I absolutely loved my coffee and dessert-- there were so many unique options, I am looking forward to coming back here to try the others. The service was really friendly, even though they were super busy. Apparently, the space, while still called Coffee Story, has new owners. So they've kept many of the Korean favorites (and the mochi donuts-- yay!), but a lot of the dessert and coffee options now are inspired by SWANA (Southwest Asian and North African) cultures. read more

I have been meaning to check out Coffee Story by Barakah Brews for a while now so I'm glad I finally got the chance to. I like the options they have on their menu. I ended up getting the Biscoff Latte with oat milk and the mixed berry croffle. If you like sweet drinks like me, then the Biscoff latte is really up your alley. The mixed berry croffle was also pretty good. I expected the croffle to be more flaky because the base is a croissant but it was still pretty good. Although I didn't get pictures of the inside, there's plenty of seating but beware that the tables inside can be quite small for a group of 2 coming in to work or study. Make sure to come early enough to snag one of the tables with more chairs so you have more space. Also they are open really late. I believe it's 11 p.m. or 12 a.m. which is great! Make sure to check their website for hours. Otherwise, I really liked the ambience and the space so I'll definitely be coming back again. I really need to come back and try their matcha and their honeycomb, amongst other things. read more

Please don't be fools by something that looked absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the experience didn't come nearly close of the presentation. For the price, they should be ready to enjoy, not served frozen to the point where they're inedible. We weren't informed ahead of time that they would be frozen, so we ended up spending quite a bit without actually being able to enjoy them they were still ice-cold on the inside. The Turkish coffee was also disappointing and didn't resemble what you would typically expect. Overall, the visit fell short of expectations. If pastries are being sold at a premium price of $12-14 per one... they should be fresh and ready to eat not something so frozen it feels like it could break your teeth. read more

Rarely do I ever visit a coffee shop and they get the coffee just right. It's usually not sweet or strong enough, but this is not the case here at Coffee Story. I was stuck between the Uber Matcha and Spanish Latte. The barista said both were equally sweet drinks but wasn't able to recommend clearly between the two. I decided to go on a whim and try the Spanish Latte and I'm so glad that I did. It was strong yet sweet, a perfect combo. I could literally drink it everyday and considered going back tomorrow. Maybe I'll try some of their other drinks in the future but the Spanish Latte has me in a chokehold right now. read more

We've been meaning to check out Coffee Story as it is so close to one of our favorites, Thank Sool Pocha. Coffee Story is a cute coffee shop with sweet treats and a nice patio area. The staff working here are nice. We got the Midnight Lychee Sparkling Ade and the Ube latte with Oat milk. Both were on the sweeter side, but still very delicious. We also got an Ube Mochi Donut. Cute and comfortable coffee shop with a great menu selection. They have typical coffee drinks and specialty drinks and smoothies. There are also sandwiches, waffles, and Mochinut donuts. They no longer serve shaved ice. I got the pumpkin spice latte which was average - not too sweet but also a little lacking in pumpkin spice flavor. My friends enjoyed their teriyaki chicken sandwich. Boba here is not the best since the texture of the boba balls could use some improvement. Wifi kept going in and out for all of us, but it was still functional enough for us to get some work done. Very friendly staff. Lots of seating including a little patio section. There is a moderate sized parking lot but it tends to fill up during peak hours with the other businesses in the plaza so you may have to find street parking. read more

I thought this place was charming & I'm so happy it's on my way to work! I was so impressed at the size of the wrap- it was huge! I could only eat half of it, but if you're looking for a delicious sizeable breakfast that's worth your money- this is it! This coffee shop is combined with mochinut. As soon as you walk in, there's a kiosk available at the entrance for you to order but they do have a disclaimer at the top stating for any pastries, donut, and shaved ice to order at the counter and not at the kiosk. I thought that was a bit odd but they must have their reason. There's plenty of seating arrangements and there's also a connecting door to the ramen place next door which was nice. Outdoor seating is also available but you can definitely feel a slight breeze. Drinks came out relatively fast and I was excited to try my drink since I love mango and peach flavor drinks. I was very surprised when I drank it since it was overwhelmingly sweet and tangy. I tried asking for some water to hopefully dilute the flavor to where it's drinkable but it did not help at all. I'm not one to complain about a drink but this drink was honestly not drinkable at all so I was hoping they could either remake it or switch for something else. Unfortunately, the worker stated that's just how the powder tastes like and to add water to dilute it ourselves. This is probably the only place I've been to where they don't really care about customer satisfaction and does not remake drinks or offer to make something else. Honestly more than a bit disappointing for my first experience here. Hence why I'm giving it 2 stars. read more

