There are many varieties of snowls. They also offer some spicy ricecakes, taiyaki and teas. My group got the strawberry snowl. It came with a mochi ice cream topping, sliced strawberries, popping boba and strawberry syrup. The bowl was extremely sweet and the four of us could not finish it. The snowl itself was quite large, but if it was less sweet, I think we could have finished it. The shopping mall has some parking but it can get filled pretty quickly. Snowl is a cute little spot and I've been coming here for years when I want dessert whenever I'm in the area. It's super easy to order you just go to one of the kiosks and pay there and when your order is ready they'll call your number. I usually like to get the fruit shaved ice but this time we got the sweet potato one and I actually really liked it and it's perfect for fall. They have large chunks of cheesecake that are really rich and like a sweet potato sauce or puree. Can't wait to come back and have it again. read more

As someone who grew up eating soft serve and thinking it was amazing, I kind of want to go back in time and tell my younger self that believe it or not, something exists that's better than soft serve and it's called a snow bowl (bingsu). Man, what an unbelievably tasty treat. Ordering is simple - step up to the kiosk, choose what you want, choose to pay at the kiosk or at the window, then just wait for your order to be called. Honestly the waiting is the worst part because once you start eating bingsu time stops so you can adequately enjoy it. It seems like ice cream places are a dime a dozen. They are all over the place and pretty much all of them are good, but if you want something just as delicious (if not even more delicious) and definitely different than I highly recommend Snowl. They really have quite a selection, but we tried out the snow bowls. We had the one with mango and the chocolate. Both were equally delicious and so refreshing. Went here with my husband on a dessert meal outing. (Like going out for dinner but it's just dessert!) I was sad I couldn't fill the little taiyaki fish waffles with different varieties of fillings. In other places you can get one filling per waffle, but this place made you get 5 of the same ie chocolate. That wound up being wasteful because they're best fresh of course. Also the taiyaki waffle doesn't taste or have the texture of rice flour like they usually do, but more American waffle maker texture. Not sure if that makes sense, but I missed the rice flour texture:) They also only have two flavors of ice cream at a time and its texture is of super cold frozen yogurt. We got the milk tea one and liked it. We got a 'waffle cone' on the side with PB in it. We also tried a waffles-croissant thing that was supposed to be banana Nutella but had way too much chocolate syrup on top and that drowned everything else out really. The waffle was hard and chewy and yet we kept cutting off bites of it. It was still delicious and alluring even with that firmer texture. I'd try and ask for light sauce and have it again. We also got a fruity tea which had a vaguely disappointing variety of fruit in it. Usually the mixed fruit teas have several pieces of slices fruits in there. Service was nicely okay, they don't really interact with people as a means of the whole business being order by a screen kiosk thing, but I liked that a lot. When we did need something they were very helpful. Over all, I'd explore other options for similar food like this but I don't know of many so I'd definitely be back to try more either way. While some things were a little mixed to me, it was still very fun over all. And the interior had cute little areas decorated with plants and lovely white walls all around and just was a whole vibe really. Very much enjoyed our visit. read more

I've been coming here for years, but I just thought to write a review every single time I was in the same they're very nice friendly. They get your order right every single time my favorite and I do suggest it is a must try. Are the rice cakes they come in a little skewer and they are just so good. I haven't tried the big pack yet but it's like $30 and way too much for one person but if you do go in with your family, I definitely think that it's a must try. My Boba always comes out right and looking so so good I went in and they had a new flavor called the Ube Horchata Boba, and it was pretty good. It's just an interesting flavor, if that's too exotic for you I do recommend just getting something more basic haha I always love getting the little fishes with some sort of chocolate sauce they're so good they give you a lot. I tried one time with my friend these red bean ones and those weren't really my favorite, but I'm still glad I tried it anyways. The times I've gone it's always nice and quiet, but there are other times where it gets a little more crowded but I never have to wait more than like five minutes from my Boba. read more

The reason why I'm giving this a 2 star is due to the cost and poor service. I had won (2) $10 gift cards to here so decided to take my daughter here to check it out. My daughter just wanted an ice cream cup with strawberries and I went to order the strawberry croffle. The lady told me they don't have strawberries to top on ice cream. I asked her if they were out because I was going to order the strawberry croffle and she told me that they have them for the croffle but they don't use them as a topping for their ice cream. I couldn't even pay more to have it added. It felt like poor customer service and didn't make a lot of sense. Instead we just got her fruity pebbles as a topping. I go check out and once the transaction was completed, I looked at the receipt and noticed that they were only giving me $18.52 credit out of $20 gift cards. I asked the woman why I wasn't getting the full $20 and she said that it takes out tax. I told her that didn't make any sense, as I've never had money taken out of the value of a gift card for tax, especially since you're already paying tax. So you pay tax on the gift card and tax on the purchase? She said that's just how the store does it. I thought it was very scammy and she didn't want to be bothered. The strawberry croffle was good but this place is expensive and screws you out of gift card money for "tax." They also will put strawberries for one item but not for another, even when offering to pay more money. We also grabbed a banana bread pudding to go. The pudding was good but there was too much bread in it. I included a picture of the receipt to show the experience. Overall I wouldn't come back. Poor customer service at its finest. read more

This place is a casual dessert shop that can satisfy all of your sweet and salty cravings. Their snow bowls are pretty large and have a good variety of flavors from Korean-style to more fruit based (watermelon is ). So hard to find Korean shave ice in Denver! This spot is solid with good size portions - you can split a snow bowl amongst 3-4 people easily. 2 people could probably finish one but you'd be really full. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so the taiyaki with red bean is my favorite (without ice cream), but if you've got a sweet tooth I'd say try it with the ice cream. It's got plenty of seating so a good spot for post dinner dessert date or with a group of friends. They serve bingsu in HUGE portion sizes - I got a mango bingsu that was basically the size of my head. It's a great size to share with 3-4 people, but I wish they had smaller sizes to accomodate for 1-2 people. As for the taste, I loved the soft and fluffy texture of the shaved ice, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. I liked how they included a chewy mochi on top. The parking lot is pretty huge but it is shared with several other stores and restaurants. So definitely might be hard trying to find a spot. I got a milkshake which I forgot to take a picture of but it was very delicious and I got the cute little half fish with the marshmallow cream on the inside. I wish they would let you customize it more and put the milkshake or vanilla ice cream inside the little Half fish, but you can only get what they offered. Honestly there's nothing that really stood out too much about this place flavor wise or texture wise. It was refreshing and delicious. Not too sweet but perfect. Had some strawberries, strawberry boba and some jelly on top as well. The service is always good. Plus they have 3 machine at front that you can make your order yourself if you are introvert and doesn't want to talk to anyone or just like myself that need to practice what I will order. It's MASSIVE! We got the Matcha Bingsu and it was more than enough for 4 people as a dessert. If you haven't had a big meal, maybe 2-3 can finish it but it was huge for us. The ice is thinly shaved, packed with flavors (matcha). It has layers of ice and condensed milk. For toppings, it has sweetened red beans (personally it was too sweet), shaved almonds, and a mochi ice cream (matcha flavor). Overall, really strong flavor of matcha, a bit turn off was the really sweet red beans and if you're a bing su connoisseur as I claim myself to be, the ice is still a bit hard. But it was enjoyable as a whole. $16 sounded expensive but given the portion, I would say it's a steal. Cute shop with a lot of seatings.
