High ceilings make the large dining room seem expansive, and everything is brand new for the grand opening. Counter seating offers outlets for those who need a space to work and sip. Other tables are mostly for seating groups of 4, but if you've got a large group you could probably sit at two adjacent tables. Upbeat music plays over the sound of a TV in the corner which currently is set to news channels. Staff were super friendly and made sure to tell me about the Grand Opening specials: BOGO 50% two large drinks, or get 1 large drink and a Signature Poke Bowl for $19.99. Needing to test the waters, I opted to try one of their drinks since lately I've been having trust issues with boba places. And I was very pleased by the Taro Milk Swirl, which I got hot for a chilly morning. The smaller tapioca pearls were perfectly bouncy and never got stuck in the straw, and the 30% sweet was actually the level of sweetness that I desired to complement the natural creaminess of the taro. Would not order again for a couple weeks until I see a good enough review on these pearls lol. Also, very little syrup, when mixed, just tastes like milk. Not the great experience I'm used to.