Which was my first mistake, but to my credit I did want to give them some chances and consider the issue(s) a fluke. After the fourth fluke I'm never coming back so I'll review to say they never have your full order available. Something is always missing, and before they change their method to check inventory before charging you, they charge you and tell you they don't have something. Usually a good item. It has been a while since visiting Coffee Story on Havana last time. The cafe did not change much but the Mochinut next door has been converted to Menya Ramen and the connecting door between the two places was sealed off. Besides its drinks, pastries and deli items, Coffee Story also offered Mochinut's famous donuts and Korean corn dogs all under one roof. Ordered the Denver Toast with fried eggs, ham, bacon, American cheese, mayo with white toast and caramel latte. The Denver Toast was especially good, prepared just liked the way many breakfast sandwich stands did in Asia, simple, delicious, but rarely found here in town. The latte was artisanal, a perfect match for the sandwich. Knowing it has this available, Coffee Story certainly would be added to my favorite breakfast or light meal spots. read more

This little coffee shop is located in a strip mall area and seems to be connected to the restaurant next door. Anywho, we were out running errands and ended up here when the coffee cravings kicked in. I had them bookmarked just in case for these type of situations, lol... We came during an off time and so it wasn't very busy at all. I ordered an iced Dalgona Latte and a white chocolate berry mochi donut. I also read a bunch of reviews that said the "Denver Toast" is where it's at and so we got one of those to share for good measure as well. Now, I'm not quite sure what makes it a "Denver" toast, but dang that breakfast sammie hit the spot! Don't sleep on this, folks. Fried eggs, bacon, ham, american cheese, some kind of cheddar magic sauce, and perfectly toasted white bread. We gobbled that up! This was the winner right here. I just wish it had a bit more sauce because it made it THAT much better, but overall it was delicious and a really good size for the price in my opinion. My Dalgona Latte was also tasty and not overly sweet. The mochi donut was pretty standard and good. My only critique was that the food served on paper plates kind of took away from the presentation/quality, but the taste made up for it. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area. Nice little cafe in the heart of the Aurora on Havana. Got me a cappuccino with oat milk and it was a 4 out of 5. Service was very kind and even had a kiosk to order if you didn't want to talk to anyone. I'm glad to have come here instead of Snowl - I needed something different than just shaved ice and preferably coffee flavored. Boy, did I come to the right place. The Tiramisu latte has a deeper coffee flavor than any of Starbuck's frappe drinks, and is topped with what I call "cigar cookie", it was delicious! The Black Sesame Shaved Ice looked outrageous! In a good way. It's similar to what you'll get at Snowl but maybe because it's served in a cup, it just looked more tempting, like there's more stuff crammed into it. Coffee Story is a nice and spacious place to hang out; they're sharing a space with a mochi donut shop so be careful, you might spend all day here! The staff is very nice and sweet. Nestled in an existing strip mall with good parking, the specialty coffee drink menu had a nice selection, the pastries that were available looked fantastic, and the service was very good. I love this place. The environment is always so warm and friendly. I also like how they have an "inside outside" section where it's all windows so it makes you feel like you're outside but with out all the bugs. My favorite thing to get here is the ube (or sweet potato) latte with almond milk. It's sweet and comforting without it being overbearing. The servers are also always nice. I've been coming here every now and then for years now and never gotten a bad experience. Oh also!!!!! They have Korean corn dogs now and they are sweeter than other ones I've tasted. Stopped here on a whim for an afternoon pick-me-up before heading to work after having lunch nearby. It has a comfy urban chic vibe with a lot of indoor and sun-room seating options. The barista was very helpful as it was my first time in so an extra star for the service here. I was beyond excited to find a Gelato Affogato on the menu as I have yet to find it anywhere but up at my favorite coffee shop in Breck. The espresso itself was delicious but I was very disappointed with the quality of the vanilla "gelato". For a whopping $7.50 the small portion of vanilla "gelato" tasted and looked more like freezer burned Dreyer's vanilla bean ice cream than traditional, creamy, delicious gelato. I'm talking crunchy ice crystals and everything. Very disappointing for a coffee/dessert shop. I was really hoping for the best with this drink and was sorely disappointed. I then opted for a $5 hot Tiramisu Latte which was absolutely delicious. I don't know how they did it but it tasted just like I was drinking a piece of the dessert but not overly sweet and just the right amount of coffee. Be warned - they do float a couple actual lady finger cookies in the drink which I wasn't expecting so I was more than a little confused by the mushy cookie residue when I got to the bottom of my drink. Nonetheless, this drink was a win and I will definitely be ordering it again. Can't wait to go back and try some of their pastries and other food items. I was too full to partake this visit.
