She said that their whole goal as a business is to put smiles on faces and they offered to deliver to us! So now we have an agreement and order Boba almost weekly. Tieguanyin Milk Tea, Large, Honey Boba ($6.85) - I first asked about their sweetness levels and they stated that their full sweetness is much less than chain boba shops and I totally agree. It's probably comparable to 50% sweetness, which makes the drink pleasantly sweet and not cloying, good for my tastes. The drink is expertly blended with non dairy creamer to give plenty of creaminess but not a hint of grit. The tieguanyin is brewed very hard. Hard enough that it has the characteristic bitterness and smokiness of heavily overbrewed tea. It's smoky and tannic and only has a small fruity undertone, which might actually be from the boba honey soak. While it's not the best tea flavor, it's better than a lot of other shops where the tea is secondary to syrups and powders. The boba is nice, marinated so there's a decently sweetness level, with a great chew and bounce. They aren't that consistent in size, but the texture is consistent between pearls. Unfortunately they don't give enough boba. When we still had a third of the drink left to go, all the boba ran out!
