Yummmy!!! Snowl is really cute inside with lots of seating and self order kiosks. The decor is very aesthetic and the menu offers a lot of different things from drinks to ice cream to tteokbokki. We came on a weekday night after going to the ramen place next door and it was the perfect dessert place. We ordered on the kiosk and got our food super quickly. This place is the perfect place to hang out and chat with friends - they have plenty of tables with good lighting and decor. We got a Taiyaki in a cup swirl with matcha and milk tea soft serve. So I decided to stop by this cute gem nestled away in busy Aurora on Christmas Eve. I'm super glad I did ! What drew me in was the Boba Tea, since I've been on Boba Tea crave train and their cute atmosphere! I've never been into a place like Snowl and I was super impressed. Customer service was bomb and I got all of my questions answered in a flash. I ended up getting a milk tea mocha with coffee jelly which is VERY GOOD. Snowl is absolutely delicious! I have had their snow bowl and taiyaki on a different occasion, but for this particular visit I ordered an iced coffee with coffee jellies and loved it. For anyone curious about the coffee jellies... I definitely think it's a must try! It adds such a great black coffee flavor and I love their chewiness! It makes your drink that much more fun! Snowl is a self service establishment. So, you order all of your own treats and wait for them to call your number! I liked this aspect. It felt very efficient and the wait wasn't long at all. Wow! What a find! I love taiyaki and haven't had it yet since moving to Colorado so I was excited to discover this place. We got a Taiyaki ice cream in a cup. You can choose a filling for the Taiyaki and also the ice cream and toppings. We decided to have it plain with swirl ice cream (milk tea and matcha) and some golden puffs for toppings. Overall it was super delicious. The Taiyaki was the perfect texture: chewy, crunchy, tasty and the ice cream was really nice too. The flavor is on the milder side which I thought worked well. The golden puffs were good, we actually thought it was something else when we ordered but liked it anyway. The whole bite just felt complete and you have the varying textures and flavors. Also there are 3 ordering kiosks so it makes ordering super easy. Since we went on a Friday night it was a bit busy so we had to wait for our food for awhile but nothing too crazy. Just good to note I guess it's not really something you can get in like 5 minutes if there are lots of people. Anyway, we enjoyed our food and definitely want to try more things. If I could give this a 6/5 I would. I love snowl and I take all of our visitors here. The shaved ice is phenomenal, the tayaki and fillings are flavorful and crispy, the drinks are great, boba is soft and chewy, and the rice cakes are savory/ sweet/ crunchy/ chewy bits of joy. I have never had anything here I didn't love. My only warning would be the shaved ice bowls are massive and it's hard for even two people to eat. I wish they had mini sizes! We had the black sesame bowl and an order of the tteok kkochi with a Thai tea milk tea this go around and we left stuffed between the two of us. Just get in the car and go already! Okay bingsoo at a high cost - $16 per bowl. It's a big bowl and enough to share with 3-4 people; however, the cost is still high for this. We got green tea snow as it's recommended by many people but it was okay. The shaved ice is strong in flavor but should be a bit finer and softer. There are some pieces on the bottom of the bowl that ball up into ice pieces. It's topped with red beans, thinly sliced almond, one green tea mochi ice cream, and condense milk drizzle. Red beans typically goes well with green tea/matcha, but the red beans here is sooo sweet and it's covered with condensed milk (sweet drizzle), which makes the topping not enjoyable. Mochi ice cream is more for the decoration, it's not high quality mochi ice cream. Overall, the snow itself is okay, the toppings are unnecessary and make it overwhelming. read more

Snowl is a cute dessert shop. Immediately upon walking through the doorway you look up and see little clouds hanging from fishing line surrounded by very aesthetic lighting. There are no human cashiers anymore, the ordering is done completely through three kiosks. It's fast and simple for a kiosk, one of the better ones I've used. This store is not fully automated, there's still human interactions when they call out your order! They're very nice and straight forward. Highly organized as they know where every order is and they provide excellent estimates for when your baked items will be ready. My friends ordered separately the chocolate and red bean filled taiyaki, fish shaped waffles. They're really hot so don't shove them in your mouth. These take a bit longer to come out than your other desserts as they're made upon order. The outside is crispy and the inside is very soft. The red bean filling is not overly sweet where you get sick of it, it's appropriately sweet. The chocolate filled taiyaki is good to have one or two, but the milk chocolate that is used gets overwhelming quickly. I didn't order the strawberry croquette, but my friend described it as sweet and creamy. Very good overall. The milk tea was quite standard. Good but nothing to literally write home about. We didn't actually order drinks that contain tea I think outside of the green Thai tea. The green Thai tea was very aromatic with herbs. Interesting and good. In the past when I've ordered a tea based drink from here you don't get a strong tea flavor, it's not underwhelming but quite subtle. For some this can be good or bad. The drinks are very basic and done decently. A few years ago the drinks were a 5, but now Denver has a ton of high quality options that this place's drinks don't stand out all too well. I can describe the shaved ice I've had in the past. It's a very light and refreshing treat. It's covered in fruit and condensed milk. Some flavors may have syrup additions on top but this is a relatively light dessert compared to their other offerings. The bowl is huge. The only negative thing I have to really say is that the water cups are very small but at least the water station is free! But when consuming so many sweet things I tend to drink a lot of water. read more

In desperate need of a sweet treat after our meal at Angry Chicken, my husband and I ventured over to Snowl. Having heard good things about this spot, I was anxious to try it! This might be one of my favorite boba hangout spots in Colorado. Not only is the place aesthetic AF, but the variety of drink, snack and dessert options is worth making the trip and staying for. K-pop fans might also appreciate the music playing in the background. For COVID, they've set up touchscreen kiosks (think the fancy McDonald's ones) to order your drink and food. You can even pick your preferences on screen, like half sugar or coffee jelly instead of boba. Just remember to check off "no boba" if you don't want boba; otherwise, you'll get both coffee jelly AND boba like I did. (Honestly can't complain though.) I'd talk about how fluffy and mouth-watering the bowl of snow (omg I think I just realized that's why it's called Snowl???) is, but I really actually genuinely want to talk about the taiyaki here. The ones with the chocolate filling are seriously TO DIE FOR. Red bean and sweet potato are great, too, but HELLO CHOCOLATE TAIYAKIS. They come in a bag of five, so you can chill with your friends and split them stress free. The hubs and I brought our niece for a supersized dessert treat the other weekend. The place was jam packed and we were really lucky to even find a parking space. When you let an 11 year old who loves sugar do the ordering, you are bound to end up with a LOT of sugar. She ordered the strawberry snowl bowl and a strawberry boba. What can I say? She loves strawberry! The hubs and I each ordered a taiyaki ice cream - his with milk tea and mine with green tea. The ice cream wasn't very rich and melted really fast so we had to eat up quick. Our favorite part by far was the taiyaki part and thankfully, we had ordered an additional 5 to go. Our niece consumed those 5 by the end of the night and they were really quite good. Our niece ate about a third of her strawberry snowl bowl which I felt terrible not being able to finish that as I hate wasting food. As we should have known by the size, this is best as a shared dessert. The novelty wore off pretty quickly for all of us though. The ice cream was good but not creamy or packed with flavor as we would normally like.
