Yummy teas! Grabbed a couple of teas to go and loved them. The tea is natural tasting and not that powdery consistency that I loathe. This is definitely a great boba option in Denver!

I went to Tao Boba after I went visiting the nearby Museum of Contemporary Art. My wife and I got the Mangonada and Ube Creme Brulee. Both were excellent but I liked the Ube Creme Brulee more. It was like drinking the milk after eating cereal and it was spectacular. The Mangonada was like a mango smoothie with a little spicy kick and it was okay. The service was fast and they had game boards to play. We sat around playing games while sipping on our drinks. I do wish they had decaf coffee and tea so I could have had some of the other drinks. Either way I would go back if I was in the area.

We came to this place after leaving Elitch Gardens and it's less than ten minutes away. There's only street parking but we lucked out since it's a Sunday afternoon and parking was also free (yes!) They have a few food choices like Taiyaki and a strawberry sando. There's an area that has their featured drinks, fall specials, and a coffee menu, or you can order from their regular menu. Some drinks like their brûlée and yogurt only comes in a regular size. We tried their strawberry yogurt and black milk tea. There wasn't a long wait for our drinks to come out but it was no biggie since they had board games to occupy my littles. The drinks tasted great. We'll definitely be back when we're in this area.

Tao was a quick walk from the hotel I was staying at and had great reviews so given my love for boba, I knew I had to check it out before leaving Denver! There were so many great options that I had a hard time choosing, but ended up going with Eye of the Thai-ger (brewed from a strong blend of black teas and spices then sweetened with condensed milk; served over brown sugar boba and topped with a homemade salted buttercream). I've had Thai tea many times before, but this one stood out- I loved the depth of the tea plus it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. The boba was perfectly chewy, and the salted buttercream was classic. Ambiance is really nice, I hung out and got some work done for a bit: super open space, lots of natural light, tons of seating, their K-pop playlist was chef's kiss haha. Service was fast and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

This boba spot is great! I've only been once - I came to try the ube crème brûlée, and thought this spot had a similar vibe to the alley (a boba place in California that's really good). The quality was indistinguishable from the alley imo, it was a super sweet drink and very creamy. Would absolutely come back again!

This was a solid boba shop but a few things make me feel like I have to go with 4 stars over 5. Still a solid option for those close looking for a tasty beverage. We walked in and were the only patrons and looked over the menu especially their speciality offerings. So many choices and good sounding drinks that made decision making difficult. My wife ended up getting their Honey Matcha Latte and I tried ordering their Cupid Love boba drink. Unfortunately they did not offer this drink in a large version which was a little odd to me so in the end decided to try their Sea Salt Caramel Coffee. I enjoyed mine a lot and my wife liked it despite typically not being a caramel fan. My wife's drink was also solid. The biggest negative though had to do with her drink. On our walk enjoying the drinks she had one of the boba pearls and bit into it when she noticed some pain. Come to find out the boba or the drink in general had a small piece of plastic in it. Thankfully she found it and didn't swallow it. All in all drinks tasted good despite the mishap and not being able to get my original drink in a large. Worth checking out if you are craving boba or other beverage they have but I think there may be some better options out there for similar drinks.

Tao Boba is hands down the best boba spot in Denver! Their drinks are packed with real, bold flavors--not just syrup. My favorite is the Passionfruit Green Tea with Lychee Jelly The vibes are cozy, and the staff is always super welcoming. Seasonal specials are always creative and worth trying. If you haven't been yet, you're seriously missing out!

The boba was decent. Never anything to complain about. It won't be the best you have ever had but you will enjoy having it. Service is typically quick there have been a couple times that it's been understaffed and things take longer but they still treat you well. They have board games for guests which is a fun touch.

    Lavender Haze

I ordered a lavender haze. They said they can't adjust sugar levels so I was little concerned that it would be too sweet. But the drink was perfect! Nice ambiance with lots of tables & chairs for studying as well

    Homerun zero ube flavor

This place is mediocre. Don't come here if you're trying to catch the train or be anywhere soon. They take forever and will stop making your order to take someone else's order instead of finishing the first order and getting people out the door . I am now late for the train but don't want to ditch my $35 order after waiting for 15 min already. Sorry but this isn't my kinda place Update 10 min later- the little cheese waffle things barely have any cheese in them. They were soft and doughy. The Ube drink I got has NO flavor at all. Kind of grainy purple milk but no ube flavor at all. My son got pumpkin chai but they out boba in it when it shows no boba in it. That was the only thing I thought tasted good

The handcrafted drinks here are totally out of the world. We ordered ube, dalgona coffee, boba crème brûlée and everything was amazing. The new owners are very friendly and helpful, overall great experience. I will be back for sure for more drinks and yummy treats.

I've been coming here for a year now and it has never disappointed! Staff all work very hard to quickly craft delicious and creative beverages of all types! We've tried the strawberry yogurt drink and the strawberry matcha (pictured) and both are delicious! Fair prices and good sized beverages. They are kind and won't charge for extra pumps of flavor, etc. Cafe is cute and has plenty of seating. This is a good place to grab a drink and catch up with friends! As always, I'll be back.

Need to improve their boba. It should be pleasantly chewy. As the Taiwanese call it, "QQ". If it's hard and breaks apart easily, it's bad.

They were not malicious. They simply performed the transactional ritual of caffeinating a stranger with the exact emotional investment of a parking meter. The beverage itself was perfectly adequate. Bad coffee inspires anger. This coffee merely inspired a quiet acceptance of my own mortality. It was average in that completely forgettable way that makes you wonder why you parted with currency for a specialty drink in the first place. We always like to scope out the best coffee spots ahead of time. Little Owl did not disappoint! First, it's always difficult to find ceremonial grade Matcha wherever you go. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating.
