Ginger Zing, Blueberry Waffle Toast (w/ Strawberries), and Açaí Crunch
    Serena N.

Visiting Colorado for the first time and after eating so much hearty American food, I had to get something light and healthy. And I'm so glad I came across Bare Blends! I ordered the Ginger Zing (with extra ginger); so refreshing and a perfect way to start my morning, blueberry waffle toast (added strawberries) and this is a must!! We don't really have these types of waffle toasts at açaí places back in the Bay Area so I knew I had to try it. It's thick, a little dense because of the almond butter, but it perfectly paired with the agave and vanilla protein waffle blend! Lastly, I also got the açaí crunch bowl - to be honest, I've had other açaí bowls that I prefer more. No hate, the ingredients were so fresh, but I've just had better elsewhere. Definitely come here to refresh your palette!

Great smoothies. Bit taking along time but I don't blame them. Kind service but low crew. Cute small place

Great place to grab an açaí bowl or smoothie. All natural ingredients. It's plant-based food - so it's vegan friendly and dairy free. The only "added" sugar is some agave. Th drinks aren't too sweet, but also not too plain and bitter. The iced peanut butter coffee was really good. And the fiesta blend salad is a must. My BF loves it and totally thought there was real meat and cheese in it. Walnut sunflower taco "meat" is seasoned perfectly and the cashew "queso" tastes just like cheese. So glad to have these healthy options in our backyard.

This is the Creamsicle crush. It's amazing. As you can see they have a great mixture of heathy toppings.

Blueberries & taco juice. Also the taco waffle had zero flavor...very strange.

Not good! They put our blueberry waffles in the same box as our taco waffles & the juices mixed together making it inedible. This is not a good practice for their Doordash orders! The caramel coffee was wayyyy too sweet, and the smoothie bowl had a gooey texture. The berry smoothie & the tiny sides of fruit cups were the only edible thing. Waste of $50.

Food was fresh and tasty, but we waited a LONG time. I ordered a smoothie and a bowl. It took 15 minutes to be ready and the place wasn't t even that busy. There were 2 friendly ladies working but they were quite slow. I'd like to come again but hope the wait won't be so long.

I happened to walk by and saw their doors open so stopped in today. It is their soft opening October 30th and 31st. The grand opening being Monday. The coffee climb was excellent. The owner was visiting with all the customers as they popped in. They have an excellent menu selection and I was so happy to see child menu options as well.

Omg the immunity juice is just what I needed! So refreshing and tasty. The smoothie bowls are also yummy and the seasonal flavors are fun! Can't wait to try everything at this cute new spot on University. Everything is so fresh!

Just tried this place and the kids bowl, the blue lagoon and the fruit bowl so far was good and one of the items that I had in the past elsewhere was totally gross to me I felt I was definitely not eating nothing peanut buttery but a burnt Chocolatey mess. I spend $60 I would like a credit for at least this one bowl but get a drink instead.

For $9 a smoothie I can't justify the price. They only have one size which sucks and it's not very big for the cost.

I wanted to try different things so I got two savory meals and one sweet one. The white bean stew was tremendous and a little spicy. I'll give credit where it's due though--the appetizers were the highlight. The green mussels and the Caesar salad were genuinely good and set the bar high at the start. The pizza is where things went sideways. The first one was delayed because it was burned. The second attempt still came out semi-burned and didn't look or taste as appealing as expected, especially after the wait. I also ordered a spicy mezcal margarita. There was nothing spicy about it, and the presentation was plain at best. For a cocktail with mezcal and heat in the name, I expected more intention behind it. Atmosphere is decent. Medium lighting, plenty of space, and good potential for private dining. That part works. The service itself was polite and very apologetic about the delays, which I appreciated. That said, I would have liked to see a bit more management involvement checking in on the table to see how the rest of the experience landed. Overall, it lands around a 3.5 to 4 stars for me. Some strong flavors, but consistency and attention to detail need work

Lots of breakfast items and the food was actually decent but again overpriced. Our server was very nice but did not clear off our table at all. I tried to make a reservation for 7 the day before we visited the restaurant and they told me they only do reservations for four. Said I should expect about a 30 min wait for the group size and time we were wanting to be sat. Got there 30 mins prior to when we wanted to sit and the hostess told me it would be 45-60 mins and that there were several reservations ahead of me including another 7 top and if the reservation came in our table would keep getting bumped. This was VERY annoying. Our table ended up being ready in 30 mins which was nice but the conversation with the hostess to start then seemed ridiculously unnecessary. There is little waiting space inside and a makeshift host "area." I won't be back.

But I'm not as much a fan. My deli "go-to" items are matzah ball soup and brisket sandwich and I feel this place falls short on both. Soup is just ok, nothing special, the broth is pretty bland, matzah ball is fine. But it's moreso the brisket that's disappointing. I keep giving it a chance but every time it's the same fatty, unappetizing meat. I much prefer how the competition a half mile down the street does those two items. I'm sure we'll be coming back here again ... I just need to remember to try something different next time. And lower my NY standards.
