Quick stop at this Gong Cha located within a Glendale strip mall! Very reminiscent of the ones in California. I ordered from the nifty kiosk, and my drinks were prepared in no time. I didn't have much interaction with the staff because of the streamlined digital experience, but I would come here again for both the convenience and quality of the milk teas and boba. read more

Finally made it to the Denver location and it did not disappoint. The location is cute and clean. When you come on a weekday during the afternoon, it's not busy. There are plenty of seats available and a private parking lot. I ordered the creme brûlée and it was delicious. You do have to mix it around so you can get the aroma of a creme brûlée in your drink. The drink isn't too sweet. It comes in a lid so placing a straw is easy if it's your first time drinking boba. read more

Okayyyy...you don't even know how excited I was to find out Gong Cha was finally coming to Colorado. The first time I had Gong Cha was when I was in Hong Kong in 2018. And I know this location has been open for awhile but I just haven't had the time to go until recently. And I am obsessed with the earl gray milk tea. My first sip literally transported me back to my trip and it was just as good as I remember. It's funny because I work less than 5 minutes away but it's just not convenient for me when I am going home. But I had a rough day at work so I decided to treat myself. It doesn't matter if I'm in NYC, DC, Cali, or Taipei - solid boba milk tea as expected from Gong Cha. Lots of options to choose from - hot or cold. I usually ask for 30-50% sweetness depending on the type of drink. For example, 50% sweetness for a classic milk tea or early grey milk tea, but I'd ask for 30% for wintermelon milk tea. Space is open. Lots of seating and clean. It's fairly new - it opened last year. Staff is young but they seem to make the drinks well and quickly. read more

I stopped by Gong Cha on a random afternoon due to some bubble tea cravings. They have a couple self-service kiosks that are nice for all the gen Zers who like to defer human interaction. LOL. In true millennial fashion, I did not want to interrupt the workflow of the one employee making a drink and I did end up using the kiosk. It was super easy to use and I love that you get the option to choose your ice and sugar level. I opted for the creme brulee brown sugar milk tea with boba with light ice and 50% sugar. It was f***ing delicious. And really expensive!! Honestly, I think I paid almost $10 for the drink + tip. I was a bit shocked. I mean, I know inflation and yada yada but holy moly. She's expensive. But delicious. I'm conflicted in that I don't feel as though I want to pay this much for boba but at the same time, if I'm going to treat myself then I need it from a place that makes LEGIT boba, right?!? I've been here several times because it's close by DU. There's a self service station, cashier and door dash pick up spot. The inside is always very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful every time. The boba here is always chewy but I do wish there was more tea flavor in some of the tea drinks. My favorites here are the Oolong Milk Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea, it reminds me of Yakult. It's a great spot for a date, quick solo drink, or pit spot with friends and family. read more

So excited the Gong Cha is finally in Denver! As a person who is addicted to bubble tea, especially fruit teas, this is a perfect place to go grab a cup that will have that authentic tea smell and taste. This location is located in the two level mall building next to the World Market on Colorado, and luckily this part of the mall isn't too hectic. They make a solid cup of bubble tea and have multiple customization options available for sweetness, ice level and toppings. Since I typically order fruit tea here, I go for the 30% sweetness as I like my drinks to not be overly sweet. The staff here are super helpful with questions and recommendations and are efficient with getting you your drinks and bubble waffles. I have tried the chocolate bubble waffle and didn't find that it had the almost mochi like texture in the middle of each piece but that might just have been my default expectation being a hong kong style bubble waffle. It was still delicious and a good snack to go with the bubble tea. Everything here is delicious and they are consistent with their quality. My only complaint is the drinks can get pricey as you customize them but that seems to be the case with most bubble tea shops now. I'll keep coming back, I love fruit teas! read more

Grand opening weekend ! There was a consistent line when we arrived around 6:30pm. We ordered the lychee oolong tea at 50% sweetness and it was perfect. Lychee tends to be a little sweet so it balanced out the darker oolang flavor. We tried gong Cha for the first time in Korea and their milk tea was so delicious. Unfortunately, they don't offer the same flavors here. We will be back to try more drinks. Use Ohio to get to the shopping center, it's a light. Plenty of parking. read more

Got here on Sunday of the opening weekend. The hours on here and Google said they open at 11am but they actually opened at noon. The line formed quickly right after. I got their green milk tea with boba, it was easy to customize at the kiosk. I also ordered their bubble waffle with salted cream. Wow! Quite possibly the best boba I've had in Denver. The brown sugar tea is amazing!

Second time trying Gong Cha, because I didn't have a good time during grand opening and wanted to give it another try. First visit during grand opening the workers were rude and did not inform us that they were out of boba until they made multiple orders ahead of us and we went up to the counter to ask. When I came to visit again, it wasn't super busy but was already backed up. Same problem happened again and they ran out of boba without informing us. When picking up the drinks they didn't let us know that they substituted the honey boba with crystal boba. If I wasn't watching them make the order I wouldn't have known until we drank the drinks. Again they made multiple drinks in front of us and didn't not tell us anything until we walked up to the counter. Two of our drinks were previously made with honey boba but were left to sit for over 20 minutes with minimal boba (since they were running out). Thankfully we were able to get a refund after some haggling but I would not visit again. There are plenty of other boba options in the surrounding area that are stocked with boba and offer better customer service. read more

I wouldn't recommend coming. unless you'd like to wait for 30 plus minutes for drinks. they'll make drinks out of order too, they'll make a couple drinks for one order and jump to another order. they were out of boba and started to make drinks that didn't have boba and processed to put crystal boba instead of asking whether customers wanted a different one or a refund. or even inform incoming customers that's they are out of boba and there will be a VERY LONG wait. it seems like only one worker was actually making all the drinks while the other was slowly taping the sticker or grabbing toppings. this place seriously needs help in general, with managing their time to make drinks and making boba! read more
