, after I had been done with my second hustle business not too far from this restaurant, before I headed for another business I would need to take care of, I stopped here as I was famished. I simply couldn't think of any other place where I could get food that always promises quality where I wouldn't have to wait too long to get it. I was truly fearful that my uncontrollable appetite would swallow me had I gone to a different restaurant where I might end up waiting too long (LOL!!) My choice was right. And to be greeted by the same kind gentleman (who had always assisted me in the past) warmed up the core of my heart and soul. He did say to me that I should have called in to place my order ahead because he said that the kitchen was quite busy and that I might wait at least or as long as 20 minutes. I told him I was willing to wait although my stomach continued to yell at me from inside!! Well, I got lucky; it didn't take long. See...my assumption was right; this place never disappoints. This time, instead of the usual I get (the vegetarian plate), I tried something different. It's the Kafta Kabob plate. This is another great dish to consider ordering at this place as long as meat is part of your diet. The meat was unapologetically tender and well-seasoned. It was hard to fathom as to how they perfected this technique to cook it to its perfection. The accompanying salad and hummus were gracefully served in the same container. Did I say that Golden's hummus is one of the best? I think I did at least once. It is because of its impeccable creaminess. Awww...I can eat this thing almost everyday if I must. This is a tiny, more of a family-run restaurant type place. Inside is quite basic and yet it's never messy or dirty. This is a place you can comfortably sit and dine without worrying about its cleanliness; sanitation is not an issue. But most of all, you go here for the quality of food. This place easily beats a fine restaurant in an upscale neighborhood for sure.

If I'm not mistaken this is a woman owned business. If so, way to go!…read more As I navigated my way to get to this restaurant tucked in this little neighborhood near I-25 and Evans, their solid reputation motivated me to try it out for the first time the past weekend. And I'm glad I did. The restaurant was empty around 2pm (ish) on a Saturday, as I walked in nobody was around. Great photo taking moment is what I thought! While I was snapping some photos a woman walked out of the kitchen to greet me. She gave me one of the menu after I informed her this was for to go. After perusing it for a quick minute or so I set my eyes on the Half Grilled Chicken. Unfortunately though, the lady (after confirming with the kitchen) told me they were still cooking it so it'd take at least 30 minutes before it would be ready. I then asked her if Tikka (lamb dish) was ready for a quick to go. She said yes. This is a dish with lamb steak pieces but she kindly asked me if I would like a mixture of the steak pieces and Kebab meat (minced meat) which she was willing to do the alternative. Liked this idea of hers a lot so I gave her my peppy yes. My food was finally going! I looked around the entire restaurant thoroughly. Not necessarily super fancy in any way and yet I saw some accented decors (tapestry, artwork etc.) on every single wall. Not overly done; just the right amount of noticeable things here and there but most of all it was very clean. Took a bit over ten minutes before my meal came out; sure sign that they did prepare it fresh for me. She handed me a bag that contained it and off I went to do my business I had for the afternoon. Once I parked I checked what it looked like inside the box and it was beautiful. I, of course, took enough bites of it to ensure the quality of it as well. Yes, I agree with great reviews left by others. This place is solid. Between the lamb steak pieces and kebab I ended up liking the kebab slightly more but both of them were perfectly marinated in whatever the spices they used to make them. The bed of rice had the perfect moisture. The hummus almost tasted like baba ghanouj; very creamy indeed. This restaurant is now included in my "best Mediterranean restaurant" list in my neighborhood. As of this writing, I can still taste the delicious food I ate several days ago. I shall go back for more soon.
